This is another very simple avatar, but look at the impact going monochrome gives it. If this was colour it wouldn't have anywhere near as much pop. Probably because the colour would make it too much.

Look at that facial expression He looks super happy, and just a little bit mental Looking forward to getting in there and slicing and dicing D:
