I noticed the question "what's absinthe" so I decided I'd answer: it's a really strong alcohol (the weakest is about 80% proof) and intended to be shot, some of them (depending on what's in them) can have hallucinogenic properties.

I hate absinthe. I've had the black and the green one and they're disgusting. I was recommended to try either the red or the yellow, so I might. They're smoother flavours than the black and green. Red is like cola and yellow is lemon, black and green are rather aniseedy

Ah... I don't drink... never had a sip of beer in my life though I tried some of my parents wine growing up (some... a sip of the taste made me sick)

I drink if I'm going out and have the soul intention of getting drunk. I never drink with meals or anything though. I'm definitely a binge drinker. I get the hangovers from hell to prove it haha. I don't like the taste of alcohol, so I mix it with things to drown it out. xD

Why drink it if it tastes bad?

Because I think it's fun. There are loads of people I met and experiences I've had that I never would have if I didn't drink, and I'm glad I had them. :)

Huh... poet would never be able to do that social drinking stuff to meet people.

What the fuck. I tried searching for a psychiatrist in my area, and there is not a single one listed under my insurance.

I tried calling a company that helps people find help (be it a therapist or what have you) but they told me that because I had insurance, even if they didn't have any psychiatrists listed, "too bad."

I'm having a panic attack and have been on hold with my insurance company for 10 minutes.
