Sai took a calming breath and nods. "I am sorry, yes it is fine. Nothing is wrong with me" he smiles slightly. He felt weird and he didnt know how to put it. He wanted to stay close to Sasuke's body, but kept that opinion to himself. He looks the other male over a bit then turns away. He walked to the mouth of the cave and takes a deep breath of the fresh air. Shaking his head to clear it a bit he then turns back to the other male. "Are you alright?" he asks a bit.

"Yeah..I'm fine.." Sasuke whispers, staring at Sai in an odd way. He had an urge to just hold him close and never let him go. He wanted to so, so bad, yet couldn't muster up enough courage. "Sai..nevermind.." he sighed. He'd been so close to telling him the teuth, but had once agian backed out at the last moment. He wanted so bad to just let it all out, but he was afraid of what might happen once he told. What if Sai felt completly differant than Sasuke did? What if Sai thought he was creepy and a faggot? He hated just how cowardly he was being, but he had way to much to lose if he offended Sai. He would tell him..eventually, just definatly not here or now.

Sai tilts his head a bit. He smiles a bit and then moves closer to him. "Sasuke...." he takes his hand a bit. "It is ok, do not worry about me" he says.

Sasuke blushed like crazy as his hand was touched. He stared right into Sai's eyes and felt like he was melting. "O-Ok...I won't worry. I know you're strong." Sasuke managed to choke out as his face heated even more. This kind of closeness was driving him crazy. He could feel Sai's hot breath on his face and neck. It was making him want to kiss him so bad.

Sai turned away a bit and takes a breath he was happier now.

Sasuke kissed Sai's cheek. It wasn't anything like what he'd wanted to do, but he knew he shouldn't do anything he might regret. A kiss on the cheek was fine for now. "Should we get moving closer to Kohana? We need to get back don't we?"

Sai's mind flicked to Sakura and Naruto waiting on him. He turns quickly. "We have to go, Orochimaru and Kabuto are looking for you and me, if they run into Sakura and Naruto.." he knew they had to warn them. He pulls on his bag and puts out the fire he was ready to go. The stiffness in his body would have to wait he didn't care about it now and would not let it stop him.

Sasuke ran after Sai. He hadn't expected him to want to move right at that instant, but he guessed it was better now and get a head start. He followed close behind Sai, letting him lead the way. It had been a while since Sasuke had traveled to Kohana, so he wasn't so sure what why to go. That was one of many reasons he hadn't come back home before now.

Sai kept his body moving, it was better then just letting the dull stiffness take over. He kept his senses alert for any sign of Kabuto or Orochimaru. He hoped that the tao of them could make it back in time to get the others prepared if there was something that would happen. He did not want to leave them guessing and vulnerable.

Sasuke hadn't expected Sai to he so fast after having that antidote. Normal people would have been slowed by the odd stiffness that the meds would have caused them. He guessed that Sai must be super strong or something. He turned and jumped up, still following Sai, but now from the trees. Sasuke had done lots of training as a young man in the trees and he could move much faster jumping from tree to tree than he could on foot. He was sure to keep Sai in sight, perusing him. He hoped they made it back soon, though Sasuke was just as nervous as he was happy to go back. He was a bit afraid the others might not want him back after he'd been all bad and stuff.

Sai looked a bit to his left, he sensed something and immediately stopped. His body turned easily with him, but as it did he felt a strong jolt of a dull pain pulse through his slender form. He refused to flinch, but bit his bottom lip a bit lightly.

Sasuke stoped suddenly and wondered why Sai was looking around. Did he see something? Where they being followed? "Sai...?" Sasuke was worrid about the boy. Why was he just standing there? "Sai what do you see? Who is it?" he prayed it wasn't Orochimaru.

Sai didn't respond right away. He let his eyes scan the area for a moment before soon he herd his name being called. He relaxed as through the trees, Naruto and Sakura came into view.

Sasuke smiled and yelled put to the people coming near. He now saw it was Naruto and Sakura. "Hey guys!!! It's me!!" he figured he'd just let them figure out who was speaking when they came near.

Sai looked back at Sasuke and then down. He let the three get into a group watching them talk. He sighs lightly and turned away walking slowly along the trail, they knew the way back, there was no need for him to stay any longer.

Sasuke saw Sai making his escape and jumped on him. "NO!" he blushed a bit, trying to sound more like himself, but failing epically. "I mean...it would be stupid to split up." his excuse was stupid, but who dared question his motives? "Sai..when we get the first chance I need to talk to you completely alone...out of ear shot AND sight of others ok?" Sasuke whispered to him. He had an Important thing to tell Sai

Uncertain of what Sasuke could need to tell him, he nods a bit. He looked over at Naruto and Sakura seeing them watching the two with an odd look. H placed a hand on his slender hip, as he turned to them completely. "Shall we head back then?" he asks.

Sasuke smiled at just hoe adorable Sai looked with his hand on his hip like that. Sakura spoke up. "Yeah, let's go.."

Naruto tilted his head, in his usual clueless way. "What the..." he shrugged then smiles. "Let's hurry, maybe when we get back we can talk Sensei into getting ramen as a welcome home for Sai" the thought made his mouth water and he turned. "Lets go" he says shooting a hand into the air and taking off. Sai sighed, sometimes Naruto could be so strange. He looked at Sauske seeing him watching his hips a bit. "Is something wrong?" he asks.

"No, no I'm fine...Just ready to get home." he gave one of the odd half smiles that he gave when he'd been caught doing something wrong. He was glad Sai wasn't asking why his eyes were glued to the other guy's hips. It just had been so funny seeing that kind of thing. Sai had looked sooo cute!!!

Sai smiles lightly and takes a breath. He then turned and moved to go along with the others. Naruto was more then excited to get back at the thought of ramen.

Sasuke felt wondeful to be back among his friends. It seemed right and he wondered why he'd ever gone after Orchimaru in the first Place. His friends were worth way more than a silly revenge on his brother.

Sai walked behind the others, he watched them, especially Sasuke. Tilting his head a bit he crossed his arms over his slender frame and thought about what he had said. What could the boy want to tell him? He saw Naruto laugh and slap Sasuke on the back. He must have been telling some joke or something. Feelings...humor...Sai sighed, he was still getting used to the thought of having feelings and wanting to learn as much as he could about them. He felt strange around Sasuke...something that he had never felt at all. He had no idea what it was but he wanted to stay close to Sasuke and never leave him...

Sasuke laughed at one of Naruto's really lame jokes. It was good to be back together, but it was clear Naruto hadn't grown up any. He was still a crazy trouble maker. Sasuke looked back at Sai who was trudging along a good distance behind them. "Come on!" he yelled back with a fait smile on his lips. "Walk with us, we don't bite...hard..." he grinned. He kinda really wanted to bite Sai just to see what the reaction would be to such behavior.

Sai looked at them and stops. "I am fine...sorry to make you worry." he gave a familiar fake smile. "I will see you later I must...speak to someone" he turned and began walking along a road that branched off.
