t.A.T.u. is a Russian Euro-pop/Pop/Rock/Electronica duet of Elena(Lena) Katina and Yulia(Julia) Volkova. They debuted in 2000 with their debut single "Ya Soshla S Uma"(I've Lost My Mind); then in 2001, they released their debut album "200 Po Vstrechnoy"(200 KM/H Against the Traffic." In 2002, they released their debut English album "200 KM/H in the Wrong Lane" with their first English single "All the Things She Said," the English version of "Ya Soshla S Uma." The album reached international fame. In 2003, they released "Remixes," with a new song called "Prostye Dvizheniya"(Simple Motions). In 2005, they released "Dangerous and Moving" with the three singles "All About Us," "Friend or Foe," and "Gomenasai." That same year in October, they released the Russian counterpart, "Lyudi Invalidy"(Invalid People). In 2006 they released "The Best" with a new track on it called "Null and Void." In 2007 they began recording songs for "Vesyolye Ulybki"(Happy Smiles) and released it in 2008. Their three singles were "Beliy Plaschik"(White Robe), "220," and "Snegopady"(Snowfalls). In 2009, they released the English counterpart, "Waste Management," featuring the three singles "White Robe," "Sparks," and "Snowfalls." "Snowfalls" was their final single before disbanding this year. In March this year, they released their final album, "Waste Management Remixes." After disagreements on creative differences, Lena and Yulia went solo.
Lena recorded a song in 2010 called "Lost in This Dance" and it's on Youtube, but not on iTunes yet. This year, she released her debut single, "Never Forget," featuring "Never Forget" and "Stay," both dedicated to Yulia. This year on September 19, on youtube another song came out called "Waiting," but that's not on iTunes either. Next year, she will have an entire debut album out, with upcoming songs, "So Not Cool," "IRS," "Just a Day," and "World."
Yulia recorded three songs that are not on iTunes yet called "Rage," "Woman All the Way Down,"(non-album track) and a snippet of "Stand Up." On her website, she released her debut single called "Sdvinu Mir" (I'll Change the World). The English version will be "All Because of You." I have no other news on upcoming songs.
