Sabertooth kicked in the door to Hank's room and growled loudly, startling the scientist awake.

"What in the name of Shakespeare's sonnets-Ciara?!" Beast leaped from bed and ran over, stroking Ciara's hair.

"Babies" Sabertooth mumbled

"o.o" Beast blinked, "I'll take her-go get Phil! Where's Pietro?" he demanded, taking Ciara in his arms and bolting down the hallway.

((I love how "o.o" is perfectly appropriate for that moment.))

"Sewing rOOOM." She had a good collection of sweat above her brow. "...Daddy, it really hurts. I think- GAH... something might be...SON OF A BAKA." She whimpered.

"It's okay droplet" Beast replied, "phil and I already have the lab set up for this. We won't let anything bad happen to you or the little ones" Soon Beast had her laid out on a bed in the lab and Phil came running down in a pair of pj pants and a lab coat.

By the time they had Ciara all set up, Pietro came speeding into the room and then lastly, Sabertooth stood at the door.

"Nononononononono hospital. ... I don't want you to see my belows... Why won't you take me to the GAH-"
Ciara looked up as Pietro came in, "Tell them to take me to the hospital. I don't wanna give birth here. I don't feel right."
It was the longest 2 hours Ciara had ever felt, the babies although were perfectly fine, seemed to be in some sort of distress regardless. Ciara's freckles were working over time. And it seemed Sabertooth although farest away, was the only one who noticed Ciara's arm fading slightly, only for a moment..

It wasn't til the storm settled down that the cramps and the babies seemed to calm down. Though none of them noticed as they were underground.

Ciara looked like a hot mess, "I... I think the pain killers are finally working." She relaxed her grip on Pietro's hand a bit and patted her stomach, "Good babies... no more panic-...ing." She bit her lip as a sharp pain hit her but only for a moment.

Pietro flexed his fingers, trying to get the circulation moving again, "You did great sweetie" he told her, "it's all over now, just relax" he kissed her forehead.

Phil finished cleaning the two babies and wrapped them up after checking them properly, "Here you go" he gave the little girl to Pietro and the boy to Ciara, "they're perfect"

"Oh my gosh. Look who we made." Ciara rubbed her cheek gently against the little boy's cheek who made some noises, "Shhh, It's ok. Mommy's here... Can I see her?" She asked, wanting to hold both of them.

"Well, you did most of the work" Pietro replied, giving the girl a kiss before handing her over to Ciara. "They're beautiful."

"Well they get that from their father." She smiled. Ciara held each one in an arm and after a moment she felt herself crying. "We made it babies...We made it." So much had happened during the early stages of her pregnancy. She patted the side of the bed for Pietro to sit down."Could I get some water please?" She asked calming herself down as the two babies started crying too.

"Sorry sweeties. Mommy's ok." And the two soon settled down again. "We haven't thought of names yet." Ciara just realized this.

Pietro laughed and hugged the three of them, "Woo! BABIES!" he cheered, "names? Who needs names? WE MADE LIFE! BWAHAHAHAHAAA it's aallliiivvveeee!!!!" he picked one of them up and danced around the room.

Ciara chuckled lightly, brushing the little tuff of hair to the side of the baby boy's head, "Would you like to hold him Daddy?" She asked Phil who was smiling happily beside the bed.

"I would love to" Phil replied, taking the child and rocking him.

And they babies.

Ciara even got Sabertooth to come in and hold the little boy. If he hadn't heard her... she probably would have given birth on the stairs. The little guy curled his hand around one of Sabertooth's fingers...

Sabertooth eyed the child and growled low.

The baby boy shifted in the bundle of blankets, opened one of his eyes part way at the growl and closed them again, till holding fast to Sabertooth's finger.

"I think you have a friend." Ciara said warmly, reaching out and putting a hand on him, "Thank you for coming to my aid... I don't know what I would have done.."

Sabertooth just stood there, he had nothing to say about it and it was rather awkward to hold a baby in such large arms. He gave the child back to Ciara, grunted, and left.

The little baby boy didn't seem to want to let go but after Ciara slipped her finger in place of Sabertooth's he seemed to calm down.

"Big Blue, I think we'd like to go back up to bed now..." She was drained and it was taking a lot now to stay awake.

Beast nodded and brought Ciara into his big fuzzy arms to carry her back up to her bed.

Phil had some time getting the baby girl away from a dancing Pietro, "She's aallliiivve" he proclaimed again, perhaps a little too excited.

"Yes, and now she needs to sleep" Phil took her away, "and so do you, it's late."

"No way, I'm wired" Pietro spun in a circle, "Babies!"

"Pietro, sweetie... Come to bed, I wanna cuddle..." Ciara called back, holding the little baby boy in her arms. She looked up at Big Blue, "You're a grandpa now Big Blue." She rubbed her cheek into his side.

"Awwwww I guess I can do that" Pietro replied, hopping after her.

Beast tucked Ciara into bed while Pietro and Phil tucked the babies into a double crib.

"I feel 20 pounds lighter.." She stated softly curling into the sheets. "Daddy... Sorry I called you a blue animal while I was you know..."

"Think not on it" Beast replied.

Pietro snuggled into bed with Ciara, and so they slept and had BABIES

There was a new joy in their lives, two healthy twins, giggling and burping on their shoulders. They both were rather lively regardless of being so little. Pietro and Ciara were both keeping a close eye on them. They'd both gotten their powers at a young age so it was likely that the twins would as well.

But they hadn't decided on names yet. They were downstairs sitting on one of the cutting tables, trying on little socks on the kids when Ciara brought it up.

"What about Henry? Or Taylor? Or Chelsea, Lisa, Natalie? Kevin, Pietro Jr..."

Pietro laughed, "I always thought that was pretty vain, naming your kid after yourself. How about Seth? Cristin? Or maybe something a little different like... Kila or Nemiah, Asima, or Ashley-we could call her Ash" he poked the girl's nose lightly.

"I feel the same way about it. They're name just becomes junior... Like you can never be better than the person before you... I'm just throwing ideas out there. I can't believe we hadn't thought up names before! You and I have been true space cadets lately... Maybe I should hire a secretary type person."

She thought of his list, "Hmmm I kinda like just Ash." She slipped a pink kitty hat over the baby girl's hat, "How about it sweetie? How does Ash sound?"

The little boy crunched his face and whined.

"Ohhh, don't worry my little man. We'll pick a name for you too." Ciara tickled his toes lightly for a moment till he giggled.

"Hmmm, Dean, Andrew, Kaz... How about Anakin?" Pietro grinned, "Luke, I am your father's father"
