Any soup with bacon is a win!

Asian chicken soup sounds nice

I prefer lighter broths to heavy soups. ^^;

yes ... and my bacon for my soup I cook first. when it's nice and crispy I take it from the grease and set it aside. then I saute the onions and garlic in the bacon grease until the onions are clear. then I add celery and cook until that is soft. then I dump that into a pot with cut up potatoes. I fill half of the pot with cream and the rest with water. when the soup is almost done, I throw the bacon back in so it stays crunchy!

You're getting my mouth watering! The only thing I've eaten today was some left over French fries from Burger King.

I shall list the ingredients to the soup I made, just because I feel like it. And to test myself to remember..

Potatoes
Butternut Squash
Leak
Red Lentils
Carrots

+ vegetable stock and water + a little bit of salt

all blended together in a smoothie maker!

I've eaten too much today haha, I stopped off for a sausage roll on the way down to Glasgow, then I had some chips and a munch in the car and then got a chippy on the way home xD Scoffasaurous-Rex

The only soup-ish thing I've ever made was stew in a crock pot. Which is not really soup, haha.

I wouldn't eat that Luna ... too many things I don't like on that list ...

crazy: Which don't you like? And since it's all blended together it's really just whatever you put the most of in it, that's what it tastes like! I think it's a pretty good meal to count towards our 5 a day though? ^-^

I wandered into Etsy and got lost in the nice things.

Etsy is so overwhelming, it's like a labyrinth of pretty, quirky things!

I need to actually set up my Etsy shop. I'd mostly be selling decoden and doll jewelry. I do have some normal real-people jewelry, though.

Heh, I've never bought actually anything from Etsy. It would be everything or nothing.

My mum really wants to start some kind of business like that. I don't know what we'd do though. Ebay and other sites like that and etsy are confusingly scary when I think about selling on them..

I know things like Big Cartel are an alternative but you have to pay for anything more than the most basic package.

I'd be more worried about sorting out postage and stuff if anyone did buy the theoretical things I will never make. XD

I need to go run errands and figure out movie plans! (Going to see the new Silent Hill movie -- and pray it's not awful -- later today!) Be back later!

Yeah - the postage and packaging is what I worry about! It's hard to know whether you will get a profit and if all the hard work will be worth it!

A family friend does leatherwork and is displaying some of his stuff in local shops as well as market stalls and making sales through word of mouth while he's getting the web side set up.

squash, leaks, and lentils ... and I'm not a fan of blended up soups ... I HATE tomato soup!
