"Hmm, apparently I should get mad and leave more often" He commented, his arm wrapped around her, "If things get this much better every time I come back."

"NOOOOOO!" She grip tightly, "I don't want you to ever go again! I want you to stay with me. I want to be with you." She snuggled closer, " I-...Sorry, that sounded clingy."

Pietro blinked, he hadn't exactly expected that much of a reaction, but it did make him smile a little after, "Alright" he hugged her close, "I'll stick around, but just cuz you said so."

"Hurraaaaaaay" She cheered softly, "And the little people of Mini Genoshaville were please their good looking prince was going to stay..."

Pietro laughed at that, "I dunno how many people are really pleased to have me here, but okay..."

"Don't be over paranoid. Lots of people are happy you're home. Especially me. And that's what's important."

He shrugged a little, "I dunno about everyone else. I haven't been spending much time outside my workshop"

"Then how do you know if people are happy to have you back or not? You've spent too much time locked away with your thoughts. Come on," Ciara got to her feet and held her hand out, "We're going for a walk."

Pietro scratched the back of his head awkwardly, "ah... I dunno..."

"That's an order, Mister!" She said grabbing him playfully by the arm and dragging out.

The marketplace was a very busy place.

Ciara greeted people as they pass.

"Ah, it's Ciara.Good afternoon."

"Hey Ciara, you finally got him out of the house huh?" A vendor called, "Nice to see you out, Pietro."
"Think fast!" An old lady threw an orange at Pietro and gave him a thumbs up, "Nice catch, young man."
"Don't you two make a lovely couple."
"Pietro! Hey guys, it's Pietro. My man," The cool cat shook Pietro's hand, "My wizard with the scissors. Glad to see you out and about. Listen we're having a rad party at the Jazz club next Saturday night. Would love to have you attend."

"Pietro! Come down to the pub anytime. Drinks on the house."

"Ciara!!!" A small crowd of small children quickly surrounded the two. Several children moving in to hug Ciara.
"Oh, I missed you guys. And MY how you've all grown. Timmy, I see your spots have finally come in." She patted the Cat boy's head.
" We missed you at swimming classes."
"Yeah, but it was still fun with the blue lady."
"Yeah. She's tons of fun."
"I can take apart a gun now!"
Ciara chuckled, "Things have gotten a little crazy. So I'm sorry I haven't been there. But aren't you guys being a little rude?" She tilted her head toward Pietro. They gasped and quickly all crossed their arms and bowed politely.

"Good Afternoon, Mr. Pietro sir." They all said as one.
"Is he your boyfriend?" One asked.
"Yes, yes here is."
"So romantic." One girl who had petals for hair said.
"When are you going to have babies?!"
Ciara blushed brightly, "Babies come after marriage, sweetie."

Pietro looked around, hearing his name called over and again, it was a little dizzying. He caught the orange without a second thought and then gave an awkward smile to the one who threw it, "th-thanks?" he stumbled after Ciara, rather shocked at the welcoming. "uhhh... hi... kids..."

They all smiled up at Pietro, asking him all sorts of questions.
After about 10 mins, Ciara intervened. "Alright kids. Don't crowd him. Off you all go."

As the children left you could hear them say such things as, "I wanna be just like Pietro when I grow up!"
"Nah huh. I'm gonna be like Pietro! Zoom Zooom"
"OH! Let's go play X-squad."
"I call Quick Silver!"
"D'aw, I wanted to be Quick Silver!"

A little shy girl paused before leaving, she hadn't been brave enough to say another with everyone else there, "Th-thank you for the red shoes." She hugged his leg and with a smile ran off.

"You ok? You seem a little overwhelmed." Ciara asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I... uh..." Pietro stared after the little girl, "I don't... what was that?" he turned to Ciara in confusion, "Did you tell them to do that?"

"And when would I have had time to do it, Pietro? I've been in the hospital since I got back" She smiled, slipping her hand into his. "I know. It takes some getting use to. I was a little overwhelmed when I first arrived here. Papa had gone around bragging about me to everyone, so when I got here and started walking around, this was the response I got.

And from the sounds of it, it looks like your father has been bragging about you since you got home." She kissed his cheek.

Pietro rolled his eyes, "Yeah right, The Great and Powerful Magneto does not brag about his children. If it wasn't for me telling people he's my father, no one would even know."

She sighed. "Pietro, I've been inside your father's head and I know how he thinks. People wouldn't be confronting you or saying hello unless he's given them a reason to. Because he wants you to get the attention you deserve."

"Well, what he seems to think and the way he acts are two different things sometimes." Pietro replied, "You may have been in his head, but I grew up with him.... anyway" he shook his head, "I don't want to talk about him, you're a way more interesting topic" he smiled at her, "Where do you want to go? I bed you miss the ocean view"

She'd have to confront Eric and get the two of them talking again... Eric just didn't know how to talk to his children... He'd messed their lives up so much already, he didn't want to make it worse...

"Oh gods yes!" She said excitedly, racing off toward the ocean, dragging Pietro along.

Pietro laughed, running alongside her and then eventually just picking her up and speeding the rest of the way there. He stopped at the edge of the water and set her down, letting out a sigh and falling back on the sandy beach ot relax.

She giggled when she was swept off her feet and set down in front of the ocean. A wide childish smile came across her face as she saw the water. Quickly, she removed her shoes and dipped her feet into the water. Then she broke out into a run atop the water, till it was deep enough and cannonballed in.

Pietro laughed as he watched her play from the shore.

She waved at him, "Come on in and play with me, Pietro!" She called

"uuhhh, naw, I'm good" Pietro waved back.

A few seconds later, her dress flomped down beside him. "You sure, the water's not deep here." She teased.

Pietro blushed a bit, "uuuuhhhhh.... I want to say something about ruining the fabric... but then again, I can just make you another" he chuckled, "My clothes on the other hand, are expensive, I probably shouldn't be getting salt-water in them"
