Toshiko awoke with the sun as it rose upon the earth. She had spent the morning in her beautiful gardens, and finally decided to set out. Her personal servant had been killed, having thrown herself infront of Toshiko to protect her from harm of a peasent's dagger. The unfortunate event had caused disturbance in her estate, and now was the time to take on another servant. After the short drive she stepped out in her lavish red kimono, and walked slowly down the slave sellers street. She looked for well kept slaves, hoping for a sign that would make her decision easier.

Miryoku huffed as she sat in her cage with her hood up glaring at everything and everyone. She hated it here, she hated her 'keeper' or whatever he was, she hated the smell of the city, she hated the people she saw, and most of all, she HATED being stuck in such a small cage and not being out in the forest like she always had been. She does one little thing wrong and suddenly she's stuck in a cage and being sold for a high price even though she had clearly been beaten and had a foul attitude. She glared at everyone and everything and some masters were even weary to go near her cage for she had lashed out a bit earlier that day and word had spread quickly. "I swear, if I do not sell you today witch I will wrip out your cold little heart myself." the merchant muttered to Miryoku and she hissed darkly at him. "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY MORTAL!" she snarled and the man growled back at her though just looked ahead and ignored her for the time being.

Silver green eyes passed over a merchants wears as the rich mistress stood before a bunch of cages. Toshiko had a sudden urge to stop by this area, and seeing the treatment of the slaves offered for sale there, she had a feeling why. These poor abused creatures were covered in terrible rags, and ugly marks from their abusive keeper. Her pale skin stood out against her raven black hair as she gazed apon the slaves. "Merchant. Bring forward three female slaves to be inspected." she spoke suddenly, her voice melodic and cold, ringing with power. Her body itself had a suffocating aoura of power, almost no one went unaffected when getting close to her. Waiting she watched as the three were chained and stood before her. Looking them over she then stopped infront of the blonde. "Name?" she stated cooly, her gaze never savoring or blinking as she stared into her eyes.

Miryoku growled as she was pulled from her cage and right away tried to run though was then forced to stand in front of the female that seemed rather powerful. "Name's Miryoku, what's it to ya?!" she snapped then growled as she felt the merchant kick her leg... that was actually bandaged rather poorly and you could see a large blood stain on it that looked like it had infection there too. She then tried to turn and snap at the male but he wouldn't let her so she just growled more at him.

The mistress watched as the slave snapped at her, but was more then disapproving to the keeper when he kicked her. Stepping forward suddenly there was a swift breeze, and the sound of a smack. The raven haired woman had back handed the keeper in the face, with her now revealed pale white hand. She then tossed him some money and with a faint brush of the chains, they broke from the other two slaves. "Miryoku, let us leave this place." she said slowly, and then looked into the girls eyes. She didn't take the chains in her hands but if the girl was smart she wouldn't run, but follow her.

Miryoku saw the female starting to move her hand and waited to feel the smack though it didn't come... instead she heard it and looked over to see that she had backhanded the keeper. She then looked at the other two girls as they squeeled and seemed to not think as they gave the kind mistress a hug before both backing away for a moment blushing and apologizing then running off to go and try to start a new life. She gaped openly at the girls and then the woman though when she heard her she didn't want to really come with.... though the woman seemed to have great power... far greater then her own... and it attracted her a bit... it made her want to know how she had such great power... so... she fallowed a little reluctantly.... she still fallowed all the same.

Pleased enough with the young slaves' happiness she looked over the fact thatthey hugged her and then ran. Turning she glanced back at the slave following her and a smile almost pulled at the corner of Toshiko's lips as her eyes flashed. Approaching the limo, the driver opened it for her and she stepped in. "Come sit Miryoku." she said softly, the power in her voice making it carry to the younger girl's ears. Sitting back against the leather seat her hands returned to the folds of her sleeves as her hair rested on her shoulder. She held a slight milky glow about her in the dim lit limo, and her eyes seemed to shift into a more green color. Mysterious, it was the best suiting word for the powerful mistress.

Miryoku nodded as she fallowed and the thought did come into her mind to run when the woman's back was turned though knew better then that... like she would be able to get these dang magic resistant chains off anyway. She sat in the seat next to her new mistress though was unsure of what to think, how to act, or what to do... she had never been a slave before... in fact she had had a magical assistant of her own back home... though that girl was more like a friend then anything and she wasn't forced to work at all... she just worked for her because they had been friends and Miryoku had given her a place to stay.

Toshiko's eyes ran over the chains and with a blink they felt to the floor and turned into dust. "Now that you are comfortable Miryoku, I am your new Mistress. Toshiko Soma. Please recur to me as mistress, Miss Soma, or madam. Only in private quarts and with permission will you be able to use my first name." she said promptly and then looked over the girl once again. "I am in need of a new personal servant and you will be the new one in training." she explained briefly before her eyes darted to the driver, and grew colder then before. The male looked away and rolled up the divider. "Male insolence." she hissed softly before containing herself in her neutral mask once more. "Once arriving to the estate, I will show you to the springs so you may bathe and be clean. I expect very high quality from all who stay within my household." she added, expecting the blonde to be taking mental notes, and was prepared for questions... There was always questions.

Miryoku stared slightly as the chains just fell off and turned to ash gaping a bit. "H-how did you do that?! I can't do anything like that!" she exclaimed before hearing her new mistress speak. She listened to her new mistress and didn't really like having rules and guidelines that she had to abide by... she had never had them before and didn't really like the thought of having them now. "I do have a few questions... probably not the ones you're expecting though... I don't even know how this whole thing works... I was just minding my own business gathering fruits and such in the forest close to my home when I was taken by surprise... next thing I know I was in a cage being yelled at.... I had an assistant at home but she was more like a protozoa(don't know if that's right but I think you know what I meant :sweat: )... she was a mage in training that wanted to learn from me... unfortunently it looks like I have allot more to learn though." she said unsure then worried a bit about her apprentice and hoped that she would be okay at home alone...

Toshiko was surprised hearing her new slave's words, but nothing on her revealed that. "I am sure she is fine." she said, her voice really conveying no emotion. "And there is always time to learn and become stronger." she added looked down at the dust on the ground. "I've lived many years... I have been learning and excelling at magic all my life.... Petty magics like that are nothing compared to the magic I know." she stated before the limo stopped. The driver opened the door and Toshiko gracefully stepped out, happy to be back in her massive estate.

Miryoku was shocked when she heard her mistress... what other types of magic did she know? Would she help her learn? As she got out of the limo she looked around at the astate and was a bit impressed but really she missed her home in the forest... she had grown up and lived in the forest her whole life so it was... odd not being there now. She still didn't like her situation though she supposed she could deal with it... she would probably have to... well... she would have to.

Toshiko knew that her new slave Miryoku wasn't very happy. Though no slave was, not until they realized how blessed they were to be there. When with Toshiko, it ment protection and prosparity. The mistress then walked forward and smiled softly as her slaves, maids, and two cooks were line up on either side of the little path. "Good afternoon mistress." they all said in unisin. "Prepare the spings, have towls and kimonos ready for us, we wish to bath." she commanded in a soft voice, though it carried. The people dispersed and Toshiko looked back at Miryoku. "We will walk threw the gardens... I believe you will be more at home there." she added her eyes turning back to their dark stormy look. Walking threw the lavish gardens with beautiful flowers and trees she walked beside her new aquaintence.

Miryoku was a bit surprised when she saw the slaves and Maids and cooks... she hadn't really expected so many though they all seemed rather content, if not happy, with their situation and that confused her... how could you be happy being someone's slave? When they went into the garden she looked around amazed at all the beautiful trees and flowers and this did make her feel more at home then the large buildings and such that she had been around for the last few days. She could feel the energy of the nature around them bring back some of her powers and it felt wonderful and took a load of stress and tension off her shoulders letting her relax a bit more.

Toshiko felt much of the stress and worry melt from Miryoku as they walked along in the garden. Her garden was her second home to the mistress, but she then looked to Miryoku out of the corner of her eyes. She was a little annoyed that she had permitted the young blonde to speak, but she hadn't spoken a single word since arriving, and the raven haired woman found it very rude. She then watched as one of her maids hurried over to them but tripped. The mistress easily caught her and put her back on her feet, and placed the glasses back on her nose. "Th-thank you mistress Toshiko." the brunet studdered and then bowed. "The preparations are complete." she said and then left. Toshiko then nodded and looked to Miryoku. "shall we?" she said and began walking towards the spa house.

Miryoku looked around though felt a little of the tension in the air and looked at her mistress then realized that she hadn't said a word and felt a little bad now. Though then she saw the servant girl run up and the kindness that her mistress seemed to show the girl before she spoke. She looked up at her then nodded and sighed some. "I'm sorry I haven't spoken... I'm just so used to not speaking... I'm normally concentrated all the time so I normally don't speak... but you're astate is quite beautiful... I've never seen so many different flowers and trees and I live in the forest." she said with a slight frown though then smiled at the end seeming quite happy with the garden and all the lovely nature around it.

Toshiko looked to Miryoku as she spoke and nodded. "Understandable... I once went four years without speaking to a soul, and dedicated myself to my studies." she explained smoothly. Brushing a flower with her finger tips before entering the building she walked into the changing area. Pulling of her kimono, she let it and the rest of her clothes fall to the floor. Her thin but generously curved pale body seemed to fainting glow in the dimly lit area. Taking out her hair, her raven locks tumbled down her body, past her rear, the silky hair looking almost fake. "This springs help enhance you powers." she added softly as her voice carried along powerfully.

Miryoku couldn't help but blush some as they entered the changing area and didn't know what to do since she had never seen anyone else without their clothes on nor had she ever let anyone see her without her clothes on. So she looked down at the floor a bit... almost shyly for the first time since her mistress had seen her and it was clear that she was unsure right now of what really to do.

A smiled came to her eyes as Toshiko watched Miryoku look away. The young blonde was sheepishly and looked lost on what to do. "Miryoku. You cannot soak and bathe in your clothes." she said and walked over, her fingers brushing the clothes hanging on her new slave. They dissappeared and reappeared on the floor next to the mistress's lavish kimono. Her pale hands then wrapped a towle around the blonde and she grabbed her own towle. "Come along, I'm not looking at you." she said... Almost sounding... Lively and jokingly... Who would have thought? Her deep eyes flickered to the door and a wind gusted up, making her hair flicker around her beautiful face, and the door opened from the gust. Revealing the beautiful natural springs they would be bathing in.

Miryoku blushed as she felt her mistress running her fingers down her body then her clothes disappearing. "o-okay" she said still seeming a bit nurvice as she walked with her to the springs and was shocked to see such a beautiful clear watter pool. It was hard for her to get over the fact that she was naked around someone else that she didn't really know and didn't really trust... it made it even harder to trust her mistress in this situation.

Toshiko readily walked into the warm water, a soft sigh escaping her pink lips. Closing her eyes, she relaxed as she sat into the water. Her deep black hair floated ontop of the water and she seemed to slowly unwind. A maid walked into the springs and around to her mistress. she placed a floating tray of finger food fruit, and her favorite sweet little drink. The maid bowed and Toshiko's eyes slowly opened. "Toru, I will need you to teach this little one how to cater to my meal needs... I want her up to date in a week. She needs to know the basics to be able to focase on magic later." she said smoothly and the maid bowed and left. The mistress then looked to Miryoku, wanting for her to speak. She was being too quite for the mistress's taste.
