kurobizzle's Profiles:
Takara, the Beastly Tomboy
SPOILERX
Name: Takara Urameshi Age: 16 Personality: At first glance, Takara seems like a cool teen that has a love for coffee. She’s kind and respectful to mostly everyone (the only exception is her father) and incredibly charismatic. However, she has inherited her father’s hot temper and mother’s sense of right and wrong, so once her buttons are pushed (which is often) all hell breaks loose. She won’t hesitate to punch a person’s lights out regardless of gender, age, or title. To her, everyone is created equal, so everyone equally has a chance to face her justice-fueled wrath. Takara is also very loyal. Appearance: Weapon/Powers: She uses spiritual energy like her father, but her primary weapons are Spirit Claws. She can also use Spirit Gun and Spirit Wave, but only in dire situations. Parents: Yusuke & Keiko Bio: Though she is the only daughter, Takara was never spoiled because of her family’s unorthodox lifestyle. She had always known about the Spiritual World and Demon World because of her father’s second job. Also, every weekend ever since she was a child, she would be trained in fighting and using spiritual energy. And because of her parents’ close network of friends/team, she always saw the other Spirit Detectives on a daily basis.
Hideki, the Botanical Punk
SPOILERX
Name: Hideki Minamino Age: 16 Personality: Hideki is a calm and intelligent young man who enjoys dressing up like a punk. He enjoys confusing people with his actions and almost always keeps a straight, serious face in everything he does, whether he’s in battle, playing tea party with his younger sisters, or getting a new tattoo. The only time his cool exterior is cracked is when his family and friends are in danger. Hideki is also honest, almost to a fault and never holds any punches when telling people the truth. Appearance: Weapon/Powers: He has powers of plants like his father, but uses them more as weapons. His favorite is the Bamboo Spear. Also trained in kung fu, thanks to his mother’s teachings. Parents: Shuuichi (Kurama) & Mei Xiu Bio: The oldest child of the Minamino family, Hideki is not only half-Japanese and half-Chinese; he is also half-fox demon and half-human. He has two much younger sisters (three and five years old). Hideki was not only trained by his father but also his mother, a former demon hunter. Though extremely intelligent, he refuses to go to a private high school so as to stay close to his best friends at the local public high school.
Daisuke, the Moronic Knife-Wielder
SPOILERX
Name: Daisuke Kuwabara Age: 15 Personality: If Daisuke could be described in one word, it would be 'idiot'. Although he's pretty smart academic wise, he lacks common sense. He's cheerfully ignorant and is slow in picking up the atmosphere around him. He is also the object of his friends' teasing and either laughs it off or argues back without any ill intent. Though he is usually underestimated by everyone around him, he works the hardest in anything he does for the sake of his friends and family. Appearance: Weapon/Powers: He has a high spirit sense like his father and can harness his spirit energy to create Spirit Daggers. The only ice magic Daisuke can use is freezing people he is making contact with. Parents: Kazuma & Yukina Bio: The only child awaiting for the birth of his twin siblings. The youngest of the group, he's always had to work the hardest to keep up. He is caring of his mother and understands whenever she had to leave when he was younger. Because of his mother's trips back to her icy home, Daisuke is very close to his dad. He has to take care of the house and cook meals since his dad's incompetent in those areas. This might be why he excels so much in Home Economics.

Name: Mistral Age: 16 Personality: Mistral isn't very trusting of people he doesn't know, though he is fiercely loyal to those he holds dear. Not very talkative, put him on stage beside his mother and he'll quite happily belt out tunes to a stadium full of people. Appearance:Mistral Weapon/Powers: Much like his father, Mistral uses ice to his advantage. Not built for physical attacks, he prefers to attack from afar, his weapons of choice are Kunai made of ice. Of course, he's also inherited his mothers vocal abilities and has been known to sing lullabys to lull his opponents to sleep. Parents: Touya x Siren (a demon songstress) Bio: Mistral is an only child and trained daily with his father from a young age. Though at his mothers behest, he also has daily lessons with a private tutor after constantly refusing to go to a human school. A smart lad, Mistral is the sort to stand back and observe rather than jumping in head first and thinking about the consequences later on. Spends most of his free time with Mellony.
Mellony, the Flaming Berserker
SPOILERX
Name: Mellony Age: 16 Personality: Mellony tries to keep herself as calm and collected as she possibly can, though it is very easy to annoy her and have her lose her temper. As such, the only time she'll venture out of her home is with Mistral. Appearance:Mellony Weapon/Powers: She has light speed and is able to leave behind an after image of herself. She can also use fire attacks similar to her father and she has some psychic abilities like her mother. While trained with a sword, she prefers using her fists. Parents: Hiei x Mukuro Bio: Mellony is an only child and while she inherited her looks from her mother, unfortunately she inherited her fathers temper. Growing up, she was trained by both parents, though neither of them seemed to be capable of controlling her once her temper had gotten out of control. The angrier she became, the stronger her attacks would grow. In her 'berserker' like state, anyone and everyone would be in her line of fire. Until she started training with her fathers friends and their children. Mistral pushed her too far and she lost her temper, had he not acted quickly and sung her a lullaby, it was very likely he'd have been killed. From that day on, the two were almost inseperable and Mistrals songs are the only thing able to calm Mellony down.

The seconds ticked away much too slowly for Takara as she intensely watched the clock hanging right above the blackboard. She knew she should have been listening to the lecture, but it was almost the weekend. And this week of school had been so stressful, she just wanted to get out of that bland building as quickly as possible. Tired of the clock, the black-haired girl glanced behind her back to see her best friend, Hideki, watching the teacher. Any other person would have thought he was listening, but she knew him better. He was tuning out the middle-aged sensei just like she was. That's when he saw him start to put his pencil back in its case. What the...?
Suddenly the school bell rang, startling Takara. She spun back around to see everyone standing up to leave and rushed to get everything on her desk into her bag.
Hideki stood up from his desk and stretched. Damn, he was in that chair for far too long. He grabbed his bag and walked over to Takara's desk. The red-head patiently waited as the girl stuffed everything into her backpack. He spoke once she zipped her bag shut.
"Ready to go?"
"Ready." Takara stood up and the two started for the door. They weaved expertly through the crowded hallway filled with students excited for the weekend, making it to the stairs in a matter of seconds.
"Dai better be there, we can't be late for this." The black-haired girl mumbled while checking her phone for the time. Hideki simply nodded silently as they got to the first floor and turned the corner. There standing near the shoe lockers was a familiar orange-haired boy whistling to himself. He brightened when he saw the two older teens.
"Sup?" He greeted cheerfully.
"Amazing, you're here on time." Hideki stated thoughtfully.
"Course not, I didn't get detention this time." Daisuke replied as the three walked out of the school.
"Good job squirt, now we won't get killed." Takara said as she ruffled the younger one's hair, "Now let's hurry. I don't wanna keep Mistral and Mellony waiting."
Today was the day Mistral had not been looking forward to. After a fond farewell and kissing her son on the forehead in the early hours of the morning, Siren left to start her latest tour. Even after sixteen years of tours and performances across both demon and human world, Mistral still had trouble saying goodbye to his mother. So what if he was a bit of a momma's boy? It would be a month now before he was able to see her again and it was that thought that kept him awake most of the night.
With the departure of Siren, the house was quiet and it would take a few days for both Mistral and his father to adjust to the silence. Atleast there were no lessons for him today, though the same could not be said for his friends, unfortunately. With little else to do and not wanting to be on his own, Toya dragged his son along to visit Jin, who was always pleased to see them.
Time dragged and Mistral almost jumped for joy when noticing the time. Mellony should be done with her lessons now! That would take his mind off things for a bit.
Mellony enjoyed lessons with her parents, it was a relaxed atmosphere and she didn't have to compete with anyone else. Both parents were adamant that their daughter would never attend a human school, not even after she'd befriended the other detectives children. It wasn't for Mellony's best interests either, as amusing as it would be, they simply didn't want her temper boiling to the point she brought down the entire school.
Todays lessons had been taken outside, both she and her mother lay out in the gardens, a book of complex maths equations open before them. Hiei was never too far away, the short demon perched in a nearby tree watching over his wife and daughter as he always did.
In the early hours of the afternoon, Mellony finished the last problem in her notebook and finally dropped her pencil onto the math covered page. Once Mukuro had checked each problem to make sure they were right, the lesson came to an end and the two finally got up. Mukuro returned inside, Hiei not far behind. Mellony on the other hand, she was soon greeted by Mistral and dragged off to the human world.
Linking her arm with his, the two of them walked through the town, stopping to peer into shop windows every now and then. Some of the things these humans sold were amusing, in her eyes atleast. But it wasn't these items that eventually caught her attention. Mellony rested her head on the males shoulder as they walked, looking up to him as best she could.
"Missing your mother?"
Mistral looked down to her and gave a slight nod of his head.
"She'll be back before you know it. Besides, you can call her whenever you want."
Daisuke walked energetically down the crowded street ahead of his friends. He didn't know why they weren't as excited as he was. It was the weekend for Kami's sake! And it would be a weekend spent with the entire group this time. He hadn't seen the two demon kids in quite a...
The younger teen stopped in his tracks and looked up. He felt something weird around him, something that felt really wrong. Maybe, if he concentrated hard enough, he could pinpoint who, or what, was the cause of the eerie aura.
Takara shook her head as the youngest member of the group had run off on his own, disappearing into the crowd. "That idiot's so impatient." She mumbled under her breath.
"That's just who he is. Remember when we were kids?" Hideki asked as he popped a stick of gum into his mouth. He offered one to his friend.
"I'd rather not." The black haired girl groaned while accepting a piece of gum. Childhood memories that consisted of Daisuke always gave her a headache. As Takara was about to pop the gum in her mouth, she noticed the hyperactive moron was spacing out in the middle of the busy sidewalk. She walked closer to him to give a stern lecture about blocking other people's ways, but noticed the look on his face.
Hideki had noticed the change in Daisuke sooner than Takara and raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?" He asked the younger boy.
Daisuke snapped out of his concentration and turned to his worried older friends. "Uh, I dunno actually." He confessed sheepishly, "I thought there was some weird aura around but I can't sense it anymore."
"Maybe it was just your imagination." The red head suggested, a bit relieved that nothing was really wrong and that it was just Daisuke being himself.
"Maybe..." The orange haired boy looked around, hoping to maybe catch a glimpse of what he was trying to sense. Instead, he locked on to something even better.
"Mistral! Mellony!" He called out excitedly, a wide grin appearing on his face. Before Takara and Hideki knew it, the younger teen has bounded up to the demons and squeezed his way in between them.
"Uh oh, he's making physical contact." Hideki pointed out with a small smile.
"Let's hope they kick his ass." Takara replied, sick of her friend's bipolar nature.
Mellony didn't like seeing her friend down like this, she was about to suggest they go and find a bakery as they both enjoyed the pastries these humans made, but never got the chance. An all too familiar voice called their names and then proceeded to force his way between them both, cutting the conversation they were having dead.
Mistral frowned as his arm was torn from Mellony's, though upon seeing just who was responsible, the male could only shake his head and look up to the taller male. "You know, Daisuke, if you were that desperate to have me to yourself, all you needed to do was ask." Forgetting all about his mothers absence, the male decided to have a bit of fun with his friend and linked his arm with the males, ignoring all the strange looks passersby were now giving them.
"Hey, don't you know it's rude not to share?"
Mistral let out an audible, playful sigh and looked to Mellony. "Fine, I'll share with you. I get his left arm, you get his right."
Mellony grinned and linked her left arm with Daisuke's right. "Much better." She said, now glancing over her shoulders, assuming the others wouldn't be too far behind. Sure enough.. there they were. "Sorry guys, you were too slow, he's ours now."
