"Yeah I guess we should be getting back... and it's Sukiru... why can't you ever remember her name?" Mana asked softly with a slight grin before they started to go back to the house. She was a little surprised that he didn't even try to make a move on her though she supposed he would at some point... right?

Jake chuckled a little bit and shrugged. "Her name is a little confusing and I would hate to get it wrong." He said with another chuckled before lightly taking her hand and beginning to lead them both to the house. "You know, we really should move to a place closer to the next village, that way it wont take ages to walk there."

"I don't really think it's that hard... though that's probably because I'm the one that named her..." Mana said softly then sighed and shook her head. "No... I've told you before, the town doesn't like me... and plus I have dragons that come by here all the time ya know... we can't move the house... the townspeople wouldn't like that at all.. and besides most of the stuff we have here actually comes from the surrounding forest... there's very little that I ever need to go in town to get." she said and you could tell she really didn't like the thought of moving the house at all... mostly because of how people treated her and how they viewed her dragons.

Jake chuckled and nodded. "That and you have been with her since she was just a baby, I've only just met her." He said to her before looking a little down as he heard her reply about the town. "You know... If you ever need something from there I could get it from there... They wouldn't dare try to go against me if they know who I truly am." He said trying to reassure her. "There will be things that I will need from there too, so I may have to go vist it sometime, I am not going to ask you to come along, in fact, I wont allow it. But I just want you to know, I will need to go there for some items."

"Well... I don't really have a problem with going there... it's just moving closer really. No I go there every now and again when I need certain items that I can't make or find in the wild." Mage said softly as they walked though knew at some point she would need to go back into town though just wasn't sure when.

Jake nodded a little bit. "Well then, if you need to, you can come, but soon I will need a new blade, my dagger is almost broke and I need it for if I loose my sword in battle. I am always ready for a fight, I was trained to be." He said to her with a small chuckle. "I will also need a bow and few arrows for when I go out to hunt."

"Well really bows and arrows are pretty easy to make... though I'm not the best at black-smithing..." Mage grinned a bit then noticed that they were about at the house and thought some on what happened then also what she may fix.

Jake chuckled a bit. "Meh, I brought plenty of gold coins with me from my paladin days, I will have more then enough to buy the stuff." He said before looking at the house and smiling a little as he wondered if Sakiru would come out to meet them or if she would wait inside for them.

"Okay but can I at least fix you some bows and arrows? I know how to do that fairly well. Though I do need a few things myself" Mage pondered over this a bit as they walked into the house and soon were there and back inside. "So shall we go after we eat?" she asked softly as she moved around the kitchen tossing things into a pot that she had simmering making sure all ingredients were chopped before doing so.

Jake chuckled a little bit as he thought about it and nodded. "Sure, it would do me some good not having to buy them, that way I can get some gold for more poison to cover the arrows with." He said before they reached the house, once they were inside he stretched a little and sat on the chair nearby the kitchen. "I may need to get my armour buffed a little around the edges too, it is a little tight around the amrs and neck from all the damage."

"Is this the poison you're talking about?" Mana asked as she tossed a vial over to Jake knowing he would catch it easily before she went back to fixing some food. The only reason she had allot of this stuff was because most of it was found in the forest and she sometimes helped the shopkeepers to find it... it's kinda hard to find if you're a human..." she said softly before finishing cooking and brought some of the food over to Jake and sat down to eat as well. It really didn't take long for her to cook and stew wasn't that hard anyway.

Jake caught the poison as it was tossed over to him, he looked at it and studied it a little closer until he was happy it was good enough. "This will do perfectly for killing a large prey." He said slipping it into his small side pouch. "Well so long as we have a never ending supply, then it saves buying poison." He said a he sat down in front of his bowl and licked hid reptilian lips "This seems to look good." He mentioned before licking the food a little to test it. "Tastes nice too."

Mana laughed a little when she saw him lick at the bowl of stew she made for him. "You know I put out spoons for a reason." she laughed lightly then smiled some at him.

Jake chuckled a bit and looked at the spoon and he, oddly enough, pushed the spoon away a little and poked his long tounge out at her. "Dragons don't use spoons. That's why I have a long tongue." He said as he went back to licking it up, he paused for a moment to say. "Also I want to see what it is like to eat this way."

"I swear you can't make up your mind rather you want to be a dragon or not can ya?" Mana laughed before taking a bite of her stew thinking a bit. She didn't care how he acted or what he was... she really liked him... but she just couldn't really bring herself to show him in any other ways then she already had... She had told him that she really liked him a little earlier... and he said he liked her... but... she really wanted to SHOW him that she really liked him.... she didn't want everything to be the same forever.... she was happy that they were friends... but she really wanted to be more then that... but how do you bring something like that up?

The halfling chuckled a little bit as he looked up and shrugged. "Well, the dragon part has its perks, but being human also has them too." He shook his head a little. "But I don't see why I should let being half dragon stop me from having fun... After all, It can really fun sometimes." He said before resuming his eating, dragon style. While he ate, he couldn't help but think about what life held really held for him if he did choose to turn back by finding the reversal spell, he would go back to being who he used to be and would still be feared just as much as he is now.

Mana smiled easily as she watched him eat then finished eating her own food and stood. She walked over to the sink and started on what little dishes they had for the day. she was still thinking on her idea of love... but what use was it? They probably would never be more then friends anyways... why should she even bother? Knowing her luck... she would never find anyone that wanted to be hers... even if they said they liked her.

Jake watched mana stand up and take the dishes to wash, he could tell something bothering her and was a little irritated that she was keeping it to herself, but he shrugged and knew it would be best not to bug on the subject, after all the next day was the day he was planning to try and get his armour fixed up and repaired. "You should get some sleep after the dishes, tomorrow will be another long one."

"I have a few things I need to take care of before I can even think about sleep... don't worry though I'll get some sleep after I'm finished with them and will be fine to wake up tomorrow... you know I don't normally oversleep." Mana said softly sounding like she was kinda out of it thinking more then anything else though knew what she was talking about. She could tell he knew there was something she wouldn't say... but she didn't want to bother him with it it was just probably her over reacting or something... but she did kinda wish that he could figure out what was wrong without her saying anything.... but he wasn't a mindreader.... it was just something she wasn't sure how to bring up.

(well if he can tell something is bothering her why not have him bug her about it? or something along those lines)

((Well, he wants to, but he has never spoken to a female before Mage, so he has no clue on whether to bother her about it))

(I'm sure he's talked to a girl before, there were female warriors and also he couldn't have avioded talking women all his life... and it wouldn't be that hard to tell something was bothering her so all he has to do is bug her about it XP )

Jake sighed a little as he could tell there was a problem with her, he knew this because of how she was acting. "I know something is wrong... So come on, spill the beans." He said while looking at her with his dragonic eyes, he was trying to understand why she would want to hide a problem from him, he thought it was because she didn't trust him enough yet, but then again, it could be anything. "I would have thought you knew by now that if you have a problem then tell me and I will solve it."

Mana looked over to Jake and blushed a little before looking down and back to what she was doing. "Nothing's really... bugging me... but, if you truly want to know.... I've been thinking about what we were talking about earlier...." she said softly her face starting to turn a little red as she spoke and hoped he knew what she was talking about so she didn't have to say it again.
