My boyfriend works at Fry's Electronics. To compete with Best Buy, they're opening earlier than normal this year though they haven't told my bf what time yet. >.< It's either going to be 10pm on thanksgiving or 12. If he gets scheduled to open at 10, he won't be able to be here for thanksgiving so I'm hoping for 12. :(

All in all though, I don't shop on black friday. crowds of people would scare me...

I wish I could. I could possibly sneak way for black friday and just surprise him with one at lunch but he normally discourages me from lunch vistas because to him it's a waste of gas. Although, it would be kind of nice to look at what deals Fry's has going for black friday. Although, I'd honestly go to best buy... I believe the price match... and i know Fry's doesn't on black friday.

I'm not sure. like lets say he wants to buy a TV at a sale price, he can only have 1 discount or the other. So if it's cheaper to buy it at the sale price, he'd get that price. His discount doesn't stack :( I'm not sure if there are exceptions made for black friday or not...

I dont get to go black friday shopping DX my husband has to work that day and cant take off at all since hes a supervisor. ugh
But he said if they have any REALLY good tv sales he'll give me the money to get one. =D

I'm already finished with my x-mas shopping >.< Khol's had started black Friday early and I always get coupons for 40% off from michael's.The boyfriend's gifts have to come from online because we're just nerds and thinkgeek.com is awesome. So, between those stores I got just about everyone.

I tend to keep an eye out for prezzies all year round, though having said that i've only got my boyfriends thus far.
The time i really start to get excited about shopping is when the Christmas markets arrive in my local city. They have some where i'm at uni too, but it's nowhere near as exciting as Birmingham's.

I avoid Black Friday. It's too crowded in stores and I could spend that time sleeping instead of putzing around shopping for a gift for someone I hate.
I mostly shop for myself, anyway. Charity is overrated.

I don't really understand the concept of Black Friday. I understand that you have a shopping spree and shit but you could buy it any other day. I get there is more promotional sale and stuff but I've never done it and so I really wouldn't know. xD Plus it just sounds really dangerous and I rather not get into that shit and suffocate myself. =/ Plus we don't celebrate Christmas that much.

One time I had to take my cousin to Wal-Mart....one minute after midnight on that friday. God help us. ALL WE NEEDED WAS TAMPONS AND I WAS COLD! It took us an hour plus to get out of there...JUST FOR SOME TAMPONS!

There are big time sales on black friday depending on where you live. Everything is on sale. So you can get everything a lot cheaper than before or after. Like electronics prices are usually SLASHED. So....want to get someone something nice for cheap? That's when to do it.
