Jake sighed a little as he nodded a little as he then looked to the door and thought of something. "Well... We are on a small hill here, so it is most likely that she could hear a yell for at least a mile radius." With that he began to walk towards the door. Mage didn't hear Jake... though she did hear something and looked up and around. She didn't know what the words were though she thought it was Jake... still she wasn't sure. Once she had calmed herself a bit she sighed and stood turning to go back to the house. She didn't know why she was doing this but she was... she didn't think he liked her though she still didn't know... she just wasn't sure about anything now.

Jake sighed as he paced back and forth a little. "I swear, I have never seen a female who was such a challenge... Mind you... I am good with challenges." He whispered before growling a little and running in the dirrection he had caught the scent of Mage from, thanks to his new form, his running was faster then the average human's running. "She better not keep running from me, I hate hunting things that run away."

Mage looked up when she heard something and started to head towards the sound though as she got closer she heard that it was coming faster and faster. She soon realized that it was someone running though before she could move it was too late and Jake had ran right into her making them both fall the the ground. She blushed a bit as she realized what happened and looked up at Jake surprisedly wondering what he was doing. "Jake?" she asked blushing a bit more not really expecting him to literally run into her like that.

Jake was grumbling a little as he ran while searching the area for any signs of Mage, but when he hit something and fell over, He growled a little and looked down to see Mage. "O-Oh! M-Mage!... I-I am sorry... I hope I-I didn't hurt you." He stuttered quickly standing up and offering her a hand, he tried to keep himself cool, but it still didn't stop him from blushing lightly as he tried to avoid eye contact. "Why did you run off like that? Did you really not hear what I said to you?" He asked with a small hope that she had so he wouldn't have to say it again, though he would if she hadn't.

Mage was blushing rather brightly now though shook her head as she looked at Jake and let him help her up. "No... No I didn't hear you say anything back at the house... w-why what did you say?" she asked though wasn't sure really... she didn't know what he said... was he just toying with her or something or was he actually being serious? Had he actually said he liked her? She really wasn't sure now though hoped he did.

Jake waited for her reply hoping it was good, but when he heard her say that she didn't hear him, he lowered his head a little and now knew what the problem was. "That will be why you ran off." He said quietly before taking a deep breath. "Okay... Look... This is hard for someone like me to admit, but... I do like you... I like you a lot." He said to her, making sure to be louder then normal about it. "So... There you go."

Mage blushed brighter as she heard Jake and looked at him a bit surprised. "Really? You really like me? I///I like you too, allot." she blushed some looking at Jake for a few minutes then looking down a bit embarrassed... the blush and sheepishness really looked odd on her though.

Jake looked down as she looked at him after his words, his scaley cheeks had began to glow a little red. "Y...Yes." He said before blushing more as he heard her reply to him. "Y-You do? I never t-thought you would." He said feeling a little awkward and shy as he began to play with the tip of his tail nervously.

"I do like you... I... I just thought that you didn't like me... I thought that you still found me a little annoying even though you've been staying at the house... I like having you there with me... I like being around you." Mage blushed again softly as she looked at Jake then couldn't help but smile as she watched him playing with his tail a little.

Jake listened to her and chuckled a little. "Weeeeell, I never said i didn't find you annoying at times." He joked before coughing a little. "But I do like you... Your the first ever female who has ever been brave enough to come close to me, even when I was human." He said chuckling a little. "Your not afraid of me like everyone else is which I really like."

"Haha. And no I'm not scared of you because there's nothing to be scared of as far as I can see... if nothing else there's more to love now... more reasons to like you." Mage smiled some though was still blushing a bit. She was now thinking a bit on telling him her real name... though she wasn't sure... her name was something that she didn't really like others to know... for whatever reason she just didn't like others to know her name... barely anyone actually knew her name... and the ones that did know were no longer living.

The dragon smiled at her words and blushed a little bit as he chuckled a little looking at their surroundings. "Well... Now that that has been sorted... I think it would be a better idea to go back to the house before we get attacked or something... I forgot my sword." He said rubbing the back of his neck with a nervous chuckle. "I was kind of in a rush and didn't realise I would need to bring it with me. But I really do not trust this woods."

I have my staff with me we're safe." Mage smiled some before rapping her arms around Jake though her cheeks were still rather red. "You know... I think I have something to tell you... I've never told anyone before... but, I know I can trust you. My name isn't actually Mage... my name is actually Mana Akuma Chi... though I had always gone by either Chi or Akuma... Akuma was actually what most people called me because of... well... they thought I was a demon child." she said softly though smiled a bit wondering how Jake would react. She was actually a well known dragon... and a slayer to top it off... it was why she went into hiding... she lost control when she was younger... and... well killed quite a few people, since then she hadn't been trusted much.

Jake heard her real name and he looked down at her with a small smile. "You was? Then they clearly never saw me if they thought of you as a demon child." Saying this, his smile faded as he looked down to the floor and sighed a little. "I was feared by many who knew of me because of the orders I had carried out over the years, since a young age... When my mother died... I have been a paladin, though my orders had always been the evil ones, They used to call me the 'Hell's paladin'... It was not nice." He sighed once more and just chuckled. "But my actual name is Drake Dante Davis. I just prefer Jake because it is more... Human sounding then Drake."

"Well... it seems we both have quite a back-story don't we?" Mana smiled softly before she got an idea that made her blush a bit and look down and away some. She was embarrassed at the thought... the want... the want to kiss him... it embarrassed her but she found that the notion wouldn't leave her be... she had wanted to kiss him again for awhile... ever since he resuscitated her... she had liked the feel of his soft lips on hers... it was nice...

Jake chuckled a little at her comment and nodded "It would seem that way, same we have, but there is nothing we can do I guess." He said as he looked up to the sky with a small smile. "You know... With enough practice, once day me and you could be up there... I just need to get used to having these." He said giving his wings a little flap. "I am getting a little used to being in this form... I actually like it." He said feeling a little stupid, then he looked down at Mana and tilted his head. "Is something wrong? I know it is a little odd, but I could hide my tail and wings if they are freaky."

"Oh it's not that hard to fly... just takes a little practice and allot of pacience..." Mana said softly with a smile though was then looking down at the ground again. She soon heard his comment and looked up at him giving him a slight sheepish smile. "No it's not that at all... I don't mind your wings and tail... nothing's really wrong" she said softly but honestly... there wasn't anything that was wrong... she was just embarrassed by her own thoughts was all.

Jake smiled a little and nodded to her. "I know... That is the trouble. I have no patience for anything." He said chuckling more as he looked back to the sky as she spoke again and sighed a little. "Okay... But tell me if there is." He said before seeing a bird fly past. "... I think I am hungry now." He said with another chuckle before looking back down at her. "We should head back to eat, I am sure your dragon will be getting a little hungry too." He said, he had forgotten her name like he always did.
