I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but I stand behind the U.S. ban of "RapeLay."

I'm sure you can guess what it's about without googling it.

I think Japan's cracking down on it too, from what people have been saying about the president over there, but I dunno.

I don't think any right-minded person would disagree.
There is not a single game that SHOULD be banned.
If you wanna say it "influenced your children, then that's your problem.
Either be a parent and tell them not to play it or teach them a thing or two about reality and virtual worlds, and how some things are not acceptable out here in reality.

Banning games is a stupid idea. If that happens, people will just pirate it out of curiosity. Plus that's censorship to the max.

That said, if the box says something's in it parents should be aware. And yes, parents should keep an eye on what their kids are playing. I mean really, sure I played things like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 when I was a kid. But back then, actions weren't NEARLY as realistic looking. I'm seeing 9 year olds here play scenes that wouldn't be shown in today's horror movies in just about the same detail as it would be in a horror movie, at that age I would be terrified.

I think one sentence sums up my thoughts the easiest: This is why we have a rating system, and online reviews/trailers.
