you put it on and then send the item back. as long as you dont take it off, ever, you will have it forever without owning it. i did that for my entry for project mene, hummy let me ghost some items from her.

For a CI - all you have to do is equip the katana and then send the item back to BSW. It will stay on your avvie even though you sent it back until you press it to unequip it.

Mene isn't the only site that has ghosting, but I like the fact that it's more open.
