Mizu stood at the front of the class nervously after being called up to read her opening paragraph to her Halloween themed essay for her creative writing class. She tried her best to keep her posture perfect and mooved the stray strands of presumably dyed blue hair from her face and began to read.

"What is a 'demon' to a human...? And are they really as horrible as some make them out to be in their stories? Nothing more than disgusting faces with evil intentions? Or maybe they are nothing more than the make believe creatures, that come to life once every October 31st, in the hearts of children looking for a good treat to eat? Is it possible that demons are real that they live among the humans, and that maybe they are just like humans, but misinterpreted? Is it not possible that they are hurt and looking for someone to finally understand them and see them for what they really are. Just another face in the crowd looking to make a living and have a happy life. Who are we to judge them and critisize them with out even getting a closer look at the big picture?"

Matt ran through the hallways, he was late once again, so what else was new? There had maybe been ONCE that he had been on time for his creative writing class. Around each corner he slowed down to make sure one of security didnt see him running about, he couldn't afford another demerit. He looked at his watch quickly, he was about seven minutes late and he still had to make it up the stairs and all the way down tohe corridor to get to class,"Three minutes..I can make it before the cut off.." He said as he was closing in on the stairs. He took them in leaps of two and three and at the stroke of the tenth minute he entered the room glad that she hadnt locked the door just yet.

Skye sat in the back of the creative writing classroom, shrouded by the shadows. The teacher always kept the room dimly lit, but there was enough light to see what you were doing or writing without straining your eyes. He had changed his skin color from pure white to a pale-ish tone of human skin. His only visible eye was a light gray color, his hair still white. He listened to Mizu read the opening paragraph to her essay. His gaze drifted from her over to Matt as the young male rushed in right before the teacher locked the door. The expression on his face didn't change as he turned his attention back to Mizu, continuing to listen to her.

Vivian brushed a few strands of her bright red hair out of her field of vision, her gold gaze settling on Mizu. She sat up straight, the sleeves of her kimono dangling from the sides of her desk just a bit. She didn't take her eyes off of Mizu when Matt entered the room, but noticed him from the corner of her eye. A small smile rested on her lips as she listened to the blue haired female read her opening paragraph aloud.

Mizu finished the last few sentences of the paragraph and the teacher clapped and expected the class to follow. After they clapped mizu took her seat towards the back of the room in front of Skye. She let out a quiet sigh, she hated any form of public speaking especially with it being her reading THAT type of essay... She hoped no one here would find out about her actual identity if they did she would be like burned at the stake like her ancestors ever so long before.

Matt took his seat as mizu did. The teacher had given him a short lecture about the rudeness of being late and how he would now serve detention at lunch time. Once the class was at 'peace again' she asked them to discuss out loud her opening paragraph but by each student rasing their hand and being called on so the whole class could hear. Matt flipped open his sketch book deciding not to care since he didnt really hear much of her opening anyway.

Skye smirked slightly as Mizu took her seat. He would have loved to hear what else she had written for the essay. He didn't care to raise his hand, nor did he care to speak. He would end up saying something unbelievable but true. He just kept his gaze locked on the clock, wishing time would pass by faster.

Vivian listened to what other students had to say. She had a slightly tired/bored/blank look on her face. She wasn't much for talking during class. She stayed silent half the time, as if she was mute. Her gaze drifted over to the nearby window, watching as birds flew by.

Mizu was basically forced to respond to every person who responded to her first paragraph. while dooing so she kept glancing at the clock this class was going to take forever at this rate. She didnt know if she was breaking a rule or not but she just didnt want to be in this class anymore, when no one she could see was looking at the clock she glanced at and the hand quickly moved ten minutes ahead. but she hadnt used her powers to move just their class room clock but the whole schooles clock, so everyone would get out early, and make the day go buy alittle faster. she would just have to change the clocks back during the night so no one was late for school tomorrow.

Matt drew all sorts of 'demonic' creatures in his sketch pad, he loved the way they looked, he started iff wuth making evil ones as most thougt of demons though as the class talked about her paragraph and he got a feel for it he drew demons of all kinds with different expressions some pained some happy and innocent... he also drew Mizu as a demon. sincehe knew her first name ment water he made her look like a demon with scales and even a mermaid tail. and yet even as a demonic creature in his sketch book he still thought she was pretty

Skye raised an eyebrow, noticing the clock go ahead ten minutes. He couldn't help but chuckle silently, knowing it was Mizu's doing. He soon drowned out the sound of the others, closing his eyes as he leaned back in his chair.

Vivian had ended up zoning out, not paying attention to anything in the room as she stared out the window. Once she was back in reality, she got out her sketchbook and started to doodle out of boredom. She wanted to be in art right now, working on the assignment they had to do. She sighed, the doodles looking like creatures from a nightmarish world. Some might look adorable, but in her head, they used their cuteness to deceive their prey. She rested her chin on her free hand, her elbow propped up on her desk as she doodled.

After another ten minutes the bel rang. Mizu waited for most of the class to flood out befor getting to her feet. she had a 'free period' now. She was one of the 'lucky' students to have two free periods as well as a lunch. She got her schedule this way due to a 'medical' condition where she couldnt be around people for two long without having 'panic' attacks.so she had 2nd and 8th as free periods and 5th was her lunch they were one of the few with a 9 period schedule

Matt was called back up to the teachers desk to be re lectured about the importance of being ontime and what not after she let him out of the room he bolted to his locker he had math next followed by art. he threw in the books he didnt need basically all except his personal sketch book and took out his math text and his class sketch book. he wopuld get his next set of books later

Skye got up, walking up to Mizu. "Free period?" He said quietly, "I think I'll join you." He grinned slightly, yet not much. He didn't feel like going to science, so he would make an excuse that he got sick and stayed in the bathroom or something. He's skipped class a couple times before, so he wouldn't get in trouble.

Vivian stood up right as the bell rang. She followed the last few students out of the room, going to her locker. She got what she needed for art, which was just her art sketchbook and a few pencils plus an eraser. She had biology afterwards, so she would just get what she needed after art was over.

Mizu always had a funny feeling when skye was around she didnt know why but he made her feel... not un easy, but not content either she just felt weird around him. "Um... yea... sure. But dont you have class?" she asked positive that he had science. she gave him one of those 'you shouldnt be cutting class' looks. she thought for a moment " Wait your queezy about cutting the pig open arent you? she asked realizing it was just around that time where they did that lab.

(oops i said math before art >.> should i switch that or leave it? lol well ill just send him to class and you can pick if he is really in art rather than math.)

Matt closed his locker and than realized he had forgotten something else. he placed his things down and re did the combo, he really wanted to switch his lock to a key entry one but they werent aloud for some reason... he pulled out a tiny tackle box of art supplies and then clossed the locker again. picking up his things he headed towards the class room.

"You think I'd get quesy cutting a pig open?" Skye said with a raised eyebrow, "I've cut open much worse. Yes I have class, but I've skipped before. I don't get in trouble."

Once Vivian was in the art classroom, she sat down in her seat. She watched other students come in, sitting at the wide tables that could fit two people. She waited for class to start, beginning to doodle on a scrap piece of paper.

Mizu laughed " no but that could have easily been your excuse, the teacher would give you an automatic a and youd get to miss class for the whole week. Sounds like a prefect deal doesnt it?" she asked with a small smile wondering what he had cut open.

Matt got to the class right on time though most seats were filled. he sat next to the girl that was in his creative writing writting class and mumbled a hello to her

"I'll just say that I got an upset stomach and got sick or something," Skye said with a shrug of his shoulders, "If I don't do that pig thing, then the teacher would give me something else to do."

Vivian waved her hand slightly at Matt as he muttered a hello to her. She yawned slightly, continuing to doodle.

Matt rested his head onto the table, he was till tired and really didnt want to be in school, and being tired for art that was a huge alarm in his head that he really needed to get his schedules straightened out if he did nothing else that week. The way he rested his head he was facing her he got a good glimse of her doodles though closed his eyes so that she didnt think he was just staring at her and her drawings.

Mizu " Whatever you say, lol I guess your teacher just isnt as cool as mine is" she said taking a step or two away from him " I need to go to my locker." she said "Your choice if you want to follow or not." She then turned and headed to her locker which was located upstairs in the history wing.

Skye shrugged his shoulders. "Some teachers are different than others," He said as he followed her. He absolutely hated being in his human form. It was hideous! The color of his skin practically made him gag. As did all the other colors he saw around him. If everything was black and white, then he would be truly happy with the world. Though he knew that the world around him, all colorful and full of life, would never go into a black and white state. Not even if an asteroid made impact on the earth. He shrugged the thoughts away, continuing to follow Mizu.

(lol its okay im sure Matt will be an idiot at some point and will make her speak up >.>)

The teacher directed them on what he wanted oput of this class session and showed them the objects that they were aloud to slect from and draw. they could draw any combination of them. in whatever medium they wanted for the day. Matt didnt have to think about what he wanted to use, he knew in a heart beat. He really wanted to use water colors, he had been practicing and wanted to see just how well he had improved since his last assignment using them.

"Yea i suppose but still, what are you going to do about missing the first day of insisions and what not? if hes going to make you do something else instead of that you might6 aswell just skip all of it., right?" SHe got what she needed and closed her locked and then proceded to the court yard. Normally she would go... else where but since she had a follower today she really couldnt access her hiden spot. so the courtyard would have to do.. atleast it has a pond with fishies.. she thought to herself and sat down on the bench by it.

Vivian perked up slightly at the thought of drawing the rose in the vase using oil pastels. Knowing her, she'd already have the rose sketched out in no time flat. She was always good at art related stuff. Especially when she could blend the colors together.

Skye shrugged his shoulders. "I told you that I've done worse than cut open a pig," He said, "I'm sure I can manage dissecting a pig after missing one day. We work in groups, anyways. So it doesn't matter if I miss the first day." He continued to follow Mizu, wishing the day was over so he could go home and be his not-so-normal monochromatic demon self.

( so about that not leaving you for a month memo, i dont think i got that in time now did i? lol Sorry about that. i murdered my computer for awhile >.> )

Matt thought for a while before deciding what he was going to do the teacher said he could draw Anything in the room that also meant anyone in the room right? he didnt bother with a sketch he had drawn his class mate many times. he went and got his water colors, he was getting better at it and felt confident in making this a beautiful picture he would just hope that she didnt notice it was her. he would also paint someone else in the room to make it not seem so... obsessed on just her.

misu smiled at him " Well mister ive done more... what have you done?" she asked with a daring eye curious what he would say " She went out to the courtyard and sat under one of the cherry blossom trees and looked at him waiting for him to tell her of his cutting open of things.

Skye continued to follow her, thinking about it. "It's best you didn't know," he said, "Might make you run away or see me completely differently."

Vivian was busy focusing on the rose. She barely looked down at her paper to see where she was drawing, yet it still seemed to come out good. She squinted slightly at the rose, then went on to figure out which colors she would use.

She turned to him abruptly " I highly doubt that.." she said looking straight into his eyes, there was a lot no one knew about her, she never killed anyone to her knowledge but she had done her fair share of blood shed. She had always found a way to leave those who found out about her alive, though unable to tell about her.

matt started to paint the other girl first thinking this way if anyone thought anything the girl in the fore ground was the one of his personal choice though really it wasnt the case, he painted with swift and sure strokes getting more paint when needed.

"I'm not going to tell you, though," Skye said, crossing his arms, looking away slightly.

Vivian let out a small yawn, putting down what she had gotten so far. Her hand started to cramp, which wasn't a very good feeling.

She made a funny face "Well fine then, be that way" she said acting upset though she laughed ruining it " So mister secretive, what would you like to do with your sudden found free time? She asked looking at him

Matt moved his hand quickly to get a different brush to continue his work and while going to put water on the brush he knocked over the cup getting it on his and her work and clothing as well "Shit!"

"Well I was hoping to spend some time with a lovely water witch," Skye said with a grin, "Of course... It's up to you if you would want to spend time with a demon like me."

Vivian jumped slightly, practically falling out of her chair after the dirty water from the cup went everywhere. She looked up at Matt with a look of disbelief on her face. She was wearing one of her favorite kimonos, and he just ruined it. When she stood up and saw her work ruined as well, it just worsened her mood. She ended up rushing off to the bathroom, wanting to get her kimono as clean as she could.
