Makes me glad I don't have a gaming PC (or a Steam account). Technically I only own an EeePC and it barely runs flash games xD

I have a laptop on loan from my husband though, until I get a job and buy my own desktop. I can play some games on it, but it barely runs Minecraft so I don't bother with Steam.

He has a PC though, and loves Steam's $5 sales. I think that's how he finally wound up getting Left4Dead.

When we can, though, we usually go for XBox titles first, then Steam, unless it's a game that a bunch of his Steam friends have already (like Left4Dead) just so he can play with other people (he doesn't have as many friends on XBL).

And of course, we have our Nintendo titles. I really should finish Skyward Sword...

Yes, it is though your best bet is to get a good starter rig with upgrade compatibilities then go from there.

My rig is going to repaired and upgraded at the same time. I'm getting it upgraded to a pretty good mid range card that will be able to play games without any problems with the account of a new power supply and a nicer CPU to handle the workload.

PC gaming is the way to go. I used to be a console gamer before I went onto PCs.

Depending on the games will decide which I use. Though, pretty soon(whenever they decide to tell us the actual release date) I will be playing ALOT of computer game. Diablo 3 NEEDS to be released soon.

Depends on your gaming tastes, but as far as raw power goes, PC gaming is the way to go. If you play a lot of older JRPG's like me, you won't find those on PC very often. But pretty much any title that gets released cross platform is good on PC, save for when they have bugs due to being ports.

Skyrim is also infinitely better on PC. The load times are almost nonexistent, the mods are glorious, and HD textures look great. That, and you can play it with an Xbox 360 controller, so you really can't lose.

I love my consoles to bits, but my PC is my favorite machine.

I prefer PC. If I had a better computer system then I would be PC gaming every fucken day. There are some games I would play on a console but other than that, I will still go for the PC. xD I have a laptop and I am not going to use that for games. I want a desktop with a decent gaming system that I have assemble for myself.

Assuming you have a PC that runs it well... which my laptop will not do
