Katsuro nuzzled back and cuddled closer. Aura watched them, sure she'd just missed something, but still content to watch them.

Sesshomaru stayed there, very pleased, before he slowly started walking towards Ah-Un again, letting Katsuro get used to the smell of dragon. The pup would be around them a lot more now, Sesshomaru figured, so he might as well start getting the pup used to them now.

Aura smiled a bit, and settled in to watch the rest of the dragons mill about.

Katsuro clung to his father, a bit uncertain about the dragon. He whined a bit, but didn't try to squirm away.

Sesshomaru hummed reassuringly, moving a few feet away from Ah-Un and stopping there to let the pup adjust.

Katsuro looked around cautiously before looking at the dragon. He remembered smelling it earlier, while he was trying to nap against his mother, but it had been quick and he hadn't seen the dragon after that until now. He still didn't want to get much closer, though. Not yet.

Sesshomaru just stayed there, content to let the pup take his time investigating the dragons. That was a good sign that he was looking around and still smelling things; he wasn't shying away. Good. He wouldn't be an ignorant pup later on, then.

Eventually, Katsuro got a bit bolder in looking around and investigating things. Nothing had happened yet, so things must be safe enough to explore. He squirmed a little bit in his father's grip, trying to get a bit closer to the dragons.

Sesshomaru didn't set him down, but he did move closer to the dragons. Ah-Un both blinked and looked over, leaning down to sniff the little thing in their master's arms.

Katsuro sniffed back, and then reached up to touch. Clearly, smell wasn't giving him enough information. He waved his little hands around, trying to touch the dragons.

Ah-Un were happy to comply, lowering their heads to peer at the little one. Ah got there first, so Un chirped pitifully at Sesshomaru while waiting his turn.

Katsuro patted him on the nose, giggling a bit as he did so. He was starting to have some fun now.

Ah cooed at the little one, barely reacting to being patted on the nose. He did lean down closer to snuff in the pup's face, though.

Katsuro giggled in reply, and then sneezed, making his hair and the little bit of fuzz on his ears fluff up a bit.

The dragon snorted in reply, ruffling the pup's hair even more before he nosed the pup very gently, being careful not to hurt him.

Katsuro squealed in delight and tried to hug the dragon's muzzle. He might have been afraid of the dragons before, but he wasn't now.

Sesshomaru smiled faintly and stayed there, letting his son get acquainted with them. So far they were all behavng, which was good. Ah and Un both chirped, very pleased with the pup.

Aura came up next to her mate and son, watching them. She was pleased, as well. She'd been worried that Katsuro would be too afraid of the dragons, and she was glad he wasn't.

Sesshomaru shot her a quick smile, pleased with his son and the dragons. He freed one arm to pull her closer, quite pleased with life.

Playing with the dragons was all well and good, but Katsuro got distracted when his mother appeared. Suddenly, the dragons weren't important anymore. Fun and interesting, yes, but not as important. He reached toward her, squirming and trying to get to her.

Sesshomaru held Katsuro out for Aura to take, smiling a little. Good. The pup had his priorities straight.

Aura grinned and took the pup from him. Katsuro cuddled close to her, fisting his hands in her shirt and making happy little sounds. Aura blinked in surprise when the pup's happy little mumblings started to sound more and more like 'mama,' and she looked at her mate to make sure she wasn't just hearing things.

Sesshomaru smiled a little, clearly proud of his son. He was developing faster than most pups did. Even Inuyasha had taken longer to start putting together words.

Aura smiled as well and cuddled the pup rubbing his ears. Katsuro almost immediately relaxed against her and snuggled closer.

"I think this is a big day for him," she said softly to her mate.

Sesshomaru nodded. "In multiple ways," he agreed. He smiled a little and smoothed one hand over Katsuro's head.

One of Katsuro's ears twitched a bit, but the pup didn't stop cuddling close to his mother. Now that he wasn't preoccupied by the dragons anymore, he was getting ready for a bit of a nap.
