That's one of the things that I find really difficult when creating a new character, so they end up in really simple stuff.

I think it would be a good idea, I would hate for it to die before I even get to post.

Well, the Norse dressed pretty simply and that was my main inspiration. I'm also planning on doing some fancy ones for high class/royalty because Kina wants a fancy dress for Vetur and I figured I would draw more than one. Also, these are just general ideas, you can change things up all you want.

Makes sense. there would be a difference between richer/upper class and the wilder, more basic class. and yeah... honestly I'll probably just have her be knocked out and than Vara can carry her back T.T

Make yourself a color wheel. You'd be surprised how much something like that helps!

Yea, I kinda figured that as well. And, it is your RP so you can do what you think is best.

I use online color charts/wheels if I'm really stuck, I can't trust my eyes with a regular wheel.

You mentioned being color blind once? Hmm, I like really bright colors, it's just putting them together well that's the problem ... With paintings anyway

Hai, only slightly though. I have trouble seeing certain shades of red and green, though it's mostly reds.
