I think I would have to demo it first.

Whoa, it seems like it's going to be amazing. But yeah, I wonder how it's going to work as a multiplayer game...and, I'd suck horribly at it, because I'm totally not a group player at all. :headdesk:

I doubt I'll play it. I just don't like playing on the computer.

I love Skyrim, although I can't make full use of the amazing graphics because my computer is awful.
My character is a wood elf who likes to sneak up on people and shoot them/stab them in the back with daggers. Best skills are sneaking and lockpicking :)
One of my favourite parts of the game was assassinating the Emperor then walking around in his clothes xD
The ending kind of annoyed me though. It was just a bit... anti climatic. Maybe just because it didn't live up to the BY-THE-NINE-THERE'S-A-DAEDRIC-GOD-IN-THE-CITY-DESTROYING-EVERYTHING ending that Oblivion had. You just battle a giant dragon and that's it? May seem like an epic goal at the beginning but after you've killed 40 dragons, it seems quite dull.

My current best skills are Sneaking and Smithing, I think. :XD Close seconds are Archery and Speech. Mostly because I keep spam-training them. My Lockpicking's quite high too thanks to all those Master and/or Expert locks I keep coming across.

The game's been cool so far, I'm still not done with the civil war or main quest plotlines yet because they annoy me, and I keep shooting Mercer Frey in the face with arrows during the last few quests in the Thieves Guild because the man's an asshole. I like Oblivion better, just because the quests are more fun. Skyrim's quests mostly just makes me want to go punch something. :| Not too fun IMHO, especially with the larger questlines like the civil war. Both sides are asses in their own ways.

Mercer Frey is one of the most annoying NPCs in the game. If you get into a fight with him though, he's really deadly with those blades of his. I found that out the hard way. XD
I hate Maven Black-Briar more though. Partly because she acts so full of herself, and partly because I accidentally made her the new Jarl of Riften. :/

I'm glad I'm more of a long-range fighter than a short-range one, then. I get to pelt him with arrows and snipe him down before he can get close, though most of the time, I end up knocking him down with just one arrow. :P (when in sneak mode)

lmao, Yeah, I really don't like Maven Black-Briar myself. :XD When I found out that she becomes the Jarl if you side with the Imperials, I started the game over. (well, partly due to her, the other part was that I just don't like General Tullius...not that I like Ulfric Stormcloak much either)

It's a shame Maven is essential, I would've loved to be able to kill her and then go dump her body into the waters beside the Ratway or something. :|

I didn't like either the Stormcloaks or the Imperials... I sided with the Stormcloaks but only because I had to pick a side. I did try to be fair when I was negotiating a treaty though.... and I ended up making Maven a jarl >.>
Ulfric's accent is nice but I dislike him as a person... it is fun to steal his throne though :D
If Maven wasn't essential she'd be long dead by now ><

I dislike both sides as well. If only there was a side that could directly oppose against the Thalmor instead of battling each other. >_> And...does signing the treaty mean that there won't be any more battles between the two sides for the rest of the game? Or could one break the treaty and continue to war? I haven't gotten that far with the main questline and civil war questline yet.

I like shooting Maven over and over and knocking her flat, love how one-hit-KOs makes them instantly forget who it was that had shot them down. xD

Well I think the treaty was for just until the dragons are dealt with. After that, I think they go back to their usual killing each other thing. Not entirely sure though.
I think it was actually quite good that both sides had faults and that it wasn't the "good" side and the "bad" side you had to choose from. Because qutie often in wars like that, you don't properly support either of them.

Hmm...I'll have to check up on that on the UESP wiki later. :XD

@Roze: True, but it's because of that that I don't really like this game as much as I like Morrowind and Oblivion. It actually made me dislike the game somewhat, because the largest questlines in the game have so much stuff in it that so repulses me. Doing the quests were not fun...well, okay, the quests themselves were fine, but having to listen to the conversations in between is like a mental battle between 'listen to them while badly scowling' or 'shoot/hack/slash/blast them flat, @(*^$&#$ people...' :(

Hubby hated Oblivion. I still don't understand why. I liked Oblivion better because the stealth class was way awesomer.

I think I will always prefer Morrowind. There's so much more choice with weapons because you can use throwing knives and spears etc... the atmosphere and setting is absolutely amazing and there are so many funny random things you can find if you explore. Like the Boots of Blinding Speed, and the guy who randomly falls out of the sky in front of you.
That said, I did like the new aspects that were introduced in Skyrim and Oblivion, like horse riding and blacksmithing. The fast travel... I'd like to say that it is unnecessary and takes all the adventure out of the game but I'd feel like a hypocrite because I use it all the time ^^;

If I could use spells while on horseback in Skyrim, I probably wouldn't use fast travel nearly as much.

I get too nervous riding a horse because if the horse dies fighting a dragon then I feel so unbelievably guilty. So I try to walk most of the time :XD

I don't remember much about Morrowind anymore, though I'll probably reinstall it into my new computer some time later to play around with it. :) I like how the guy randomly fell out of the sky though, that was fun. :XD

I like Oblivion and Skyrim in that you could customize your character more, and fast traveling. Walking/running in Morrowind takes forever. I ended up using console codes most of the time to teleport myself to cities just to be able to get a quest done faster because I was sick and tired of walking through whistling winds and nothing but ashlands to stare at. Oh, and damn those annoying Cliffracers that won't stop appearing! There should be a mod somewhere to get rid of them though, so there's that. Haven't come across the Boots of Blinding Speed before, but I'll make sure to get those the next time I play Morrowind, they sound like fun. :XD

Horses are okay, but I prefer just running/sprinting. Mostly because you can't fight while on horseback, and I run into animals/bandits all the time. My mode of traveling in Skyrim while in the wilderness mostly consists of me with my bow out, in sneak mode, and continuously rolling myself forward while in first-person mode (because if not you don't get the 'continuous' part while rolling). If my character were a real person, he'd be very very dizzy indeed and likely in a mood to murder me for making him do that everywhere (including rolling up stairs).

I liked that instead of fast travelling you could use public transport. I think I must've spent a fortune on the Silt Striders
I will admit though that the cliff racers were extremely annoying and I was very thankful that they weren't in Oblivion or Skyrim. The Boots of Blinding Speed are great fun, so long as you can find something to give you enough magic resistance to avoid being blinded :XD
To travel in Skyrim I mostly sprint and use the Whirlwind Sprint shout. I just can't handle the guilt of letting my horse die...

I don't think I've ever used the Silt Striders before. :O I rarely ever spend gold on anything except for buying houses and house decorations. And it's thanks to that I probably have several million gold on me right now...which is hilarious if you think about it, some weird adventurer/Dohvakiin wandering around lugging a gigantic sack of gold larger than him/herself behind him/her everywhere...

Hm, speaking of horses, I think Frost is my current horse. Shadowmere had disappeared somewhere and I haven't been able to find him ever since. :( I teleport around too much with the console...is there any way to let the horse 'park' somewhere and not fast travel along with the character? So I'll always know where to find them? I keep losing them! :gonk:

Well usually whenever I fast travel anywhere my horse appears there, so I've never had that problem before... what has happened to me though is I tell my companion not to move because there are traps or I want to sneak or something like that, then I forget I did that, go off without him, then have to remember where I left him. ^^
I haven't completely lost him yet, but I've come close a few times.

I do sometimes wonder at the amount you can carry around with you. I'm always complaining that we can't carry enough when I get overloaded (which is often because I think I have OCD when it comes to looting) but it's surprising the sort of stuff you can carry around with you everywhere...

Hmm...what about when you have multiple horses? :c

As for companions...I never travel with any if I can help it. They're more liabilities than of any help...I wanted to tear my hair out during the quest Alduin's Wall...And shoot Delphine and Esbern. I told them to wait. Did they listen? Noooo...they just had to charge head-on into a giant camp of Forsworn plus one Hagraven and one dragon. *facepalm* I was finally fed up and just used the console codes to toggle their AI off, effectively freezing them in place until I'd cleared out the area before unfreezing them. Idiots. I'm an bows-and-arrows-type of character, not some muscle-y sword/axe/hammer type that charge into battle without a second thought...*grumbles*

lmao! Yeah...I use God Mode because of all the stuff I carry around. I'm constantly selling what I don't need to merchants whenever I'm in a town, but I'm currently still more than 3000+ the maximum carrying weight. I sometimes just wonder where all that weight is coming from considering I've kept my Weapons and Apparel inventory relatively clean...well, okay, I have a shit ton of stuff in my Apparels inventory, but they're mostly jewelry and clothes and not armor. So I'm guessing it must be all the Ingredients, Foods, and Ore/Ingots I'm carrying. I think I have something like 300+ Dwarven Ingots from all the Dwemer stuff I've pillaged. xDDD (of which more will come soon enough, as I'm currently exploring Blackreach...)

I hope there'll be a 'The Box' mod released soon like in Oblivion...heavens know I really need a place to store everything. I've dumped a good portion of them in Breezhome (where Farkas likes to disappear from all the time at night, no idea where he's going as he's not sleeping at home nor at Jorrvaskr...), but I'm still overloaded. ^^;;

I just wish that the chest inventory was linked like it is in Reckoning. I hate going to multiple houses to get what I need for different activities, even when I do my best to sort decently (like all of my blacksmith stuff is in Whiterun because that house is next to the smithy).
