She smiled and continued to cut the food. "Okay then." she said with a smile. She fried them up in a pan. "Time to eat she said as she set the table. "Jake I'm sorry for my father." she said softly looking into his eyes. She had been saying that since they meet, but she really meant it.

Jake curled his nose up at the spell and waffed it away a little, but then he faked a smile and sat down at the table waiting for it to be served "oh he is the one who should appoligize not you, and maybe when i save his people he might just see im good and not planning to eat them all" he said as he sighed a bit "but so far, only you can see that"

Fiona looked to her good friend and softly smiled. "We'll get through this together, and they will see what I see." she said as she put the food in two bowls and and put them on the table. "I know who you are and what your meant to be, you just have to see it as well." she said as she sat down and began to eat her food.

Jake watched her put the food on the table and he sat down with his tail hanging down "they better do... I hate being treated like the villian" He grumbled as he sniffed the food, he then licked a bit out and chewed it slowly with the face he had when trying the tomato "I know... bleh... I am a creature of two kinds" he said swallowing the mouthfull he had "ok... I defently do not like veggies" He said looking at his bowl "But I want to be one of you... so I will eat it" he said licking up another mouthful of vegtables

Fiona smiled and gently took his hand. "Not all of us eat just veggies." she said softly. "Most of the villiage eats meat, we don't because we need to stay pure for our magic." she said softly. "I can make you some meat if you would like." she said once more, "any way even if your not a part of the village, your still part of me, and I want you to be happy with what ever you chose." she said softly, as she with drew her hand from his.

Jake listened to her and was confused "no meat equals magic... that is odd... dragons NEED meat for them to use magic..." he said and thought "... so if humans cant eat meat for magic and dragons need to eat meat... what do I do" He asked becoming more unsure which he was "do I even count as a being or am I a spirit?" He asked really confused

"well I don't know. I condsiter you a person." she said as she softly blushed. She took a bite of her food. "Really dragons need me to use magic. I didn't know that." she said softly as she smiled at him. Something about Jake made her happy no matter what. "Do you want to practice after dinner?" she asked.

Jake heard her comment and blushed lightly as well "But that is because you are the kindest human alive" He replied as he forced another bite of vegetables down and then chuckled a little "You didn't know that? Well you still have to learn about me" He said playfully poking her with his claw, but he made sure it was very gentle "Weeeeell... I guess it would hurt to have a little practice afterwards"

She smiled. "I'm not the kindest." she said softly blushing. She finished the last few bites of veggies. "I can't wait to learn all about you." she said with a smile as she felt his claw on her she softly giggled. "That tickle." she said softly. "Okay there's a place out back that my mother use to train me in.

Jake gave up and pushed half of his dinner away, he then smiled and chuckled "im sure in time you will know all about me" He said as he then looked at his claws "they can tickle... but also slice" He said dragging them across the table to show their sharpness as they easily glided through the wood but not very deep "I have learnt how to be either careful with them, or violent"

Fiona looked to him she smiled. "Well as long as your gentle with me." she said with a wink. She took his claws in her hand and looked at closely. "No wonder your going to be our savoir." she said as she took his dish and put it in the sink with hers. she started the water. "I'm glad its you and not someone else." she said softly. In secretly she loved him and had loved him since they first meet many years ago.

Jake chuckled a bit and blushed at her wink "W-Well I would never dare hurt you" He said and smiled a bit, he then blushed a little brighter as she took his hand to inspect his claws "Well... I just hope I can save you all... If not then I will just die trying, afterall, it is my destiny to win the battle... Right?" He asked gulping a little to the fact he could possibly die "But why me?... I no fighter, I am just a means of destruction if my dragon over takes" he said looking down in shame at the fact in the past he had destroyed a entire city without wishing too

Fiona gently Touched his face, and gently pulled it to look at hers. "You won't destroy my home. Your our savior, and I'll be by your side no matter what." she said softly. She put a smile on her face. She took his hand in her own again. "Your going to be just fine, even if you let your dragon out." she said softly as she gently put her face into his hand.

Jake's black cheek scales soon become a bright cherry red as he felt her hand on his face and heard her words, he had always had a seceret crush on her, but seeing her acting this way towards him made him very happy but very shy too "oh... uuuum... errrr..." He said trying to get some words out but seemed to be brain dead at that moment as his hand gently laid upon her hand on his face "Th-Thank y-y-you" He stuttered still blushing.

Fiona softly giggled as she saw him blushed. She finished up the dishes. and took him by the hand, "come lets go out back." She said as she lead him out the back door, it was a lager room, hidden with magic, they both could feel the pull of the magic on the place. "My mother use to train me here before she died." fiona said as she took a deep breath in.

Jake was still blushing as he stood up while she finished the dishes and his tail was wagging lightly but it still knocked over his chair "Okay" He said as he held her hand tightly not wanting to let go as she led him into the room, he looked around and hear her words "Your mother was a beautiful woman, as long as you keep her in your heart she will never be fully dead" He said gently rubbing Fiona's back

She smiled as she looked up at him. "Thank you Jake." she said as she gently let go of his hand. "Now, we really should practice." she said softly as she focused her magic. "I want to show you something." she said with a smile. Her eyes closed and she began to chant a few words, as she did a big dragon appeared. His black scales and orange eyes would freak most people out, but Fiona opened her eyes and gently touched the Dragons nose. "I do believe that he's part of you." she said softly.

Jake smiled and bowed as he listened to her and chuckled a little wondering what he could practice on, he only needed to learn how to fight. Jake looked at her as she closed her eyes and began to chant "What are y..." He was cut off by the sight of a large black dragon, He growled and got into defensive position, he then looked at Fiona and growled at her a little too "are you crazy! That is the evil side of me" He said glaring at his dragon form "All he does is kill"

Fiona stood there and looked at the dragon. "He doesn't look to dangerous to me." she said as she snuggled her face into his nose. Fiona keep a hand under his face and keep petting the nose. "I don't think his as bad as you think Jake." she said as she looked at the pair of them. You two are one in the same, both of you need to learn to work together, for with out each other neither of you would exists." she said as she took a step back from the dragon.

Jake listened to her still not taking his eyes away from his dragon side while she petted the dragons nose, oddly Jake could feel the feeling of his nose being petted as well which caused a small blush on his face and Jake looked into pretty much his own eyes "but then... why did he kill so many souls..."

"he kills because you are at odds with him." she said softly as she moved towards Jake. She gently touched his cheek, and looked into his eyes. "He kills in fear that your going to kill him." she said softly as she looked to the Dragon. "You two can be strong together, you don't have to hide." she said softly. "Your are the savoir of this land." she said softly looking back at Jake. "If nothing else, you are my savior." she said softly as she removed her hand from his cheek and walked away from the two of them.

Jake listened to her explain as he gently put his hand on hers, he looked at his dragon form with a small smile. Once Fiona had walked away from them both, Jake walked closer to his dragon form and lifted his hand slowly, he slowly moved it forward until his hand laid upon the dragons nose which he also felt on his nose. Jake smiled looking into his eyes and chuckled "Okay... I promise I wont kill you... just... please... no more killing" he said hugging the dragons nose

Fiona looked back to the boy and softly smile. She knew that showing him what they were was going to be the only thing to make them strong. She then looked to the garden and chanted a few words, the veggies that she had planted that morning had now became fully grown. She then walked back to Jake and looked at the two of them. "See you two are already getting stronger." she said with a smile.

Jake smiled as he looked to Fiona, she was right, he had become stronger in his soul, though his physical strength was the same, he now felt that he could fight a whole army and not loose "Your right... and if you hadn't shown me myself... I would have surely lost the battle" He said smiling as he hugged her tightly "Thank you... I am finally at peace"

Fiona smiled and held his hand in he own. "you are meant for great things Jake." she said softly as the Dragon dissapeared into Jake. "Your safe as long as you have each other." she said softly. She withdrew her hand from his and walked away once more. "If you get some meat I'll try cooking it." she said with a smile.
