The next day she slept in . It did feel good to have a day off. She got dressed and had breakfast thinking about looking around town a little bit. Sachi still thought about what she had saw outside her window last night . Knowing that she had more questions than answers

Ichigo was really grumpy the next morning and laod in bed for a good while. When he finally got up he showered and got on some clothes. He went out to just walk around, having nothing better to do.

Sachi decided to take a walk and waved goodbye to her parents. She wanted to forget what she had seen last night and wondered who Ichigo was really. Was he just a high schooler like her or was he someone else. She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't see Ichigo was close by.

Ichigo waved. "Hey Sachi!" he called, seeing she was in deep thought. he frowned at her odd expression and jogged up beside her. "Hey, what's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost or something." He almost laghed at his own personal joke.

" Oh! Hi Ichigo. Just lost in thought really." She smiled feeling embarresed. Sachi didn't want him to find out she could see ghosts, not knowing how he would react. " How are you today?" She said hoping to start a conversation .

He shrugged. "I'm ok i guess. I had a rough night last night." he was bruises and cut. "These aren't really bad wounds thankfully." he smiled. "So how about you? How are you doing?"

" I'm alright I guess. I haven't been sleeping well . " She said . It was the truth that she didn't sleep well last night. She didn't want to say that she saw him fighting a monster . She felt bad not telling him that she could see ghosts , fearing he wouldn't be her friend if he found out . This thought made her feel sad.

Ichigo looked at her funny. "You're acting a bit strange. You sure it's just had sleep? You cam trust me you know.." he really didn't belive she was telling him the truth.

Sachi looked down at her feet and said," Please don't hate me. I can see ghosts. I don't know how long I've been able to since I haven't noticed them till I moved here. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but after last night, I don't know what's wrong with me." She said sadly. She didn't want to lose him as a friend .

Itachi froze and stopped walking. He felt very suddenly nervous. "Hmm..I can see them too...what did you see last night exactly?" He asked. He was acting suspicious.

" I saw some sort of a monster outside." She said not saying that she saw him too. " You can see them? " She said feeling relived and not so alone anymore.

"Yeah..not only that, but I fight the bad ones..they're called hollows. I nearly got my ass handed to me by one last night."

" You did? Are you alright? How bad are these Hollows? I felt scared when it was near my house. Is that normal?" Sachi said asking the questions she had all at once." Sorry about that . I tend to get carried away sometimes when I'm nervous." She said apologizing.

Heaighed and then answered all of her questions. "I'm fine, just a little bruised. As for the hollows, well they're pretty bad. They eat souls or whatever. They're creepy like that." he answered her last question. "Yeah, they're pretty scary, I'm terrified of them, but I still manage to face them wothout wetting myself."

" Why would one want me? I don't want to see one again ." Sachi said solemnly . She hated feeling powerless and not being able to protect herself. She knew there had to be a way.

He thought. "Have any of your family members died? A lot of hollows go after their family before they go after anyone else. Or it could have been attracted to you because you can see them.."

" My grandpa Haro died last year. Could it have been him? " Sachi said sadly. She missed her grandpa very much. She often spent the weekends with him and her grandma while her parents were out of town.

Ichigo pondered. "It's a possiblity it was him. I don't know."

" If it was , I hope he's at peace now. He always was troubled by something." Sachi said. Haru Ozawa was a very kind man and was a caretaker at a cemetery. Sachi smiled when she thought of the things he taught her. " Would you like to go for a walk?" She asked, changing the subject.

He smiled sweetly. "Sure, i'd love to go for a walk.." He really liked her. She seemed so sweet. "O, and if it was the old man, he will be in peace now." He was glad he could say that truthfully.

" I'm glad he is at peace." They walked for a whiile before Sachi spoke again. She like Ichigo as a friend . He didn't judge her like the kids at her old school did." Do you have any siblings Ichigo?" She asked .

He nodded. "Yeah..two sisters, but they're really obnoxious.."

" Really? I have an older brother . His name is Kenji. " Sachi said with a small smile .

He nodded. "What's he like?"

" Kenji is nice, but likes to pick on me . He's really good at archery and taught me some. I was on my previous school's archery team." Sachi said ." Kenji's at a small University in Osaka studying law. I miss him now that we moved here. We lived near Osaka , before my dad got transferred here.
