I think every kind. No boyfriend, a friend and a 1/2 which neither are that close to me, no to hang out with.... All I have is my family and while that is great... I just have this sinking feeling.

Awww... *hugs* Poet think having just one friend can be a great thing if it's a good enough friend. Poet only has 1 friend. While poet understands it gets sad being lonely, poet just tries to remember that poet has a wonderful friend.

I mean the one I have is nice but we have only hung out twice and that was it. She is very nice though.

Personally I don't think it is. Not that part at least. Sometimes I feel lonely and sometimes I feel depressed, but they feel very different to me.

I get to feeling like that too. I only have one really good friend & she lives over an hour away. We try to met up at least once a month & do something together. Sometimes it is going shopping, or sitting in Books-a-million, or just wasting the day away on our laptops at Dairy Queen.
My husband & I don't really have any friends that we hang out with, just my one friend & my brother. It is sort of sad, but the older I get the less I seem to be able to make friends that I can keep. I think I have been friends with her for gotta be close to 10 years now. Most of the people that I thought were friends have all drifted off in other directions.
There are days that I really feel lonely & sad & it does get me down. That is when I seem to spend more of my time online. I seem to have an easier time making friends online than I do in real life. It still makes me sad when my friends leave the sites I met them on.

Yeah. I'm feeling better than I did last night. I am okay during the day but I guess it is mainly at night when it all hits me. It gets quieter on Mene, everyone in my house is asleep, most of my other friends have gone to bed. It really stinks.

Actually Star and Poet are both right. Star I am on depression medication and am on a fairly good dose of it but I still get depressed every now and then and when I do it's like hitting rock bottom. So you two are both right.

It does get harder to find friends as you get older. I mean it's not like you randomly make friends with people at the register. =( It is easy to make friends in college but I'm taking the year off so here I am.
