same here. I sound so old cause I have some sort of problem with my knee .__.
Yeah I know but it is the only place I can get away from my "friends". And I like giving out updates on my upcoming stories. Maybe one day I will grab a publisher's attention. [If Only]

Maka,
Have you gotten your knee checked out?.. It sounds like it didn't heal properly.. since it's an old injury and it acting up is kinda scary. :( Knees are needed. Do you wear a knee brace?

I can't go to a doctor because our insurance situation is all messed up. I do not wear a knee brace or anything as it hasn't been checked out at all.
How it does act up is kinda scary as I just had/have a feeling something is wrong with it. But I am kinda stuck as I can't get it checked out because of our insurance.

Maka,
You might have to just go through the urgency care and I know that costs a lot more. But I think it might be worth spending than waiting for your health insurance to get on track.
I know though, money could be an issue or you have a lot other things going on, so saying all this is easier than it being done. Maybe for the time being, you could just have an ice/heat pack when it hurts.

i'm good, Flowery.
i watched a puppie get hit and killed by a car today so i've been kind of crying and sad all day.
i have a soft spot for all animals and to see it up close and personal today, it shocked me.
what was yourr day like?

Oh my god.. oh my god. That's horriblee. ;__; I am so sorry that you saw that. I would be a bit scarred by that. Not a bit, but a lot. That's such an awful thing to witness.
My day, was taking care of my sick mom. She wanted In-N-Out, and I hadn't driven in a while since it's summer but it was all good. I just don't go through drive-thrus cause I'm a bit paranoid when driving in tight spaces. She thought the cause of her migraine was her time of her month, but she thinks she has a fever now.
So I'm a little stressed cause I'm not really a handy-man for her. I can go out and get things but I'm not a dinner-maker. :(

aw, Flowery, you are sosweet.
can i help you fix dinner?
i'm no Chef, but i can cook a bit.
what do y'all have to make?
those little paces make me panic, too.
i like the big drive-thru's.
lots of open spaces to manuver through.
it's nice to see someone take care of someone and not be upset about it.
like, there but for the grace of God, ya know?
it was horrible.
he just zoomed outta no where and the guy next to me hit him.
it was an awful sound.
he didn't even stop.
i turned around and went back.
i thought the puppie had come out of the tow shoppe's house.
bussiness/house is one sorrt of complex.
i went inside sobbing my heart out.
the lady was on the phone crying.
it wasn't even her puppie.
her son came over and got him out of the sstreet so he wouldn't be smooshed.
*sobs some more*

thank you for the advice. I can't really go to any place to get my knee injury checked out. My dad's job doesn't pay him all that well. He is payed by the day instead of the hour. My mother is also in and out of the hospital because of seizures, and because of her MS and we have credit card bills/debt to pay off. And so I don't think we can go anywhere for my knee injury
and I don't want to stress out my family because we are always stressed out[especially since my relatives thought it was a smart idea to sue the hospital when we didn't want to just so they could get money out of it.]
But I will try the heat and ice pack thing when it does start hurting again. It hasn't acted up for a while. I can usually tell when it does so when it does I will get cracking on the heat and ice pack thing. n.n

Well, I made her some chinese salad and all those dark leafy greens are good for her. But uh.. all the ingredients in our fridge are mainly thing she bought to cook dinner for, so I don't really want to mess it up. I just asked her what she feels like but she has no appetite.
So I'm checking up on her now and than.
Ohh, gosh. That's so sad to see. I don't want to defend the man who hit the puppy, but sometimes it's hard to see things run out. Especially it depends on what speed the man was going, and than even if you do see the animal run out; it all depends on quick reflexes. It's really sad, but sometimes it inevitable, just cause you don't want to cause yourself or others' injuries. It is cruel that the man didn't stop especially because it's a dog, and that's someone's pet.
That's so hard to see. I'm glad you did stop, but I can't imagine how gruesome it looked. Especially when its too late or if the puppy was barely alive. Ugh. I'm sorry Hummy. :(

@Maka -
Sorry that I can't really give you great help. I feel really bad though just cause I don't think its fair for you to suffer and go through a joint problem. I'm sure you're already going easy on it, and taking measures for it not to get all hurt and everything. But I think a heat/cool pack will help soothe it and maybe help you out a bit more than taking pain meds. Though I think taking like pain pills is important in case the pack doesn't work.
I hope though you can get the medical attention you need in the long run. :( Do you have any walk in clinics because those actually charge a lot, a lot less and they can give you a simple diagnose on what maybe the problem. I have one in my local drugstore.
I would totally like give up my life for others. XD

that sounds like a good meal.
if she has a favorite anything like pudding or some fruit,
give it to her to get her appetite started.
sometimes it's easier to go without food than eat,
but once your stomach realizes it's hungry she will eat.
i usually eat some yogurt when i know i should eat and don't feel hungry.
usually, a bit later i 'feel' hungry.
i love that you are so compassionate.
that is rare to see.
i worked at a retirement home and saw a lot of people 'parked' there and forgotten.
so, like animal lover's, compassionate people tug at my heart and i bond with them.
*clings to Flowery*
it was awful.
it probably could have been avoided if the important phone call was made while not driving.

i have a penguin heating buddy that you microwave.
i think i got it at wal*mart.
it is great for sore knees,
you can put him under the knee and it gives you a little lift that feels so good.
you can do the same thing with a rolled up hand towel.
i hoe you feel better.

In my town, we don't. Or if we do they charge us anyways. But I will manage for a while longer. It hasn't been bothering me too much. The only time it really acted up was in the beginning of June or the end of may. Somewhere around there. But that was the most recent episodes, since then I haven't had any trouble. But probably it will act up when I least expect it as it usually does.
But for now I can manage with the heat and cold pack. I never really had to take any medication for it. I can bare extreme pains usually. Which is good. And I don't like depending on pain killers or pills in general. I just rather tough it out rather then resulting to taking pain killers.
But don't feel bad, I don't want you to feel bad. You have helped me a lot more then you think. :)

I wanted one of those animal heating pad-like things. But I never got one. I wanted the panda bear one. Its one you can heat up in the microwave too. But for now I just have to use a regular heating bad, or a rolled up wash cloth/hand towel. I feel fine right now as it isn't bothering me, but thank you for your concern. I knew something was wrong with my knee for a while, I just couldn't do anything about it. My relatives kept on saying work it out, like exercise it, but that made it go out more frequently.

YAY! I don't have to get rid of Tippy and Yoda! I told Dad the only reason why I was going to was because SOMEONE (Mom) said we had too many and wanted us to get rid of some. Dad said it was a raw deal to get rid of them because we got a new and cuter kitten. I told him if he didn't care, then I was fine about letting them stay! So, as of right now, they are staying right here and we are gonna work on the outside wild cats finding nice ranches to live at. :D
