Welcome to The Lair!
This a hangout where anyone and everyone is welcome.
Some of you might know me as the Menewshan Vampire and for those who don't, well, now you do.
Be kind to others and enjoy your stay.
Keep it clean.
The room I've opened up is pretty much my favorite. It's the main library. There are simple yet comfy chairs at the reading tables or you could plop down in the eared chairs and in the soft leather Chesterfield couches. In the center of the longest wall is a fireplace, it's always lit up. The comfy Chesterfields are aligned in a circle around this heat source, just for romance. ;)
For drinks and snacks you can grab what ever you like from the side table and dresser next to the fireplace.
Oh but the blood packages are mine, go buy your own!
The art prize will consist of avatar art (such as above), done traditionally with copics and pencils. I might ask you for a different outfit, if it's too cluttered or busy to my liking.
Winners of Page Art Prizes:

oh, i have always been afraid of vampires!
i wear my cross religiously too.
when i was little my cousin used to try to scared me all the time when i would watch a vampire movie.
he often succeeded and i would inevitablely have nightmares!
i still sleep with the covers up around my neck to keep them at bay ;p !

Hahaa, Silly cousin of yours. You don't have to be scared of me. I don't bite unless you're Mr. Mayor or Star, although I won't bite Star any more. Lucky gal.
Vampires aren't that scary, really. I think...

not with 'twilight' and 'the vampire diaries' and such, no not as scary as they used to be.
but i am still a chicken.
i watch a lot of scary movies but watch them behind closed fingers usually.
i haven't seen a good vampire movie in awhile.
hope you get some more vampies to hangout with.

Ah, don't mention the sparklies in here... I should put that up as a rule.
There haven't been any good Vampire movies about lately. I know that they are still working on " The Vampire Lestat" after the book of Anne Rice, but it's more romance and drama than horror.
Oh but I'm not only looking for Vampires to hangout with. Everyone is welcome to hop by and chat.

I've still need to find the time to read 'Queen of the Damned' I find it a quite confusing book to be honest.
The Sparklies are the Twilight 'Vampires' The ones that sparkle when sunlight touch their skin, instead of burning and dying. Like anyone else does. Who is a vampire of course.

Misster le Fay, thank you very much. x3
Buffy was the last decent vampire show. Though I enjoy True Blood. I saw Vampire Diaries the other day, felt like it was just a badly knocked off of Buffy or something. Twilight...I think it does not need any special review. The word "Awful" suffices.

True Blood is interesting. Vampires are dark, sexy and dangerous, as they really should be. It has an interesting plot. The human characters are southern folk and rednecks, but not as annoying as per usual. All in all, a pretty good show.

Oh, do accept my apology.
True blood is something I fell into halfway season 2 and enjoyed it. Though I'd need to kick my significant other to pass the files over. >w<

Apology accepted.
Ah, significant others... I have quite a few of those. There is no sense in sticking to just one, is there? One cannot possibly fulfill all your needs, really.
Ooh, that Lafayette character is really something, though black men rarely appeal to me.

Lafayette, is just one big awesome hunk of man.
I have one, trust me, it's hard enough to handle at times.

i think it all depends on the significant other.
i agree with Jack, one is hard enough to handle sometimes.

Makes me wonder how we'll be after his four month deployment.

Well, I boil mine each day, then drink them. Meaning, I love my teas a whole lot to consider them lovers.
I gave up on humans, to be honest.

Ah, tea. Tea can fix almost anything. Almost. Depending on the herbs and fruits used in them.
Humans aren't that bad, you've just came across some very bad examples.

You got that right, but I am not really lonely, so it works just fine.
Oh, another tea lover? Splendid! I think I will just go brew myself a nice, big pot for the day.

I've been looking for nice teas lately. But it's hard to find those special mixes which have a reasonable price. Usually I settle with a good Earl Grey.
