It's NEVER a good idea to give your real name out...
Only after you've known a person for a long time.

I did give my name to one person here, cuz she seemed really nice and I had a chance to meet her in real life.
It worked out fine.

Poet googles everyone. Poet finds it fun to learn about people. Poet would probably google hummy if poet knew her name too

Granted poet would notify hummy of anything she'd want to pull off the internet too

Hummy should google herself someday... it's amazing how much is on there sometimes it's scary... even home address =/

Most of my stuff is in my maiden name...
So unless you know it, you won't know it's me...

My married name is problematic.
There's another person named exactly the same as me in this town...

It really isn't, but there just happen to be another family here in town with the same name...

Yeah, it's for NaNoWriMo, annnnd, it's a love story through letters. =] Two friends, who were separated like 6 or 7 years ago, I can't quite place the exact number of years - long story, and it's their story. =]
