I just uploaded TONS of my albums to google music. It was insanely easy and now I can access most of my music without it taking up space on my phone. I can get to my music from either my phone or computer when I am not at home in seconds.

So out of curiosity, has anyone else played with google music? What do you think? So far, I'm totally in love and am ready to auction off my old ipod.

I am also finding it very fast and easy to rip music to my computer with google music automatically uploads. How fricking cool is that?

*Does the happy Daria dance. *

I've never heard of it! What is it? Like a google version of window media player or something?

Never looked into it. I heard of it before just never used it. I'm kind of old fashioned though and still just use tapes and CDs. :P

It's kinda like a virtual library for all your music. So you can upload a TON of CDs to it. You can then "access" your music from any computer (assuming google music is not blocked) as well as most smartphones. It's free too. Also, if you know you are going to be without internet phone connection for a period of time but will want to listen to your music, you can download an album to your phone from google music to listen to. It's seriously AWESOME! It also kinda makes, ipods obsolete.

That sounds awesome. Now I am going to have to look into that. I would use something like that once I get into the habit of using it. I just tend to stick to old things out of habit. :P

Haha, that sounds like fun but a lot of work at the same time.
Fun because it's an infinite storage device,
But not fun because you would have to be online to access your music, which means that you don't really have it on-the-go.
I do understand that you can load it into your phone, but then again, I already do have all my music loaded on my phone.

I've been using it since the Beta. It used to be a lot slower uploading and would crash every now and then... but really, it's always been awesome. Best quality that you're probably going to get on an online music player too, and you suddenly don't have to worry about phone or computer space to hold everything as long (as you have a connection, anyway). The REALLY cool thing is the ability to download from it too, but I haven't checked if the quality from that is good.

Just... be wary of things if you have a not-so-great connection. Whenever I upload, it ties up the Internet for everyone in the house. XD

I have a pretty solid net connection and did not see that being a problem for me. :) I do admit, it's pretty darn sweet!
