Love22; I'm sorry you don't get to be around horses nearly enough. I get to be around the alot around where i live. Just about everyone has them. (I live in the super duper heart of the country) ^^ They just scare me cause they are so big I guess.

Ravenous: Awww, I'm jealous of you! And some are big. I once met a pair of Belgians who's noses were almost as big as my head. *lol* But they were so amazingly sweet!

Love;Holy moly! Those are huge!! I know they are gentle giants it just scares me. XD I love everything else about it around here though. I'm getting better around horses but they still make me nervous. :P

I'm trying to find a picture of them to show you. =] They weren't actually quite that big - but they were rather large.
Did you know that when you're nervous around them, they pick up on that nervous energy and that is why most people think they spook them. It's not totally the horses fault. But I do understand being nervous around them.

Lol yea, I knew that. My gf loves horses. She wants to get some to put on our land we have. We've got goats, a cow, and some chickens right now. But I'm scared of donkeys too. lol My cow I was afraid of too for the longest. :P I'm getting better with horses though. :D

And just to give some size comparison - the horses in front aren't minis... those are regular sized 14 to 15 hand Quarter Horses - if I'm remembering correctly

We've got just about 7 acres. Give or take a little. That doesn't include our house/yard/driveway. which sits on a whole acre it's self. :P

By that point, I had been around horses for over 10 years - *laughs* Although I did have a scare when my friend, who was training those two to be riding horses (they were driving horses), had one of them decided to buck her all the way across the arena (huge arena)... she fell off... Yeah, a bit bruised the next day. XD And when he started bucking, he was headed straight for me and my little 14 hh horse. *lol*

Oh, wow! that's a decent amount of land!

I actually have to go for a bit - it's time for dinner and I don't wanna eat around the computer.

^^ Yea my girl's family knew the guy who was selling it and he just said he doesn't want chicken houses on it and we could have it for 90,000 after everything. :] It was a super good deal. He wanted to keep it in the hands of someone who his family trusted. :] 2 story house and everything for 350$ a month mortgage. :] Alot of the land is hills and stuff, but it's probably 3 acres of just flat land. :P We're planting a garden here soon. <3

I don't know what kinda horses she wants to get but she grew up on a big farm so she knows anything and everything it seems about farming/animals. :] I was born and raised in the city. not just a city but a beachside city. XD 15 minute drive from the beach. :P I now live 450 miles away. Haha.

Wow! That's great! Sounds nice! And haha! I was born and raised on the coast near the beach myself - and now I live--- not sure the distance but it's a fair distance -- it's like a 4 hour drive one way to get down there now.
But I love it where we are - because of this move I was able to start riding horses more, because it cost an arm and a leg down there where I used to live to take riding lessons but up here in horse country it didn't cost nearly as much as it would have where I used to live. =]

^^ that's really good. I bet you're enjoying yourself. When I first moved up here it was a really bad culture shock. Cause you could do anything in the city I grew up in. without having to drive 45min-2 hrs away. Such as the movies, put put golf ya know. Stuff to do. It was like there was nothing to do here XD Now i love the fact it's quiet here and there is alot more to do now that I've gotten more accustomed to this life here. <3 I woudln't trade it for the beach ever.

Oh, it was a crazy change when we first moved up here. I didn't really like it at first. But I'm the same - I'd never change it for the world - I love it here. Although I'll be moving into the city - if I get into the school that I get into (I hear back from them next month -- I've been waiting till October to hear from them... I hate waiting! xD LOL!) -- I'll be moving down near LA... I'm from Northern California in the Foothills. I'm rather nervous about the move but the school is the best for my major.

Well I wanted to get My GED and my father felt it was the better option. It's okay about the job and boyfriend. Talking to him makes me feel better. Even though we are far apart I know everything will work out.

As for the job, well I will get one all in due time. I actually bought this dress and it actually looks like it would be good for a date and an interview for a job so maybe I will wear that depending on the what sort of job interview I do when I get one. As for talking, I enjoy talking to people anytime.

I wish you the best of luck hun! I want to go back to school but the closest college is a community college and it doesn't offer anything I want to take. XD I was taking online classes for the basics but now it's time that I need to transfer and it cant be done. D; Too long of a drive and I don't have the means/or ability to move. XD What are you going for?

Thanks! And awww! What do you want to take? Have you at least gotten your GEs done and out of the way? That's always a good thing to do. And that sucks that it's too far a drive! :( I'm going for a B.A. in Deaf Studies. =] I'm pretty fluent in ASL now - and it drives my friends and family crazy. *laughs* I sign all the time!

Thanks. I suppose you could say I dress for success. I want to do something in fashion. I want to be a designer. I know how to sew. I have seen my cousin do it plenty of times. I don't have my own sewing machine yet but I did sew my own pillow when it had a whole which was when I was younger and I'm now 18 and since then it hasn't ripped and it has been thrown and all that jazz.

Love; yeah I got all my basics under my belt and everything. I just don't know what exactly I want to do. I wanted to go after my Marine Biology Degree but there isn't a college outside of my home town that really has a good program. =/ Too far away.

Desire; :D I bet you would be amazing in fashion. :] I love fashion I just have never been that good with a sewing machine or anything like that.

Oh, darn! I am sure that you can figure something out that'll work for you! I used to think I wanted to be a Marine Biology major but then I changed my mind. Lol! Where I am now works better for me anyways. =]

Lol I guess I'm just not sure what else to go into. It's pretty crazy. Lol Right now I'm just focusing on life in general. haha

And focusing on life is always a good thing to do!
Sorry if I seem kinda distracted - I'm working on writing my weekly letters to deployed soldiers, so I don't have to worry about forgetting later in the week.

Yeah, I've been doing it for about four months now through Soldiers' Angels - is that where you do it through too? It's for a great cause. January didn't turn out as good as I'd have liked for writing - I got really sick, and then went on holiday without access to internet. At least my team leaders are understanding. =]
I'm almost done with my second (and last) letter for this week, and I'm also watching NCIS. =]

Sure is! I started it about this time last year. A girl I worked with turned me onto it. I really enjoy doing it. Makes me feel really nice. :] I love NCIS it's one of the best shows out there. I'm watchin Xena. XD

Oh, awesome! I had been meaning to join sooner, but things prevented me from doing it till now, but I am loving it. Nothing like getting letters back - I have gotten one back so far, but it was awesome! =] I do enjoy it too!
NCIS is one of the better American shows out there, definitely! I am a Whovian, and Doctor Who to me tops even NCIS. *laughs* Never thought I'd say that. :P
My 25th Birthday in November is the day of the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who - so I am so excited, I get an eppie of Who on my birthday. *lol* Which makes the craziness with the waiting for episodes till then, kind of worth it.
