Toshiko looked at Miryoku as she gasped and slowly lowered her arms. "It was from my 100th birthday... The day when my kind can choose the path they wish to take..." she whispered and closed her eyes. "My father is the eldest man in the village, and the most skilled at swords fighting. So naturally, I am the best woman fighter... But when my birthday came, I had wished to stay forever alone, I had never liked men, and liking woman is forbidden to my people.... So my father chose the man for me, who was Kei... He had been a close friend of mine when I was just a small child, but we had grown apart... He is a man that could spear your heart with an arrow faster then you could think, and my father wished us to keep a fighting legacy. I, like my father, was too stubborn to agree... I wished to be an artist like my dear friend... She had lived a long and prosperous life in the woods, happily making art that is revered as godly.... I wanted to walk that path, not the one set before me.... So my father flew into rage and struck me, and he made sure no one helped me, cursing my name.... I drug myself threw the forest, doing whatever I could to keep myself alive, and then stumbled here, and passed oh in the garden I took you threw... The widowed mistress took menin, healed me, and raised me like a child, though I far surpassed her age, and he taught me more about life then I could have imagined.... Though I have never been able to heal the scare, and it's all because of the curse on me. " she explained softly, looking at the massive painted wall with flowers and a dragon flying in the sky.

"Wow... so if you live here... and you had left your father... then how could he be trying to tell you still to marry Kei if you hadn't wanted to years before?" Miryoku asked softly before helping her mistress get dressed for the night though did hope that she would answer her question... if not then she understood and knew that it was her own personal business and if she didn't want to tell her new servant then she could respect and understand that completely.

"I am still pure, and one of the people until I either am mated to a male of our people, or to someone else... Until then, I am still of the village, and my father still holds power over me... Though I refuse it." she stated firmly before sighing happily to be in her night gown. She then closed her eyes and sat down on the bed slowly. "I painted that wall there, do you think I was foolish to want to be an artist?" she asked, motioning to the the wall with the painting in it.

Miryoku frowned some as she listened to her mistress though then looked at the wall and thought it looked beautiful. "No... I think that your brush strokes are very beautiful and it is actually quite breath-taking... have you ever tried selling your art?" she asked softly as she paused for a moment before sitting on the edge of the bed close to her mistress though not too close not wanting to bother the older female. She did glance at her a bit though without thinking and found it in herself that she thought the woman quite pretty though at the same time she was embarrassed by her thoughts and had to look away a bit not wanting her mistress to think that she was staring or anything.

Toshiko smiled softly hearing that Miryoku was very supportive of her art. Nodding to the question the dark haired woman looked over to her desk. "Yes, I sell quite slot of paintings actually... Just petty wall ones mostly, but the people who want bigger masterpieces seek me out themselves." she said softly and then looked to Miryoku. "Do you wish to ask anything else? I am growing weary, but I will answer a few more questions." she said slowly and then closed her eyes as she ran a hand threw bed now mostly dry hair.

"Oh no no you should rest... I'm sorry for keeping you up without thinking... though... um... where shall I be sleeping?" Miryoku asked softly and seemed truly sorry for the fact that she had been keeping her clearly tired mistress from her slumber without thinking. She then thought a bit on her question and wasn't really sure what to really think of it since she wasn't too sure on her feelings and emotions right now... to her they felt odd and out of place... she had never really felt them before and didn't really know what they were or what to make of them.

Toshiko smiled softly and then motioned to the massive bed. "At my side." she said and then pulled back the rich silk top blanket and te rest of the fluffy blankets. Slipping under the covers she looked over at Miryoku and pulled down the covers for her, on the side of her that was open on the bed. She then waited paitently as she reached her side and laid down. "Dream well Miryoku." she breathed and as her eyes closed the lights turned off.

Miryoku blushed a bit though nodded some and actually... found that she kinda liked the idea as she laid down next to her mistress and found herself smiling slightly. "You too mistress." she found herself saying before drifting off into a peaceful slumber where she actually felt comfortable next to her mistress. During the night she curled to her mistress a bit and leaned into her some almost like a child would someone they were very close to.

Toshiko slowly awoke finding Miryoku in her arms, enjoying the feel of her warmth. Looking a the blonde servant she then brushed her bangs out of her face and admired the innosence in her face. The mistress had always believed that she lost her innosence long ago, and admired it in any form. Laying there in the bed, she never wanted to move, or leave. She could wait for tea and breakfast, as long as she could gaze at this girl's beautiful face.

After awhile of Toshiko staring at Miryoku she slowly awoke feeling her mistress' gaze though didn't really mind it... she could just tell that she was being looked at was all. She yawned softly and without thinking nuzzled her mistress some still seeming to be half asleep for she did not pull away nor had she started blushing or stuttering for being so close to the other female.

Toshiko was taken by surprise as the young blonde female nuzzled closer to her own body. The warmththay spread threw out her body was an intirely new feeling and experience. Cradling the back of the servant's head, a slow smile grew on the mistress's gorgeous pink lips. He beauty seemed to be inhabited with such a smile upon her lips. Then sighing she closed her eyes, taking in everything aboutthis peaceful moment.

The moment lasted for a little longer before Miryoku slowly started to wake up and soon realized that she was closer to her mistress then she had meant to be and blushed some for the fact that she was so close and had nuzzled into her mistress a bit... she only hoped that Toshiko wasn't upset with this fact though she doubted it because she could feel a soft hand cradling her head and she kinda liked the feeling.

Toshiko watched as Miryoku slowly awoke and smiled at her slowly. "Good morning Miryoku." she said softly with her powerful voice toned down so she wouldn't be startled awake. "Did you sleep well?" she asked softly as she gently brushed a strand of raven black hair from her pale face. Never had a servant instinctively cuddled so close to her, her aoura always seemed to keep people at a distance, no matter who they were.

Miryoku blushed slightly as she looked up at her mistress a bit and gave her a slight smile though you could tell that she was a bit embarrassed for the fact that she had moved so close to the other female. "Good morning Mistress." she said softly and thought about moving away a bit since she normally wouldn't get this close to anyone... though at the same time she didn't want to move so she stayed where she was.... until her mistress told her to move that is.

As expected, there was that sheepish blush that rose on the blonde's cheeks. Toshiko flashed her white teeth in a swift smile and then looked up hearing footsteps approaching her door. It was opened and the maid smiled and set the breakfast tray on the table in the room. "Good morning mistress." she said softly and opened the curtains, letting in the bright sun and fresh air, it was a warm day, not too hot, not too cold. "Thank you Toru." Toshiko said and the maid bowed and left, shutting the door behind her. "Well, I guess we shall eat before the food gets too cold."

Miryoku couldn't help but feel her face turn a little more red when she saw the smile that her mistress flashed her. She soon heard the door open though and saw Toru come in with breakfast. She was a bit hungry and when she heard her mistress she nodded a bit unsure of what to say right now... she was just really embarrassed by the fact that she had moved so close to the woman... not to mention that she had, and still, liked the closeness.

Toshiko slowly let go of her blonde servant and moved to slide out of bed. Once on her feet her raven black hair tumbled down her body and she gave a soft yawn. The morning sun felt good on her pale skin as she slowly walked over to her vanity. Sitting on the stool she brushed her hair out slowly, and then braided it loosely to the side before getting up once more. "Miryoku, pour the tea." she said as she walked around the table and knelt on her pillow on the ground, waiting patiently to be served.

Miryoku yawned softly as her mistress got up and she slowly sat up as well before getting up and combing her slender fingers through her hair witch caused it to go straight once more without much movement. She then nodded softly as she went to kneel on the other pillow and carefully poured her mistress some tea seeming to have done this many of times before. Even though she had never stayed around many people she did often like having tea in the mornings and afternoons with her aprentice and it always seemed to calm and relax her. "So... um... how did you sleep mistress?" she asked softly and almost a bit timidly... though she had a fiery spirit she was normally quite... unless she was being messed with of course or when she was mad then she could be rather loud and aggressive.

Toshiko happily accepted the tea cup and breathed the aroma in deeply. "I slept well... I usually am quite cool when I sleep, it's nice to feel warm when sleeping now and again." she said and opened her eyes slightly, wanting to see if the blonde blushed or reacted. Then taking a slow sip of the tea she sighed softly and then set the cup down. "You never told me how you slept when I asked you Miryoku." she added as she picked up her chop sticks and began to gracefully eat her breakfast.

Miryoku blushed when she heard her mistress seeming a bit embarrassed by that though then poured herself some tea before slowly taking a sip of it. She then looked at her mistress a bit and realized that she hadn't answered her. "Oh... I'm sorry mistress I guess I just wasn't fully awake. I slept wonderfully thank you." she said softly with a slight blush before taking her own chop sticks and eating some of her breakfast as well seeming to enjoy the food.

Toshiko smiled hearing her and then nodded. "That's alright... I will just have to wait for you to wake up before asking any questions." she said lightly. The black haired mistress eat the light food until her little bowle was finished and then sat back on her feet a bit, just watched Miryoku before she slowly stood. She waved her hand and the bed was made in a flash before she slowly sat upon it. She just closed her eyes and enjoyed the sunlight hitting her face and body, slowly warming her.

Miryoku looked up when she saw her mistress get up as she was finishing eating and watched her a bit. She found herself thinking her mistress rather pretty and blushed a little at the thought though found herself saying what she felt. "You look very pretty in the sunlight mistress..." she said softly then her fact got a bit red and she looked away a bit since she was a bit embarrassed at the fact that she just admitted that she thought her mistress pretty.... and it wasn't in the way that you would say someone's outfit was pretty either... it was more in the way that you would say someone was good looking...

(don't know if that makes sense or not XD sorry)

A bit surprised at hearing Miryoku say she was pretty the mistress opened her eyes. Looking over at her Toshiko slowly smiled and brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "Well, thank you." she said and then ran her fingers gently over the silken bed cover. Moving to stand she then held out her arms slowly. "Please assist me in undressing." she said waiting patiently for her personal blonde servant to move.

Miryoku blushed a little more when she heard her mistress though then when she heard her again and looked to see her standing she slowly stood and nodded helping her mistress get undressed. "What would you like to wear Mistress?" she found herself asking and was actually a bit surprised that she had fallen into the step of things so easily though knew that it was probably for the best... though also knew she would never stop being embarrassed about her feelings... at least not for a very long time.

Toshiko looked at Miryoku and then shrugged. "You decide." she said. She was adoring that cute blush on her servant's cheeks, as well as how beautiful her straight hair was. Now she was very certain she had picked the perfect new servant, the perfect female to support her threw life. Though it had been hard and heart breaking to loose her first personal servant, she had been expecting it... She had merely been human, so her time was destined to end before her mistress's. But now, Toshiko wasn't worried about being too strong, or too magical, this girl was magical and strong, it was a very good combination indeed.
