"Yes, and you have found her." She rested her arms against his chest. "My Prince." She cupped his face and kissed him. "You must be tired from your journey," She wipped the blood from his brow with the cloth from her long sleeves, "Come, my prince."

"o.o... yeah... okay" Pietro grinned like a fool and stumbled after her.

Queen Bee grinned softly to herself. Like pudgy in her hand. Soon they would know all of Genosha's secrets. Queen Bee lead Pietro to a luxurious bathing room. Where a large tub was filled with hot water from a nearby spring. She lay along the edge, her dress perfectly outlining her curves as she used a cloth to wash away the blood from his face.

"You don't say? What else can you tell me, love?"

Meanwhile, Black Beetle had returned to the Reach's new, new base. They were still getting things set up at the new location. The Young Justice group had continually been uncovering their operations and it was getting irksome.
He placed Ciara into one of the containment units and walked off as the insides of it came alive and began attaching to her.

Ciara briefly awoke as the machine began to hook up to her. She tried to move but the insides of the pod like prison wrapped claw like restraints on her limbs before a little white tube wiggled up and puffed a blue smoke in her face. In seconds she was out again.

When she came to again, she had been moved or/and the pod had morphed into a slick lounge like chair which cupped her body perfectly and shifted every now and then. It was almost like living metal. The wires and tubes were still attached to her, and her arms and legs still bound in place. Like this

The pod-like bed hovered above a circular surface surrounded by transparent screens and different waves of light kept scanning along her body. She moaned lightly, where was she... why did she feel like she'd been drugged? Why did she lack most of her clothing?

Beyond the bright lights at the edge of the room Blue Beetle stood guard, merely staring at Ciara while the female Reach scientist spoke in their language to another scientist on the side.

"B.B?" She rolled her head to the side, "Is that you?" She asked softly, her vision still blurred a bit. "Wh...what's going on?"

BB cocked his head as she spoke to him and replied in a matter-of-fact tone, "You are currently being scanned and assessed for Reach research opportunities."

"Oh gods..." She looked away, not again. Not another lab..."Wait... If this is Reach base...then why are you here? And how is Mitsue the Scientist here?" She asked, referring to the head scientist lady.

"Your question is illogical. Why would we not be here?" Blue Beetle replied

"You're suppose to be with the young justice team...not here." The scans narrowed down to her admonmen, several screens flashing with alerts.

'Wait, how does Ciara McCoy know about...Wait... she called me B.B. Oh my god, Ciara's Sting Ray! Sting Ray! I don't have control of my body! I'll find a way to save you, I promise.

"I am a product of the Reach. If my loyalties lay anywhere else it would be illogical." he replied. I believe there is a human phrase, do not making promises for which you cannot keep.

Mitsue came over, alerted by the sounds the technology was making, "Hmm... how promising. You are pregnant" she observed, "an advanced mutant child would prove quite useful."

'Our loyalties were with the team!'

Ciara's eyes widened, pregnant? She... she had Pietro's baby inside her? "Don't touch my baby. I won't let you hurt my baby!" She yelled, sitting up and trying to fight against the resistants. The chair wrapped vines around her shoulders and pulled her back gently, "Please don't hurt my baby. Pietro! Pietro!"

Your loyalty perhaps. My programming says otherwise.

"Pietro Maximoff I presume?" Mitsue turned to the computer and pulled up a file with Pietro's picture, "Hm. Not an optimal specimen for the father but I suppose it will have to do with a little tweaking."

She's our friend!

"Please. Please don't touch my baby. Do whatever you want to me but please leave my baby alone." She begged.

Your friend the beetle replied, I have no friends.

"I'm afraid that isn't an option" Mitsue replied, activating some of the technology around Ciara. A new blue light shone, focusing on her stomach, "extracting DNA sample."

I hate to break it to you but out of all the people we've worked with, Sting Ray was the only person to treat you as your own being. So yeah. She is your friend.

Ciara felt her stomach get warm, "DON'T!" She screamed, her forehead gem glowing. Several of the machines began to flash red, others started to crash. "B.B.! Please make them leave my baby alone! If you alter my baby, you won't get to see how an advanced Mutant genome is formed naturally!

Mitsue thought about that for a moment, "I suppose that's true..." she checked her monitor, "I will leave one of them alone"

"There's two of them?" She paused, "If their different genders, then you should know the genome evolves differently depending on sex..."

Mitsue narrowed her eyes at Ciara, "My dear, I know enough about the x-genome to discern fact from fiction. Do not think that your desperation can influence my judgement" she turned away sharply to work on other things.

"But, it's true!" She called after Mitsue. "My father said so!" She grew quiet and began to cry softly, her gem fading and several of the systems rebooting. "I'm sorry Babies.. I'm so sorry... B.B. please... Please help me..." She wept softly before another puff of smoke put her back under.

Scott was beyond annoyed. He marched right through that zaba tube and punched Batman square in the face. "That's from Phil. Do you have ANY IDEA what'll happen now?! DO YOU? Cause Beast filled me in and it sure as hell doesn't sound comforting." Pointing back at the Beast who came through the tube with small lot of the team. Most of them were off fighting the Purifiers.

Batman's head rolled to the side but aside from that he didn't move from the punch. He turned his gaze back on Scott with measured patience, "For as long as she was here, I kept her safe. It was her choice not to return to Genosha once her time here was complete."

"Her CHOICE?" Beast growled, "she's still in recovery!"

"Which would not have progressed if she was unable to make her own decisions" Batman pointed out.

"Miss Sting Ray said she was only going to be out for a couple of days before going back to Genosha."
A couple of them looked at Miss Martian, "Ok, so I might have read her mind." she said nervously.

"Hey, we were letting her make her own choices... in a contented environment." Kitty started out loud and then slowly grew quiet.

Scott was about to burst out again but stopped himself and grit his teeth and let out a sigh. "What's done is done. All we can do now is hope we're not too late..."

"Scan complete" the computer suddenly chimed in and Batman turned back to the monitor, "All known Reach locations have been abandoned but we have been forcing them to move base on a pretty consistent basis so chances are that they're relying on the Light's resources at this point. Lex Luther has the best technological advances and location requirements for the Reach so it's highly likely they have set up their new base in one of his buildings." he brought up a map of the world covered in white dots, there were hundreds of them across the globe, "these show the locations of buildings he owns, through Luther Corps and various shell companies." he tapped a few keys, some of the white dots turned red or blue, "The blue locations have been bought within the last three months, the red are other optimal Reach locations that have taken on suspicious activities within the last three months."

Beast analyzed the screen and frowned, "Chances are... highly likely... these are words of a man who has no facts, no clue as to where she is"

"There are no hard facts at the moment" Batman stated, "this is how we find them. In the mean time, we have an undercover operative who will look into things as well. If you want to find Ciara, you will lend us the man power to cover these areas."

"Done." Scott said without a second thought.
"Wait, where's Pietro? Shouldn't he been here too?" Kitty asked.

Some of the Young Justice looked down.
