Ciara rushed over to Ivy's place and paused near the pond, to fix her hair, zip her suit down a bit, and rub any dirt off her face. "Miss Ivy." She called sweetly.

"Please Ciara, how many times do I have to tell you?" Poison Ivy strolled through the garden and up to the water mutant. She touched Ciara's cheek lightly and smiled, "just call me Ivy."

She adverted her eyes, blushing slightly, " Sorry, force of habit to be polite like that, Miss-...I mean Ivy." She looked back up at her and then down at the ground, making a circle with her foot; much like a child who is about to ask a question they're not sure they should ask because the other person will get mad.

She slipped her hands into Ivy's, "Ivy...I need to ask something of you but I'm afraid you'll get mad."

Eyeing her a moment Ivy took a seat on a flowery throne, "Well? what is it? There's no way of knowing until you ask."

Ciara knelt down a bit to the side of Ivy, her hands on her knees, she took a deep breath. "Well, I have a friend of mine. He's been exposed to some really bad poison which is going to kill him. I was expose to it myself but not to the amount he has been... We think we've come up with a possible cure but...we're missing an ingredient, a very important part...We need some spores from one of the plants you keep her in your garden." She looked down, afraid Ivy was gonna freak, to yell, to kick her out. She knew how much these plants meant to Ivy which was way this was so hard to ask.

Ivy looked at her with a slight frown, "You want to take the spores from one of my darlings. To steal away it's unborn children in order to twist them into some man-made concoction to save a meat-bag? Not a chance my dear." she turned away, "for you to live, perhaps I might spare a few, but I have no care for anyone else."

"I know how much each plant, whether it be a seed, a spore or a plant means to you. They're all precious and you could never put a price to their worth. I would never ask this of you unless there was no other way... Please Ivy. He's so very dear to me. I don't know what I'd do if he..." She took hold of Ivy's hands, and held herself up against Ivy's legs. She looked up at her, clear fear of this man's life visible in her eyes, "Please, Ivy. I'll do anything to save his life...Please..."

Ivy looked down at her, disappointment in her green eyes, "So it comes to this does it? In the end, you people will always choose mankind over nature-even you." she pulled away, "get out. Your little charms can't mask your true nature. You are, and always will be, one of them."

Ciara look hurt by Ivy's word. "I'll always try to save a life... whether it's a tree's or a man's... I never masked anything from you Ivy. I've been nothing but honest with you. " She got up, "But I'll respect your wishes..." She looked truly defeated, almost to tears. " I guess this is good-bye then." She said, giving a quick bow before turning to leave. As she started to leave, a couple vines wrapped themselves around her leg. She looked down, "Hey, don't be like that. You hear your mother. I'm gonna miss you little guys." She said gently patting the vines and trying to get it to let her go but it wouldn't.

Ivy watched her leaving, still a prominent frown across her lips. "Ask the plant." she stated finally, "If you can convince my darling to give up her children, then I won't stop you."

Ciara turned back to Ivy and nodded. The vines let Ciara go after Ivy spoke. She headed off to where the plant resisded. She knelt down infront of it. "Hello, little one... I'm sure you've already heard through the grape vine of my troubles. But I'll inform you incase you haven't..." She spoke softly, "A dear friend of mine is very ill, he gets closer to death every min and the only way to save him is with the help of some of you spores." She patted the plant lovingly, "I know I'm asking a great deal. More than I probably should, after all I'm asking you to give up your childern, their futures... But they're lives will help save another... Please help me save him."

((Come on, She SAVED the garden from a fire and without her the plants wouldn't have enough water to surive. Cut the lady a break))

The pant shivered and at first it withdrew, closing up tightly as Ciara knelt nearby. After a few moments however it relaxed and slowly bloomed for her.
Ivy actually looked surprised but made no movement to stop it.

Ciara's face lit up, "Thank you." She took a vital from her porch and took a sample of the plant's spores. "I'll make sure your sacrifice is not in vain." She arose and turned and nearly jumped, "Miss Ivy! Ho-How long have you been standing there?" She asked.

Ivy crossed her arms, "go."

Ciara looked down, saddened by Ivy's coldness but she quickly hurried off back to Mr. Freeze lab.

As ciara walked back into Freeze's lab the computer spoke into her com, "Situation update: Batman subdued. Caution: condition critical."

"Success?" Freeze asked curiously.

She was gasping for breath, "Yes! Here. Please hurry." She gasped, handing him the vital before collapsing into a chair.

he took the vial and placed it into a machine, going to work at it, "This is still going to take a little time. How is your friend doing?" Freeze questioned

"Just hit critical a few mins ago." She said, her leg hopping in place.

"You might want to go check on him. I can contact you when it's done." freeze advised, "I have to give it time to set, this isn't going to take less than an hour."

"Alright, thank you again Freeze." She said hurrying off again. "Computer, I'm on my way back now. It's gonna take a couple hours for the cure to be ready." She said, forming a string ray and zooming back to Wayne Enterprises.

"Batman condition critical. It is not advised to wait any longer than twenty minutes."

"Nightwing, get your butt over to Mr. Freeze's lab and get the antidote. We haven't much time left. And be nice!" She ordered, running up the steps of Wayne Enterprises before opening up the trap door and sliding down the pole.

"I'm on it" Nightwing replied over the com.

Down in the substitute batcave, Batman was laying on the floor surrounded by three robots that had their weapons trained on him. All the security systems were focused on the man who was now bleeding on the floor. His eyes were shut tight and he let out a moan that revealed he was still in fact breathing.
The cave was covered in debris. It looked like a war zone, so many things strewn apart, a few chunks of machine were still smoldering.

Computer stand down! Get me all the medical supplies you have!" She ordered quickly getting to work on Batman, "Don't you even think of going toward that bright light, Mister." She said placing her hands on him to stop the blood from leaving his body.
