Nope, not yet. I just had enough time to scan the thread quick. I plan on going back to read more soon.

Ah, sweet. :B Hope to see you around there.
I'm in school for Illustration (though I'm not taking classes now because of the expense @ [email protected]), but I'm not as good as Iro. xD I mostly like watching them draw.

Oh, yes, it is quite expensive. One semester cost me almost $800 for art supplies on top of tuition and books. @[email protected]

Yess. :gonk: Though thankfully, my supplies weren't that much! Goodness.

Ah, yes... that was the semester I started taking painting classes. @[email protected] I hate oil painting, and that was the most pricey part.

I like oil painting. Though I have no idea what I'm doing. xDDD
I've never taken classes though so...

The main problem I had is that I would get migraines from the materials and a lot of it is kind of toxic. Plus I went through soooo much paint. @[email protected]

I enjoyed watercolors, though.

Ooh yeah. That's not good. D:

I like the way watercolor looks, but I have about no clue what to do with that. xDD

Painting in general... not a lot of experience for me.

This is why I prefer jewelry - less migraine-inducing materials. Plus, I'm kind of obsessed with semi-precious gemstones. XD

I have to admit, I'm finding it pretty easy to get into. The hardest part is coming up with a good stock of materials. So, at this point, I've got about a thousand dollars worth of stuff just crammed into a corner in my apartment. I really need to get organized. >.>

I first got into it because my oldest daughter has Asperger Syndrome and stones are one of her interests. One of the counselors we had been seeing suggested that we have more mom/daughter time to work on our relationship because we were under a lot of stress. So I thought it would be a great thing to do together. It's working out really well. I think she's actually better than I am! XD

There are a LOT of free tutorials for jewelry-making on the internet if you want to check it out. (Everything from easy-peasy beginning stuff to harder things) That's what I usually go on, though I do have a few beading magazines at home too.

Wow.. xDD That's a lot of stuff!

And awww. Glad that's working out well. > w<

I made a necklace one. But it was just a strip of this kind of meshy ribbon, with a stone hung on it. And then I added a clasp. I really like it, but hardly wear it.
I probably couldn't get to into it though because of the need to get supplies and such. :c
And I'm not a big hands-on person, not for crafts at least. I have spurts of it where I'll knit or make plushies, but that's it. And it doesn't last long. XD

Oh! I've never had a chance to make plushies! Torri (oldest daughter) and I are crazy for little hand made plushies. Seriously - I bought her a "rice buddy" (grain of rice with a cute face) and she bought herself one of the cutsy mochi cakes. XD

I have a bunch of tiny animal plushes and paid for a commissioned plush of my favorite anime boy: Dio Elaclaire.

You should~ I just make really simple ones. Haha.
Awww, those sound cute! > w<

I don't buy many plushies anymore since they kind of take up space and ... don't do much.. :XD
I've never heard of him. What's he from?

Dio's from Last Exile, which is a sort of steampunk fantasy. He's a creepy little guy who likes to get too far into some people's personal space. ^.^'

OMG My husband just brought a cake home. It's half a sheet cake and has edible paper with autumn leaves on it and has a layer of caramel sauce. O.O
