Violet put a hand on Magda's shoulder. She turned, tears in her eyes. "I understand..." Violet said, stepping into Magda and ghosting. "Max, my love. You must listen to our son... Our grand children.... You must let go of this hate..." Eric turned and got shot. "No." Violet rushed over and knelt beside him, "Love, are you alright?"

Two...One...

A white light shot out of the machine. It hit Ciara like a brick, she grabbed her chest as an overwhelming pain shot through her body. And she started fade in and out. Horatio's small amount of DNA trying to keep her from disappearing.

His helmet dropped to the floor with a heavy clang. The weight of Eric's armour was heavy on his limbs and he was fighting with it to get it off but he mad melded it to himself so well before. He looked into Violet's eyes, knowing somehow who it was he cupped her cheek, "Magda... I'm so sorry"

The machine was sending out small pulses, gearing up to the larger one when suddenly it started falling apart. The metal was rusting right through and soon the entire thing was wavering. The pulses weakened and stopped as a large part of the main body crumpled and collapsed to the ground, revealing a body in the heart of the machine.
Horatio's eyes blazed with molten gold as his hands gripped the rusting metal, causing it to age and disintegrate. The rust spread through the floor, destroying everything it touched as the Time Reaper locked eyes with Ciara, "Run." he spoke the single word with a voice layered with power and just a bit of strain as he dropped to one knee.

Violet helped him remove his armour with a bit of psyic powers. When he cupped her face, she felt her knees go weak. She placed her hand over his, "I know, love..." She gave him a quick kiss on the lips before helping him to his feet to flee. "Charles. Help me..."


"Horatio...You came back for me..." She mouthed lightly as she stared into his eyes. "Horatio, I.." She felt a strong arm wrap around her. "NO!" Logan pulled over his shoulder. Teekl having fleed back to her master. "HORATIO!" She screamed, reaching back toward him. She didn't want to leave him. He was finally here again. The gap in her gut disappearing with his presence.

"FALL BACK!" Scott ordered, wrapping his arm around Emma and pulling her to her feet.

"Foolish interloper" the Brain aimed it's weapons at the Time Reaper, "you will pay for this intrusion"

Horatio suddenly appeared directly in front of him, placing a hand on the glass that surrounded the brain. The Brain's entire support system aged and fell into a pile of rusted metal, broken glass and dust, leaving the brain itself gray and very dead. "I have paid for my mistakes all my life" the reaper stated, "I have paid in broken hearts and shattered minds. In love and loss and pain beyond reason." the gold in his eyes was spreading through his blood, causing the veins to glow beneath his skin, "yet despite all this I would do it again because no one... no one harms Ciara."

Several of R'as' female ninja appeared, trying to take out Horatio before brought down the whole place. Everywhere he stepped, everything he touched seemed to be turning to dust.
They swung their swords expertly and Horatio didn't stop them as they tried to cut him down but the moment their steal touched his skin it fell to dust. Anyone who tried to hit him with their fists only fell to the ground as ancient bones.
Horatio's hands were beginning to tremble and as the x-squad left the building the entire thing came crashing down in a massive pile of rubble, burying anyone left behind.

"HORATIO!" Ciara screamed as the building came down. Once the rubble had settled, Ciara was able to break free of Logan's arms and rushed forward, digging through the debris, "HELP ME!" She turned when she realized no one was helping her.

"Ciara, he's" Scott began.

"Don't you dare say it! You say it and I swear I'll...I'll..." She yelled.

Violet stepped forward still ghosting, and put a hand on her shoulder, "Let's find him." And started moving smaller pieces of concrete.

Charles moved forward to help, then Rogue, then all of them.

Ciara was digging like a mad man. 'Please have made it out...please have made it out.' She thought over and over to herself. Her gloves were filled with holes and hands covered with bruises and cuts after an hour and a half of searching.

Magda had stopped searching after Eric seemed to pass out, and rested his head on her lap and lightly brushed his hair.

Charles kept scanning the area for Horatio's mind, after awhile he called out, "Over here! I'm picking up on something!" as he ran towards the area a large amount of the debris caved in.

Rogue gabbed his arm to keep Charles from falling into the hole, "Careful sugar" she told him, "this part ain't stable."

"He's down there" Charles replied, "He's half unconscious but he's down there."

Ciara wrapped herself in a bubble of water, "I'm going in. Kurt get the medical kit and the strencher ready." She ordered before wizard of Ozing it down the hole.

Scott sighed, "Do what she says," He crossed his arms, she had a habit of taking the leadership role away from him. But he would have ordered the same thing... Guess she learned from the best.

There was a fair amount of debris blocking the way but with a little extra light from one of the emergency flashlights, Ciara was able to see through to where Horatio lay. There were numerous support beams that had crashed down around him and now were caging him in as he lay in a heap of dust and dirt. His veins were still glowing gold which was likely the only reason he was still alive. Anything that would have come crashing down on him would have instantly fallen to dust.

"Horatio? Horatio, can you hear me?" She called, looking for a way in to him. "KURT! I need you down here!"

A moment later Nightcrawler BAMFed into the area. He had to hop and skip a few steps before finding a stable area to stand, "Mein Got, this is not safe" he stated, "It will come down any minute!"

Ciara's eyes were fixed on Horatio. "You need to get me in there, now."

"We could land somewhere unstable" Nightcrawler argued, "did you not just hear me? The whole thing might come down on us."

"I'm not leaving him, either you poof me in there or you can just leave." She said, eyeing a hole which she might fit in with some expanding with water.

"Alright! Alright." Kurt eyed the area below the beams, trying to find a decent spot to land before he wrapped his arms around Ciara, "Here goes nothing...." he took a deep breath and teleported them in.

The ground shook beneath their feet and a little of the debris fell but after a moment it seemed like it would hold a little longer. Luckily anything that touched Horatio still turned to dust so at least he wasn't injured.

Ciara stabilized the floor below them by covering it in a layer of water. Almost looked like Jello. "We may need Rogue to zap some of his powers out..." She mentioned before crutched down and crawled over to him. She crawled over to him, wrapping herself in a layer of water, just incase his DNA didn't protect her against him. "Horatio... Horatio..." She called softly, looking over him for wounds without touching him

She slowly lowered her hand, a tapped his nose with her finger in one quick. It stung, the water around her finger disappeared. She bit her lip, but her finger was still there. It stung but it was still in one piece.

((Water doesn't age, I think it'd be fine))

Horatio's eyes opened part way after a few moments and he looked at Ciara, "it isn't safe" he spoke quietly, "you need to go"

((Won't it just dry up? Meh, we'll stay it's fine for the most part)))

"Silly Time Lord." She rested her forehead against his, "I will never leave you.... I just wish you would stop trying to find me and just stay with me." She whispered her jewel glowing lightly. "Kurt, think you can teleport both of us?" She asked, not sure if he was still down here.

((It only evaporates because of heat, not time))

"Two at once?" Kurt asked, "I dunno, can I even touch him?"

"No!" Horatio exclaimed, trying to pull away, "I'll kill you!"

Ciara took his hand, "Hey, calm down.... no one's killing anyone." She turned to Kurt, "I'll hold onto him." She turned back to Horatio, "You can't turn it off can you?"

Horatio shook his head, "I rarely use this ability" he explained, he looked so tired, completely drained and his eyes were threatening to close again, "and never for so much... so long..."

Kurt placed his hand on her shoulder, "Here we go again" and with another teleport they made it out of the wreckage. Their sudden disappearance seemed to trigger another collapse and the hole they were in was soon filled with deadly debris.

They appeared on the surface about a second later, the plant life around Horatio turning to dust right away. "Hey," She tapped his cheek, "You stay awake for now. If you'd stayed around longer we could have helped you get a hang of this..." She looked up at Rogue and Charles, "He can't switch it off. It's draining him. Please. Do something." She was almost begging.

"I'm not sure I can shut it down while it's active" Charles frowned.

"He's right, that's a tricky one" Emma agreed.

"A'ight" rogue stepped forward, taking off her glove, "Lemme at him."

"Not a chance" Max stated as he appeared, "Even if you could handle his powers, you could never handle the knowledge in his mind."

"Max?" She blinked.. "Then what do you suggest? Cause I don't see another way, Max
