Like how short is your hair? I had mine in a chin length asymmetrical bob one time and I did a lower level of purple and an upper level of black, but the black was just a choice. I've done it as brown and purple too. But like I have a friend who has like a pixie cut and she has blue highlights and she did one half of her head like... race car red at one point.

Um, I guess it's about 2 inches long? I guess the best way to describe it is its cut similar to the average boy's hair cut. Haha.

Do you have any pictures of your hair dyed with the black and purple? Whoa, that red must have been extreme!

Ah, I have one where you can really see it and then I've got one where I have a snake around my neck that made my hair poof up like a lion's mane. XD So.... for fear of people having fear of snakes I will use the one in which the black looks more like dark brown. >.< But it's the general idea. And yes it was, but I did quite like it and I actually used the same red once I got tired of the purple. Eh, no pictures of that though which is kinda sad.

I like the way that looks. Not sure if I have enough hair in the back to pull it off. XD I like the way my little sister's friend has hers done. She has some purple kinda poking through her bangs in the front. But I don't want to copy her. >.>

What kind of hair dye do you use? I used Manic Panic when I did mine, but the color washed out so fast. u.u

I used Splat cause it's the only thing I could afford at the time. The purple lasted a pretty long time. The red? Eh, not so much, but I hear that's usually the case. It can still be pulled off if your hair looks like how I think it looks cause my mom's friend's hair is short like that and she has pink in the back on the lower part and her hair is like really short. Yeah. Ooh... that sounds cute.

My hair is a dark brown in most lights, light chestnut in the sun. I've only ever temp dyed it for a couple of days, that was purple and then black, but the latter didn't work out so well.
My style, if it can be called that consists of some old layering and feathering. My hair never stays in a style so it's pointless trying. I like to think i'm doing a good job of the wild look :3

I'm hoping to get it cut soon to about shoulder length. I don't really like it when it's really long.

I don't really do anything to my hair. Sometimes it gets trimmed, and a few times I've dyed it black in the past, but that's about it~
It's quite long, straight, and naturally dark brown, and I kind of like keeping it long even though sometimes it bothers me.

Naturally I have "red" hair, and the roots are showing pretty bad now, but it looks kinda okay. I've had my hair black before, and actual bright red. I prefer black, but my hair grows so fast and the roots show through within a week. ):

My hair is quite boring at the moment. Dark brown, rather (too) long, and extremely straight :(. I've dyed it before, it was black. It really contrasted with my pale skin but I loved it soo much. I'm hoping to cut and dye it again soon.

Long, about 3 inches past my shoulders. Dark Brown, but slightly lighter brown at the end from where it's grown out since Summer. Currently straight but a bit flicky because the moist air wrecked it this morning ;__;

I've also dyed my hair light brown and had light blue highlights.

My hairstyle (medium-length bangs, look at profile picture) really doesn't change as much as the color.

My hair is black with hint of brown; used to be like black black until I used this shampoo; and it ends a few inches below my shoulder. It's also kind of wavey and frizzy and I hate it; when I was younger my hair was past my behind and pretty damn straight, but by now I've cut 16 inches twice for sick kids :) I'm planning to get it permanently straight but always wanted to streak it a nice bright color :XD

Mine is a natural blue-black (aka Raven), dead-straight and just past my waist. It's also sleek and fine which makes it a pain to work with, I can barely keep it held in a ponytail most days. I used to keep it shoulder-length for years until my girlfriend said if I cut it I was sleeping on the couch :lol: The only time I've had it shorter than that I regretted it, my hair liked to kind of flip outwards and make it look like I had feathers glued to my head.

As for coloring, I've never dyed it but I would love some blue streaks. The only thing is, I'm terrified of bleaching it. I've heard too many horror stories.

My hair is shoulder length at the moment. I just got it cut today actually and I miss my long hair so much. It feels weird this short. But I'll get used to it. Short hair is just easier to manage.

I got it cut in September to donate it. A-line with side swept bangs.
It's grown out since then so it's about.. Below my neck now.

Right now I have the world's messiest ponytail. No one will teach me to tie a proper one and I can't get the darn thing centered. Now it poofs off near my ear. I'm starting to consider buying hair pins because I can't seem to keep the emo bang that I've been too lazy to chop off out of my eyes. My greasy look is completed by how well black shows the oiliness of my hair.
Classes make me dirty, which makes my heart cry.

I once had a bleach blonde and black mohawk. I miss that. For a few years, I was pretty awesome.

My hair is naturally a light blonde color, and I've never dyed it. I've actually always kind of wanted dark hair, but I don't think it would turn out well if I dyed it. Because it's naturally so light, I'm sure I would constantly have to be retouching the roots and such. And I think I'd end up regretting it if I ever actually dyed it. xD

Right now it's pretty short; it's in-between chin- and shoulder-length. It's layered and I style it so it's straight and the ends sort of flip out. I don't know quite how to describe it, so here is a picture.

I kind of wish I hadn't cut it sometimes, though; it was pretty long before, and it would probably be about waist-length by this point if I had let it keep growing. Right now I'm indecisive about whether to keep it short or grow it out again.

If I leave my hair to it's own devices it pretty much is slightly wavy and stays to the shape it is when I get up from bed. It is naturally very dark black and if I don't have time to straighten it just to get it to look decent I tie it up in a high ponytail. At the moment it is just past shoulder length.

My hair color is natural red-brownish, shoulder length and straight down. I usually don't do anything with it.
