Said lecturer is ridiculous (in the best possible way). Today when he pointed out a pteridyl unit he said it sounded like a dinosaur.
I like this one:

My likely accent? I guess it would sound sort of like an accent to everyone else.

I dunno... Australia right? A former friend I had there always said I had an accent and she didn't so I dunno... it's an accent to me. Poet doesn't show an accent with people. Poet is a vocal mimic...

Yeah, Australia. A lot of movies play up the accent though. It would sound different to people outside of Australia, but the way I speak is pretty similar to the way normal people speak in movies.

The longer I speak for the more and more Northern I get. This is also true for when I'm drinking. Extend ALL of the vowels!

The accent is mostly just "thicker" really as far as I can tell... not really too big of a difference.
Poet's way of talking... typically if they talk around someone long enough they will pick up their whole accent completely o.o
Poet did it with Japanese and startled them...
---------- Post added 10-17-2012 at 08:08 AM ----------
@ Ofi - Haha, I don't see the "rage" of an aussie accent or anything... but I dunno... I'm just grateful if I can understand them...

Someone at a party in Newcastle said they could tell I'd been in Scotland but then the same person passed out at the top of the stairs and someone else he was talking shite so who knows.

My accent depends on who I'm speaking to. If I'm talking to a non-Scottish person I speak slower and enunciate a lot more so they can understand me, but if I'm talking to Scots I speak a lot faster and my accent is more typically Scottish. No-one ever has a clue what I'm on about though because I use so many slang words >.>

Bad ofie! No thinking about my apparent accent.
I tend to slip into random accent when i'm talking though. When i'm talking to my english friend, I spent a long time making fun of him, so I'll occasionally slip into that in the middle of a sentence for a couple of words, then back to normal.
