Will probably try it this weekend seeing that I have some time. You'll be the first to know if they were good.

Kirin Rosenbaum: ~ Sun butter? Never heard of it before. Do you know any stores that carry it?
Numerica ~ Thanks for the recipe. I am gonna have to try it when I get some time off work when I'm not posting for events. :D
SuperZombiePotato ~ thanks for stopping by & please let us know about the almond butter, Miscreant loves almonds. He probably would like potato candy with almond butter.

Most grocery stores do. Usually in a nature area if they have it.

Almond butter is my go to substitute for peanut butter, although I like pistachios better. Definitely trying it tomorrow, 'cause I looked at the recipe again and it looked ridiculously appetising!

I hear all this talk of strange butters... and I'm still sitting here thinking "How the hell do you turn a sunflower into butter?"

I guess you would just crush & process the sunflower seeds similar to the way they do with peanuts, almonds or other types of nuts.
I love this emote.
I'm posting it here so I can find it again later.
Thank you very much Poet.

Feel free to ask for it anytime too. I have it saved.
Made chocolate covered cherries, chocolate covered oreos, and chocolate covered cake balls today. (I did more eating than helping)

You can make them with white or dark chocolate or any of the colored chocolates.
They don't take a lot of ingredients, just oreos, cream cheese & chocolate.

I hope to have more time around Christmas to make stuff.
I think it would be so cute to make oreo ball snowmen to put in gift baskets for people.
Last year we made a bunch of cookies & cupcakes & cheeseballs that we gave away.
We are the weird people who have decided to get away from all the Christmas shopping. We do still buy a few things but not that many, mostly books, movies or stuff like that.
I think we did good trying to spread around some holiday cheer. The workers at the gas station & hardware store were surprised. We took a tray of gingerbread men cookies to the gas station & one of the guys at the hardware store got cupcakes while the other got a cheese ball (we've known him longer & he's not supposed to have sugar). Next time I need to make him 2 cheese balls, he said his family ate it up before he had a chance to get more than a bite of it. The poor owner of the gas station didn't get any cookies. They were all gone before he got there. We even took stuff to 2 of the mechanic shops. I guess my mind was thinking about the people who are always there & are helpful, but probably aren't as appreciated as they should be.
It was fun making so much stuff. It did take a lot of time. I think I made & decorated about 100 cupcakes. I have no idea how many cookies we ended up making.
I am already trying to plan ahead so that I can & hopefully will have time to do all the things I want to do at Christmas.
Riding around looking at Christmas lights still brings me lots of happiness.

Fudge isn't as easy as people think. Sometimes it proves difficult to get the texture right. I know I have tried to make it & it turned out grainy.
One of miscreants cousins made some great raspberry fudge one year, it was yummy, but I won't make it after she told me how much sugar she used.

Sometimes those type of accidents are the best kind.
If we knew what we did wrong then we would just keep doing it over & over.
It might have been the weather. If it was very humid or raining or snowing that might have had an effect on the consistency of your fudge.
I had a problem with some jelly not setting up this summer because of so many rainy days.
The jelly is still edible, but its so messy.
The pie filling turned out fine which I made at the same time.
