"The reason why I wouldn't go in is because... well the thief mage is exactly that... he's a master thief of magic... he steals magic from any mage or anything like it near... I would be useless in your quest in that case." mage said softly before looking to Jake's sword then to him. "Do you swear you won't try to kill me if I take the spell off your sword?" she asked softly knowing he would need it but she didn't want him to try and kill her so she was a bit wary of taking the spell off of his sword.

Jake sighed and grumbled at her comment. "Then it is simple, fight with my using a blade, magic is no match for steal." He said with a chuckle as he then shook his head. "It isn't like he is immune to all things. Mage thief or not, he shall pay for his sins and for making me into a monster." He then heard the mage and he looked down to his sword. "Hmm? Oh right! I wont kill you, just as I wont need my sword when I have weapons from mother nature." He said with another chuckle.

"I think you're a little too sure of yourself sometimes...I'll take the spell off your sword anyway so you can fight with it and not get too close... that wouldn't be good... his powers are even stronger up close..." Mage said softly as she broke the spell she put on Jake's sword and handed it to him.

Jake gave a her a evil stare as he listened to her. "More likely that you don't believe in my strength." He replied looking at his sword with a sigh as he took it and put it into the sheath. "It would be easier if I had something for ranged attacks..." He looked to the mage and thought for a second. "If I distract him, you could hit him from behind?"

"I... I can't fight him! A warrior has more of a standing chance against him then I would! Not saying that I'm weak... I just... I can't fight that man! He would kill me with my own magic!" Mage exclaimed though it was a weak argument and she clearly wasn't sure though didn't really think that it would be a good idea for her to even try and fight the thief mage...

Jake let out a sigh again as he shook his head, he was slightly shamed at the mage, when she was fighting him she seemed to be fearless, but now he saw she was scared of one male. "Very well then, I shall fight him alone." he said as he looked to the sky. "Show me where this male resides so I may slay him and get changed back... I can't wait to go home." He said with another sigh. He know what he had to do to be human again and he was determined to see his father again to tell him what he was about to do.

Mage felt a bit bad for not helping Jake but there was nothing she could do... if she helped then she would surely die and the other mage would steal away all of her magic... which that would kill her anyway. She nodded a bit though and lead Jake to the lair of the thief mage... well close to it before stopping and looking at Jake. "This is it... I'm sorry but if I were to go with you then Thief would surely take my magic and use it against you..." she said softly though in the back of her mind she knew that she would probably end up going in to help him at some point anyway... she just wasn't fully sure...

Jake let out a small sigh, he had wished the mage was more of a paladin, he knew she would have been more brave as to come in with him. He nodded a bit as he followed her, it only seemed like a few minutes, but the walk had be longer, it was just the fact he was raring for his revenge. "Don't worry... I have no need for you anyway." He said not looking at her. "I would want you only making him stronger... That would mean you was getting in the way would only result in my killing you myself." She said as he drew his sword and began to walk to the lair, this was it, he entered in and had in clue in what to expect.

(Okay what I was thinking was that maybe he goes in there, fights for awhile, then maybe he actually needs Mage's help but had forgotten about the other mage's powers so when Mage comes in Thief mage like steals most of her powers or something but like it messes him up and either Jake could attack him or Mage's dragon attacks him or something... what do you think?)

(she would be very weakened... meaning that Jake would have to take care of her XD and what are we doing? Are you going to have Jake attack thief mage or Mage's dragon?)

Thief stayed close to the wall as he waited for either the male or Mage to come by. He knew that they had been there for awhile... though he didn't think Mage had came in with Jake... oh well one way or another he would get her in there. He really wasn't too worried about Jake... he could take him easily and he knew it... so why should he really fret about it too much?

Jake slowly moved forward with his sword drawn, he was clutching it in one of his hands, this was one opertunity he wasn't going to give up. "where is he? Why is the master thief mage hiding from me?" He thought while looking around every corner. The further into the lair he snuck, the more he got the feeling that he was being watched from every corner and wall.

"You know it's not polite to come into someones home uninvited correct young warrior? What buisiness do you have here?" Thief's voice could be heard from all around seeming to come from every direction. He wanted to see what Jake wanted before he killed him... or caught him and made him his pet... he had always liked having... odd pets.

Hearing the thief's voice come from all angels, Jake began too look around with his sword up before growing. "You know who I am and I know who you are, therefore, you know exactly why I am here and what my purpose." He replied with another growl. "Now come out and fight me you coward! Let me show you what justice feels like. I promise it wont hurt... For long."

"But why when this is so much more interesting? Watching you look around clueless... huh! That reminds me of that stupid girl out there waiting for you, you should have killed her when you had the chance! Ha ha!" Thief laughed his voice still coming from every direction though he soon came up behind Jake and hit a pressure point in his arm to knock his sword out of his hand before pinning him a bit and smirked as he started to drain a bit of his energy.

(hope that was okay XP couldn't think of anything else though I'll change it if you want)

Jake growled as he listened to the mage, he let out a small growl in which was not very vicious, more to show how annoying the thief was. "Oh yeah. You would have like that, wouldn't you?" He called out, when he felt something hit his arm, he growled louder as his floor hit the ground, once he was pinned, he felt the energy beginning to leave his body, but before the mage got much, Jake retaliated but scratching the mage's arm, he then kicked the thief back and moved away. "You little pest!"

"I'm a pest now am I? And what do you call that little weakling mage outside?" Thief asked seeming to have just landed in the air just as Mage had before when they were fighting. He then came up in front of Jake with one hand to his throat holding him up as he started to choke him and take come of his energy again

(I'd say he should call for Mage now XD )

Jake sighed a bit as he looked down. "Mage?... She... She is my friend... My only friend." He replied. then as the mage gripped his neck and began to suck his energy, his arms grew heavy as the fell to his side. "Mage!..." He yelled out as his whole body was growing heavy now. "... I... Need your help." He whispered to himself as his eyes were slowly beginning to shut.

(Now she can come to save the day. :D And the reason he seems so weak is, he is a half magical creature which means the thief already stole half his energy just by being near him, then the added energy drain means he is now falling into a sleep.)

(good choice X3 oh and so you know her little dragon is immune to most magic so the mage's magic doesn't effect her X3 )

Mage heard Jake as she hid outside and soon found herself rushing into the house to see what was going on without thinking. Thief Mage smirked when he heard Jake and then saw Mage rush in. As soon as he looked at her Mage grabbed her head and screamed out in pain. Though soon enough the dragon that was still sitting on her shoulder moved and came up in front of Thief and with a flick of the tail Thief was sent hurtling into a pile of pain as lighting seemed to appear out of nowhere and strike him down without hurting Jake... though it didn't kill him... it just knocked him out. Mage laid motionless on the ground as this all happened her eyes being close and her breaths weak and raspy. She looked like she was in pain and couldn't move at all. While the effects from Thief would lift from Jake... they would not from Mage and that was clear as she just laid there on the ground almost looking dead.

Jake was about to slip of into a deep sleep when he felt his body hit the floor. He blinked a little as he looked to see the male mage on the floor, he then saw the female mage on the floor and growled. "How... could... he" He whispered as he slowly began to push his body up onto ho hands and knees. "... He... Will die." She growled as he managed to stand up as his rage built more, he stumbled a little and picked up his sword. "Time to finish this!" He yelled out plunging the sword down into the thief's heart. Once he had killed the thief, he turned and knelt beside mage. "Come on girl... You can't tell me this is your fate... Talk to me..."

(oh yeah Jake's energy would come back as soon as Thief was dead but Mage's wouldn't XP just so you know)

Mage laid there on the ground motionless with her eyes closed barely breathing and it was clear that she was too weak to move or anything and was more then likely near death... no mage ever walked away from Thief alive... and she was no different... though she wasn't quite dead yet though close. Mage's dragon soon flew over and landed on Jake's shoulder though it also seemed a bit tired and weak... nothing like he had been nor as Mage was now though using it's powers did take it's tole on it.
