I wish I was better at math - but hopefully *fingers crossed* I'm totally done with all the math I'll ever have to take, ever!

My brother is the maths whiz in my family. He got 100% on an AP Calc test last year.

My highschool never taught to AP standards, I wish they did though. Atleast you have someone to ask for math help if you need it right Nemo?

Aww, I'm not sure if my HS did - I never took any more math in HS above what I had to take. And I don't have any more math classes I need to take. I've gone as far as I need to with my math requirements, and I've got my fingers crossed I've got no more math classes I need to take. I've taken Stats which is the highest requirement for the General Education requirements and I'm pretty sure I don't need anything higher than that to get my BA in Deaf Studies. I'm sure I could find a tutor if I do need to take another math class, I just really do hope that I do not need to, because I really do not like math. >.<

mmm Statistics for me was just about if you knew how to use the formulas correctly and knew what they meant... yours was probably harder then that.

Yeah, I somehow got an A in it, I do not know how I managed that. Not that I remember any of it. xD I took it years ago. XD Just got it done and out of the way and behind me. xDD

Yeah, I'm between schools, I've taken all the classes that I can take at the school I was at without being there for another full year and I don't want that. So I'm transferring with enough classes to transfer but without a degree. (Don't get me started about that - I'm jaded about that, as I'm just freaking ready to have a stupid degree. I feel like people who know me from HS and who already have a degree tend to treat me like I'm stupid or something because I'm almost 25 and don't have a degree yet. ) Anyways, yeah, I'm transferring to finish my 4 year degree at a state college, fingers crossed to hear back from the second school that hasn't gotten back to me yet... and that they'll get back to me soon!

I wish you luck with that, and if it makes you feel any better my brother was 27 when finally got his first degree and he had been going to college since he graduated high school..

Oh, that's how old I'll be when I get my first and probably only degree. *grumbles and sighs* I'm just sick of some people I know making me feel like I'm stupid... it really doesn't help my self esteem for them to do that.

I know Nemo, just tell them you are a not a conformist and were trying to get the degree that you wanted.

I don't know whether this will help, but most people who get a degree right off don't even use it most of their lives. If you take more time to get one, generally you end up with one that's actually useful to you, because you weren't willing to settle with something that wasn't quite right.

Or how about this: I know a guy who graduated from high school in 1985 and is still attending college classes.

Eh, I know that... And my mom at 57 is still in college, but what I'm tired of, is people acting like just because they have a degree and I don't, that they're better than me, that's what pisses me off, if that makes any sense?
