Ciara pouted, "You've been going out so many times lately... Your grandchildren are going to start thinking you don't like them." She said, half joked. He seemed to be going off an awful lot lately.

Eric looked back at her and smiled, "Nonsense, I'll be back before they even know I'm gone."

Ciara chuckled to herself and jogged over and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "Regardless, be safe on your travels, Papa."

Little Max started to make upset noises, "D'aww, don't worry little Max, Papa won't forget to give you a kiss before he goes.."

Eric gave Max a kiss on the forehead, "see you later Max" he smiled and waved to the others.

Violet gave a small wave but she felt rather embarrassed that she'd stormed in here and now didn't know why.
"And where's my kiss?" She asked, giving him a playful pout.

Charles chuckled and gave Violet a kiss. "Come on, lets take you home" he suggested.

Violet nodded and got up. She felt a little warm and her head was still pounding. "Alright. Sorry for the wild goose chase."

Ciara waved her hand, "Don't worry about it. These things happen. Papa just seems a little preoccupied lately and doesn't enjoy being interrupted from... whatever he's been up to. You sure you'll be alright Vio?"

She nodded, "Yeah, just takes me a little bit to get back into the swing of things after Ghosting."

"You don't know what he's been up to either?" Charles asked, looking to Ciara as he helped Violet up, "... I'm starting to become a little concerned. Perhaps we should speak to Scott?"

"Agreed." She asked, slipping Max into a baby backpack.

So they went searching for Scott

"Eric?" Scott looked up the war table which was showing a hologram of some part of the world. " I was wondering when you'd be wandering down here," Scott commented looking at Ciara and patting Max on the head, "No, he hasn't been on active duty for quite some time... He's also hasn't been informing of us of where he's going..." Scott waved his hand and the terrain changed on the table. "Due to... previous experiences, I've tried having him tailed... Just as a precaution of course but..."

"You always lose him," Ciara finished.

Scott nodded walking around Emma who was also in the room, "We've narrowed it down to the Middle East but..." Scott looked at Emma.

"What?" Ciara asked, "There's something you're not telling us.."
Scott looked at Violet, "Perhaps you should step outside, Miss."

Charles nodded to Violet, "Head home, I'll meet you there later" he promised.

"But... But I wanna help. I think that spirit was trying to-" Violet started as Ciara put a hand on her shoulder.

"It's nothing personal but I think we're going to be talking about some highly classified info.. Members only. If we need you, we'll let you know, Vio."

Violet looked down and nodded, "Ok..." And she headed out.

"Alright Scott spill."

"The night you gave birth."

Ciara cringled, "The most painful/wonderful night of my life... What about it?"

"That storm that rolled in here that night... wasn't natural. Storm was freaking out all night... Forge looked into it for us... Gamma rays, phyton ratings, cosmic radiation, magnetic forces.... off the charts, suddenly, out of the blue with no cause. Then it's suddenly gone... Appoxly 2 hours. Something's upsetting the balance of things."

"The time it took me to give birth?...You can't be serious?" Ciara looked toward Emma.

Emma nodded, "You might have power Ciara, but to cause something that big? It was a bit over the top, even for you."

"So what does this mean?" Charles questioned, "What's Eric up to?"

"I was going to say..."

"We're not saying you caused it... Perhaps you were merely affected by the effects." Scott ensured. "We don't know what Eric's up to.. For all we know he could be going out to meet some lady friend in the middle east... But according to Forge's eye in the sky, we were able to get a rough idea of where it came from."

"...The middle east?" Ciara finished his thought.

"Eric could have nothing to do with this but-"

The door burst open, Violet ran a few steps into the room, a trail of blood coming down from her eye, "You have to stop him. PLease...Eric..." Violet was crying blood filled tears. She'd never ghosted so close together before.

"Violet!" Charles exclaimed, rather alarmed, "Calm down." he demanded, touching her forehead as he tried to get a quick explanation and to hopefully save violet any potential brain damage.

Violet's head was filled with a different language, German. And a single woman stood there in the darkness as Charles looked in, Magda.

As soon as Charles saw her, Violet collapsed into him.

"Oh my gods." Ciara passed Max off to Emma and quickly looked her over.

Charles caught her, though he was fairly stunned, "I would recognize her anywhere. Eric's been carrying a picture of that woman in his wallet for as long as I've known him..." he looked to Scott, "It's Magda. Something must be very wrong."

"Magda?...Pietro and Wanda's mother? " Scott asked.

"Violet. Violet. Can you hear me?" Ciara asked, snapping her fingers by Violet's ears.

Violet stirred, looking rather pale, "Frig my head..."

"Violet, look at me. "Ciara looked into Violet's eyes, "Follow my finger... Eyes are responding fine... Must have popped a blood vessel near her eyes," She commented noting a deep red spot around her nose/eye. "Violet, what's the last thing you remember?"

"I...I was almost out of the building...A woman was standing there... She..." Violet grew alarmed, "She came up to me and pushed herself into me..." She took deep breaths, "She forced her way inside me. I couldn't breath. I shouldn't stop her...."

"It's okay" Charles assured her, "I know her-well, I never really met her, but I know of her. She isn't a bad person, she's only trying to warn us about something" he looked back at Scott, "we need to find Eric, immediately."

Scott nodded, "I'm on it. Emma."

Violet shook her head, "This feels different. Everytime I ghost, someone wanders in... she pushed her way into me... It hurt."

Ciara put a hand on her shoulder, "Vio, I know you're scared but the next time you see her, you have to let us know. Try talking to her."

"Ok..."

"I'm not getting any read on him, he's probably wearing his helmet" Emma stated.

"I should take you home" Charles picked Violet up.

"No. I wanna stay."

"If Magda ghosts her again she's just going to run back here, "Scott stated. "She may even be able to lead us to him."

"Come on, there's some beds in the other room." Ciara guided them, taking Max back from Emma first.

Charles frowned. He didn't like it but they had a point.

"I'm getting the coocoos in on this" Emma commented.

Once they arrived in the offical nap room and Charles had set her down, Violet took his hand. "That was scary... Kiss me. "she said, her eyes big and adorable.

Ciara chuckled and sat down on a sofa and started to breast feed.
