When I get my own computer setup again, I eat next to the computer again. Always done it and never had an accident because I put food and drinks on a separate table.

my problem is usually crumbs. but I needed to eat out there. my dad had bought the pizza, mom had just come home from work, and I enjoy hanging out with my son ... that is when he's not trying to distract me from Mene and you guys! :XD

I did this online thing that tells you what color you should wear for the first of the year because it will bring you luck. turns out mine is blue. I looked at myself and I was already wearing a blue shirt, blue sweater, and blue jeans. how weird is that?

The key is eat next to your computer area and not to hold food over your keyboard. Still if you are going to hold pizza pieces to eat them, I'd eat that away from a computer too. Too much risk of greasy fingers.

yes, greasy fingers are no good on a keyboard. I know that one well from the past. also, neither is spilling any sort of sticky liquid.

Unless you get one of those fancy keyboards that lets liquid through without messing up the keys.

I had more issues with hair and dust in my keyboard then I ever had with crumbs when I cleaned it. I have no idea how my hair would get into my keyboard. Now that my hair is short, that is going to happen less often since I have less hair to "shed".

mine was always dust and crumbs. it could even be a new keyboard I have never eaten around and it would still have crumbs in it! I have no idea how that is even POSSIBLE!

----------

you know what really amazes me? these people that say they are die hard fans of a particular band and when you ask them what their favorite song or concert was and they name some band you have never even heard of. then how can you claim to be the super amazing die hard fan of the band in question?

Yep, it's a good place for him to lay down. Much more sensable then saying laying on the desk draped over a mac mini.

my kitties also enjoy taking turns sleeping on top of the aquarium. not because they are interested in the fish, just because that hutch lid gets warm from the lights.

Some peoples' cats break lids jumping on aquariums. Presumably for that "tasty" fish water.

yeah, I had a friend who's cat pretended he was just up there for the water ... until she came back from the kitchen after fixing her daughter's dinner plate and noticed no cat and 1 less fish.

I have noticed that I start many posts with "yeah" ... I need to stop doing that.
