Poet has depression as well... but poet wont take medication for it... poet has a healthy alternative of the natural source of the happy chemicals. Well... most of it is healthy...

I hit rock bottom very easily (just a small mess up on mene can spiral me to rock bottom in under an hour for a day or two).

I feel woozy

Lol. We had an anime club and a Japanese club and I met a lot of people that way. We all sat at a table in the cafeteria area everyday.

The only lasting friend I made in college was my husband. Actually I met him at one of the place I worked at the time. He came in & talked some then came to my other job & talked some more a few weeks later. We have pretty much been together ever since.
Like everyone we have our ups & downs, but he is still my best friend.

Anime club is where I met my other friend. The club no longer exist, but we got along so well we kept meeting up after the club died.

Falcon ~ If you are having problems even with the medication you might want to talk to your doctor. It may be time to change the medicine you are on or change to dosage.

Yeah, it is a shame when the clubs die.

I actually already have talked to my doctor and am doing much much better, I just get depressed every now and then.

I hated when the anime club died. My husband & I tried to keep it going.
Ours started at Media Play & after they closed we took over & we got the local Walden books to give up a place to meet.
Then they closed, but by the time they had closed we had been keeping it going for about 3 more years. It was hard to keep people interested when you don't have a real sponsor for a club. Walden never provided anything for us to watch like Media Play did. We brought in all the anime for us to watch unless we could talk someone else into bringing something. That d idn't happen often, we did see a live action Sailor Moon that way (yuck). We kept it going until there were only 4 of us showing up to most of the meetings, that was me, my husband, my brother & my friend. Now we don't worry about club meetings anymore & just get together when we decide we want to do something & we have time to get together. We do have one other member of the club who gets in touch with us ever so often & wants to watch some anime, but we only see him two or three times a year. I guess I would consider him a friend, but we see him so little it isn't like a close friendship.

Yeah, that's weird. What my anime club did wasn't so great. The officers went home torrented the first five episodes of a series and then played them on a projector in one of the... I can't think of the name for the room. It's not a theater room but yeah... that's what they did.

The Japanese club at my college is a bunch of weaboos and wannabe losers... no offense... but they were embarassing to interact with. All they knew about Japan was from anime and tv dramas =.=

Well every club is going to have a few of those.

No... that club was full of them... nobody else wanted to go there because there were like 15 weaboos in it... it was a sad sight...

Yup.. sadly... it was a very sad day to see the state of it. None of them could even speak the language properly...
Just ate pocky and watched Japanese stuff all day.

I liked the class a lot better. My teacher had a much more enjoyable environment for the culture.

Well we had a Japanese club too so that separated the two.

I prefered talking to actual Japanese people than weaboos honestly... it's really hard to enjoy a conversation when someone butchers every word...
