hmm... I actually use HSL to choose my colour.
Anyone here know what is COPIC?
Similar to the way COPIC provides colour.

Set a colour (hue), then set how true your colour be (saturation), then adjust the lightness (Lightiness).
Most of the time, you have the constant hue and saturation, if you want to shade to darker, just adjust the lightness bar to negative, they even have a handy number box. It goes a -100 to 100 scale. Then you will have a blending palette.

BUT! If you are the one with funky shadow like... using red or purple or blue shades to shadow, still can adjust the hue to achieve it. Even the hue it self have colour. Or what I do is, having the standard shade, and brush on the shadow shade in a lower opacity.

Those pants remind me a lot of the spandex shorts we already have. I don't think we have florescent though.
