Heh, I thought we were talking about avatar costumes still. I made a grimdark Rose (Homestuck) avatar a little while ago.


IRL I have stuff I can wear but no plans for Halloween. One of my friends was supposed to be visiting from England this weekend but not everyone is available so she's going to wait.

my son is 12 so we mostly go to whatever school will be doing the haunted house this year. I don't like trick-or-treating. we live just outside of town. there is a cool neighborhood nearby, but by then we are cold and tired and we get better candy from the school and I can trust it. I hate having to dump out his bucket and go over each piece of candy looking for small tears or punctures in the wrappers.

Haha! I'm the opposite. I rushed into making mine this year, because I never have one for the event and end up throwing something together in the last few days of the event. What are you going to make for your Halloween one then? :)

I tell you what though, if we get caught up in a group of people complaining about the haunted house while we are still in it, I'm gonna let loose on them! these two stupid teenage girls were behind us last year and kept going on and on about how lame the haunted house was. okay, my son is young and it totally ruined the experience for him!

Apparently I didn't save a picture of my Rose avatar.
The pink/purple is part of the sash around her waist. I used one of the Saints sashes even though it's around the front. ^^;

Heh, I'm sort of holding off making an avatar in case there's an event competition for avatar costumes. Usually it says in the rules you need to make a new avatar.

I don't enter those contests because I always have so many ideas.

I love the avatar contests. I just get paranoid when the challenge is colour restricted that three pixels of a disallowed colour will be poking out somewhere and get my entry disqualified.

YUM! I have a bowl of my soup! now to wait forever for the potatoes to cool off!
