always when i make some new videos, i always use Windows Movie Maker
but i suck at it xD

All I've ever used to make videos is WMM.
You just need to work the clips, to make a story with the music.

The use of the effects can really make a good video, so long as you don't go over board.

Video making is all trial and error. If you want to see some of my videos I'll pm you my youtube account. If you have any videos on the interwebs you can send me the link and I'll give you some advice based on each piece rather than basic tips.
