Windows scared me with the new Windows 8 I thought they were going to make it like a cell phone with apps. My brother got one and said that they allow you to use old windows version if you don't care for the app look.

Yeah that is what i was looking at my book store, it looks pretty cool, but I am not sure about it.

My brother decided to take the chance he has money to fool around with. He was happy that you can go back to the old windows though~ It's good they are keeping with their loyal fans as well as trying to take some of apple's fans. I would hate if the old windows system was to be thrown out.

I wish I could do planting but sadly I'm not supposed to do my bending or lifting due to my long term illness. I would so be planting peas and onions~!

I've already got some tulips that are almost ready to bloom and i plant some four o'clocks, zinneas, moon flowers, red morning glory, and lots of petunias. I love petunias!

Hmm if anyone looked at my computer right now they would think I am very disturbed individual..... >.>

Can macs run windows programs now? Or is it still impossible to do so?

my goal is to get another mac someday, I really dislike PC, but I can't afford a mac.

I don't know. I do know that I have Word on my Mac, and I have a few programs that I can save in documents that can be read by Windows computers, and are comparable with Word, but if I don't remember to convert Windows users can't read them.

I never really was into games or other big windows related things before (even when I had a Windows laptop). So I can't really tell you.

But I do know that even before I got my Mac... that my parents have always had Word on their Mac and they've had one for years now. Like 10+ years and we've always had word (well we've had for for like 7 or 8 years now I think - can't really remember but it's been quite a few years). *nod*

Plus I find that the people on customer service are so much more helpful and nice! But that may just be me. *laughs* The few times I've called to get help on little things they have been really nice and patient and kind. =] And walking me step by step through whatever needed to be done on my end. =]

Clock: If my parents had not bought me my mac outright with no need to pay them back anything I'd not have been able to afford my Macbook.

and I suck at saving up, because when I have a job,
I'm paying rent, and stuff like that, and I always splurge on tattoos.

Clock: Awww! I don't have a job either! And my parents don't expect me to pay rent while I'm living here - I'm kinda spoiled. Well in the regards of money. I can save up - I sometimes suck at saving. But I did managed to save up enough money for a round trip ticket to Australia on my own, with no help from my parents in one summer. ^_^

Nemo; that is pretty awesome! I'm expected to pay rent, and by my own groceries, plus a few other things, when I'm living at home. So that makes it difficult to save anything, plus school debt, and everything. But hopefully if I get a job soon, I'll at least be able to save something.

Yeah, it's nice not to stress about somewhere to live.
I'll probably be expected to find a job when I move back out to help with paying for where I'll be living at school... I just get stressed so easily with classes, and I don't handle working well on top of that... we'll see how this goes.

llonka: i wish i could plant petunias at my house but they always get eaten so fast.

DD: Is there any way that you can put up some sort of protection around them , under them too - to keep them from getting eaten? Like a fence of sorts?

I have a few fave programs I know mac can't handle. Like my ssp ghosts, winamp, stream ripper..... Ah yeah never getting a mac! *Huggles her rare ssp ghost!* The english name for ssp ghost is Flele. I have a SUPER rar SSP Ghost named Sakurako that no longer exists on the internet~! *Fishes out old desktop image from previous computer.*



The ghost is the little boy and girl standing on the side of the screen. They can talk to you too!

Clock: Just do what you feel is best for you. At least you gave school a try.

My roommate last semester, that was her first semester, and she basically - after about a month - stopped going to classes all together, managed to fail out of all of them and decided that college wasn't for her... She didn't even give it a try! And omg, she was such a slob! D: I felt like yelling at her to grow up and stop acting so childish and immature! *sighs* :(

I like sunflowers too, we haven't bought any this year though. I've planted them since we've been here. I should prolly get some..

I'm not saying that Macs are for everyone. Just saying that they do have ways around some programs. And see, you know that Macs are not for you. That's totally fine! =] I just seem to get along with them WAY better! *nods* I have so many less times of me wanting to fling my computer across the room in frustration since getting her.
