People think a lot of things I eat are weird. I don't eat meat and I eat a lot of Indian food. I tell people what I make and sometimes I get odd looks.

I think the "weirdest" thing I ate was guinea pig. It's not weird to eat it in South America but mention it in the US and people get all weirded out. It's actually pretty good and tastes like really tender chicken. I also ate Rock Mountain Oysters before. I didn't know what they were but they were still good. I gave some to my sister and didn't tell her they were buffalo testicles until she finished them. She was not too happy. XD

And if you count snails, octopus, eel, and alligator as weird then I ate those as well.

The strangest thing I've eaten, would have to be sushi, I just don't know vary many people who would go out of their way to eat raw fish. From what I have understood you can have it raw, half baked, or crunchy, but I am sure there are probably other variations on that. After all my experience with this wonderful food, is vary limited.

Dried squid taste hella good to me. Though I'm use to eating it, since my parents always buy them, even when I was little. Though I am open to try new food, I won't eat feet. Anything feet looks gross to me. I mean, when I was little I use to eat duck egg. The duck embryo was in there and everything. You eat it, the head is crushed between your teeth. >>; I now only eat the yolk. I was little when I ate it and I wouldn't say I don't regret it, I'm quite sad that I ate something I didn't fully understand. My parents just said "it's good for ya" and I just ate it, not knowing it was alive thing before they boiled it. Dx Which comes to the subject of, my mom is cooking chicken feet and it has been long since I've seen her cook it. xD My sister whined to eat some and now my mom is cooking some. I'm not eating it though. Dx

I actually love fresh sushi lol. I don't get it very often but I'd never pass up an opportunity to eat it lol. I was like that before I tried it, "Raw fish? EW!" but after I tried the salmon sushi I was in love with it. lol. Thanks for sharing!

I'll try feet, but they aren't high on my list of "things I REALLY want to try" lol. Pigs feet wasn't a great taste to me. I never tried chicken feet. I've heard of eggs being fixed like that but never have tried it.

Sometimes it's good to not know what you are eating I guess lol. So before you knew what it was, how did it taste if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for sharing!

I don't remember what my feelings where about shushi, the first time that I had it. But, I am glade that I did try it. ^_^ Yummy!

To be honest with yall i have never seen the Rocky horror movie... thingy... so i wouldn't know who i would be lol.
But going back to the food. Yes i know sounds like a fat booty. but I love me some cow tounge... have you tried mexican food? like Menudo and posole.... Have you ever had Snake? or even Rabbit? I have always wanted to go to china and have those live/dead cocaroches or even scorpinas.... but thats just me lol

haha, a lot of other countries eat insects. I'd rather squish em than eat em!! XDD

I know the only food that really disgusts me, is dog... I couldn't never eat a dog, i don't care if you offered me a million dollars... that's just sick, and wrong!! I'm not even as offended that some people eat monkey brains (yes, I find it sad how they acquire said brains, poor little things) but it's less gross than eating Fido. haha

I have tried sushi before as well, it was actually okay, not my favorite but not bad. That's probably the weirdest thing I've ever eaten though. If there is anything more strange, my mind has blocked it out!! lol

I love California rolls, they are my favorite sushi, course the kind with the salmon ontop is pretty good too.

It was actually on a buffet on a ship I was on when I was traveling through the Galapagos. It was served like a piece of BBQ chicken. I guess after that the teachers on the boat were upset by the fact that they served guinea pig and didn't tell us when down there it's not a big deal. I guess it's common to roast it from what I was told.

I used to get the "oysters" fried when I ate them. They were a bit chew, kinda like squid, if I remember correctly. It's been almost 8 years since I ate meat of any kind. XD But I'd recommend them fried.

Escargot I wasn't too big on. It was just nasty but I wasn't too into the idea of eating something that eats poop off the floor anyway.
