So now that I'm officially a trainer, I need to find some pokemon. I'm going to assume that I shouldn't wait for any specific ones and just try at what comes up? I mean I would like to see some bugs, hopefully a Paras or Joltik :3

I want an Eeveelution! :3 But then again, all of these Pokemon are blobular and adorable in their own right, so catching anything would be fine by me. :yes:

I think bugs are better than everyone makes them out to be, they definitely take strategy to be good but a one two Venonat Spore/ Parasect Hammer Claw(Iron tail) wins every time.

I think Joltik is really cute...? QwQ

I've been on the past couple days but have not gotten a Pokemon yet.
Hoping today will be more lucky.

I honestly was one to underestimate bug pokemon, until I saw they had a bug specialist in the elite four.
That's pretty boss.

I thought they were cool. I liked Caterpie when I first saw him.

o.o I don't underestimate bug Pokemon. I just think some of them are scary. xD

I found them cute, but lacking when it came to battling.
Like, I have never taken a bug type with me to battle the elite four.

/dilemma

Usually I bring my Eeveelution party with me to the Elite Four, unless I'm starting a new game before bringing them over from my older games. When I first battle the Elite Four, I usually just have my starter, my bird Pokemon with Fly, my Water Pokemon with Surf/Waterfall, and some other Pokemon that I found along the way and liked.

I Beat trhe origonal elite 4 with an all bug team. They can bne beasts if you use tms and swap them mid battle. I am just so super excite for joltik and galvantula, bugs biggest weakness was birds/flying and finally a bug/electric!!

... I just take whatever I catch along the way. If it doesn't work, I go and grind more. xD

@LongCat: Yes! I want to get a Galvaltula too! I consider it for my party. :yes:

And that's pretty much what I do a Grass type (which is my starter), My second in command bird, my surfer, and what ever else is necessary.

I'm thinking about using abomasnow for the elite for. Wood hammer is a good move, but the recoil is a b-word.

Lol, it's alright, I know I've been there.
And I may have to try training up some bugs. I was thinking about using a Vespiqueen in the elite four. I think it's half Psychic, but it might be flying, so I've got to check.

I used to just pick my favorite pokemon/the ones that I'd bonded with most, but I'm trying the strategizing thing, although I might be over thinking it.

I just make up a party of the Pokemon I like best from each of the games.

If I had all the games my dream team would be Parasect, venamoth, vespiquen, Galvantula, Forretress, shedinja, and then a toss up between Kriketune and Volcarona. Yeah bugs!

I've become a bit of a wuss. I should really just trust my team, but at the same time, I don't want to loose.

I'm not a trainer but im curious how to make Leafeon or Glaceon from Eevee. I remember that eevee need get lv in a special place but how to evolue it in this event?

Doesn't Leafeon just require the leaf stone, and Glaceon the nevermeltice item?

Yeah, bringing it somewhere was in Generation 4, I think. You'd bring an Eevee to a certain map with a certain rock present and level it once. :yes:

Although I do wonder how they suddenly just "discovered" more pokemon. Was it a lack of connection with the other regions?
Because I mean, they have modern automobiles. They've got at least some forms of air travel, and there's radio...
How did they explain that?
