Scott looked over and noticed Ciara on the bed, being stitched up, and a trail of blood leading out the window. His face very serious. "I have my com on. When you're done you fill me in on EVERYTHING." He turned and headed out. "Pietro, you're with me." He hurried back to where Emma was. "Contact Colossus, Kurt, Iceman, Blob and Kitty. We have a creature to stop."

The creature was attacking people at random. Mostly those alone. It would take a leg here, an arm there, some life force over there...

"Is she ok?" Pietro asked, hesitantly following Scott, he hadn't been able to see into the room, "Is Ciara going to be alright?"

Emma nodded and contacted the others who were quick to come and form their team.

"Phil was patching her up when I went in." Scott answered, "She's in the best hands she can be in right now. Emma, get a Code Orange up. Get all civilians into their homes."

Scott met them all at the beginning of the trail the monster had left, "Alright team. We've got a creature to stop. Phil wants it alive if possible but I won't risk the lives of those on this island. Pietro, Kitty and Kurt, you three will go ahead of us. Locate the creature but do no engage till back-up arrives. Emma will keep us mentally protected. We don't know what this thing is capable of. X-squad, move out!"

They all nodded but Pietro kept looking back at the building they had walked out of. He couldn't stop thinking about Ciara, he'd promised her everything would be okay but what if it wasn't okay? What if she died and he wasn't there holding her hand? What if...

Kitty and Kurt were first to take off, Pietro barely heard what Scott was saying.

Scott noticed this and sighed, puttting a hand on Pietro's shoulder, "Go to her. It's clear you aren't able to focus." He said pushing him in the direction of the hospital.

"I-are you... okay" Pietro nodded a little sheepishly and took off to return to Ciara.

Collosus, Iceman and Blob were left with Scott.

Scott turned. He still wasn't sure what the creature was but he knew it involved Ciara. And he rather stay near by but he had to push his emotions down. People were at risk. "Let move." He said, leading them off down the alleyway.

Ciara skin was a dark blue. The creature had released a toxin into Ciara's body when it was forced from her; a defense mechanism. Her heart rate was rapid, her temperature was raising.

The rest of them took off with Scott, on the hunt for the strange beast.

"What's wrong with her?" Pietro demanded to know as he stood in the doorway.

"We are doing our best Pietro" Phil replied while Beast finished cleaning up his face, "If you must be here then be silent and stay out of the way."

The creature had grown since attacking Beast in the face. It was now standing at 6'5" and was sucking the life force off of it's latest victim.

"Gotchya" Kurt stated as he spotted the thing from on top of a building. He tapped his com, "It's on Polarus Street, between Archangel Ave and Community Boulevard" he told the others as he teleported above the creature and came down with a swift kick to it's back.

Scott tapped his com, "We're two mins away. Do no engage Kurt."

The creature stumbled back and with a loud growl charged at him. A growl that could be heard for miles.

"Uuuuuhhhh, too late" Kurt replied, grabbing the victim and teleporting back to the rooftop, "it was hurting someone, I had to."

The man was knocked out. His hair had turned half white... on one side.

The creature ran into the wall of the building, Kurt had reappeared on and started to climb. Hissing and Clicking as it went.

"Just don't get too close then. We're a min away."

"Gotchya" Kurt replied, looking the person over with concern. His ears perked up when he heard the clawing and he quickly teleported away, "Hey!" he called from an adjacent building to get the thing's attention, "You looking for me?"

It clicked very loudly 3 times before throwing itself at the building with great strength and speed. It finished climbing, it's eyes glowing red.

"Mein Got" Kurt exclaimed, seeing the thing in it's full hideousness, "So happy I am a Teleporter" he cartwheeled and back flipped away from the beast, teleporting when he had to as he danced circles around it.

With Kurt's next teleport however, the creature was able to get a hold of him, slamming him into the ground and clicking angrily . Kurt would find it hard to teleport while touching the creature. It's power blocking Kurt from using his.

It hissed, smelling Kurt and looked him in the eye. After a moment, it threw Kurt away and started to head off, running across the rooftops. It leapt across a wide alleyway only to be shot down by Scott's laser eyes. "Kurt, are you ok?" He asked through his com, seeing the monster but not Kurt.

Kurt choked, coughing as he flipped and landed on his hands and feet, "yeah" he croaked and then cleared his throat, "I'm fine. You got it?"

The creature rolled and didn't move. "Not sure." Scott commented, slowly having the time surround it.

The blast from Scott's eyes seemed to stun it only for a moment for it was back up and hissing and clicking. It's eyes were glowing red as it looked around and spotted Blob and charged.

Blob braced himself for the impact, ready to wrestle.

Kurt teleported over next to Scott, "Not sure what it did to that other person, but we've gotta be careful with physical contact. It let me go though... I can not say why"

It hit Blob like a brick wall, pushing against him with just as much force as Blob had. It sniffed Blob, clicked and hissed twice and started over powering Blob slowly, trying to bite into Blob's side.

Blob grabbed it's throat, trying to fight it off, "oh jeeze" he grunted, "guys-Guys!"

"Woah" Kurt's eyes widened and he teleported above the creature, kicking it in the head again, "Hey ugly!" he yelled at it.

Collosus charged forward to grab the beast's arm and try pull it off of Blob.

Even Scott was a bit surprised by how strong the creature seemed to be against. "Right." Scott started blasting it, which made the creature hiss in pain but it kept going.

With one final push, the creature wrapped it's jaws around Blob's tummy and began to suck. To Blob it would most likely tickle but with each suck, it was absorbing his fat cells and growing slowly.

"Ack!" Blob yelped, "The hell?! Get it off me!"

"Got it" Kitty charged forward and grabbed hold of the beast, phasing it off of Blob so he could stumble away from it. Collosus proceeded to body-check the thing harshly.

It flew into a brick wall, denting it slightly from it's mass. It got back up and charged toward Blob again, sending Collosus flying as he batted him away.
