that is exactally what happened to me, Amelia.
every time i posted i got a rudish response.
like, 'we do it this way and if you don't like it, go back to gaia!'
i didn't come back for years either.
jellysundae's emails about the events got me to come back,
after like three attempts at trying to remember my password.

I know. and then a little after I came back my computer broke and I didn't get a new one for moooonths. xD

Edit: hummy, I first joined back in like 07 so I don't think it helped that it was also a very small community, so it did seem kind of 'dead.'

Plus, they had rules coming out the wazoo about where to put what and it intimidated the heck outta me so I just said nevermind to the whole site. xD
