Livin, So I am totally butting in on your conversation with Rose but it sounds like you are a surrogate for a gay couple, but how did you become a surrogate for this couple? Do you know them personally or how?

Sorry if I am being rude, but I am curious, and how is it done? are either one of them a biological father or what?

If I am being too rude you don't need to tell me but I am curious about things like this.

Where I go there is several different dentists so I don't know if I always get the same one to do my fillings or now but they always try to be nice. Except the person that I seem to get for cleanings >.>" she doesn't like me :(

dessert: I don't mind you asking. Yeah, I am a surrogate for a gay couple. Jon, one of the guys, used to be my twin brother's boyfriend (longish story there - that doesn't have a totally happy ending). And I recently - well a year ago almost - I got back in contact with him.

We have a specialist who helped us through the process. And I'm not exactly sure which one is the biological father, I think Jon is... Yeah, pretty sure it's Jon. But my memory is rubbish right now.

Livi: Do you get funding throughout your surrogacy?

I have a hard time trusting dentists :x they're too eager to give you a root canal in my area and I got jerked around a lot once because of that.

I once used to see this really really really mean lady for fillings. It turns out she was also "making up" new "cavities" to drill more holes in my teeth for money money. :c

Gm: I know that when I was pregnant with Becca - we had names picked out for both Guy (David Oliver), and then girl (Rebecca Carlina) - both in honor my late twin. But I've also met some people who won't name the child till after s/he is born.

Spunky: Not in the sense that some surrogates are - but the boys are paying for everything, but I'm not getting money. If that makes sense?

I'm also convinced they pay the cleaning ladies based on how much they nag you about your teeth :3

lol the dentist i was talking to seemed kinda eager about it too >.>' i guess it wasn't my imagination but they were like if you experience pain contact us and we can talk about a root canal to get rid of your pain >.>" but I am fine since the Novocaine wore off so I just brushed it off >.>"

In my case the reality was that they bruised my gum while doing a filling :x

Does it ever seem like they keep on changing their mind on how often they want you to brush/floss? they go from brushing 3x a day and flossing once a week to brushing after every time you eat and flossing at least once a day... so annoying!

Spunky: It's because we're not going through an agency - but they're determined to help me as much as they can. I've got 3 men doing my bidding this time around.

Ouch! I think i bit my tongue sometime after the filling before the novacaine wore off cause now my tongue is sore xD

I could see that. Around here almost everyone has names picked out in advance cause they'll be asked dozens of times in a day once they are pregnant (all small towns). Also lovely name for your daughter.

I swear, they've started stocking up on it at their house, so they can run it over whenever I need some so they don't have to stress about shops being closed.

Gm: Oh, we knew what Becca's name would be (thanks by the way), but we didn't tell anyone her name till after she was born.... our response was "That's for us to know and you to stop asking about." Ehhhh.... that was more my answer than Alex's though. Haha! His was "Yes, we have one picked out. But we're not telling anyone."

She kept telling me I had cavities and kept making more and more appointments for me to have more holes drilled into my teeth. My orthodontist finally said, "what are you talking about? your teeth were perfect last time you were here, and now you have 5 more fillings?!"

I think it could also be because they just wanna keep me happy. A happy satisfied Livi usually makes most people's lives easier. :P
