Ciara was still looking at the wall, she couldn't look at him when she lied, "Uh, yes. Just um briefly tho."

Eric tilted her chin up, "Ciara, tell me"

"I...I'm sorry. I didn't have any other choice... " She backed up into the wall and took a deep breath. "I" She gulped, hands shaking lightly, "I have a good chunk of your memories in my head."

"What?" Eric stepped forward, "Why?"

She withdrew as close to the wall as possible, "I-I didn't have a choice. It was when I first started living here after one of my first time travelling trips... You wiggle information out of me about the future you shouldn't know and Horatio wiped your mind. You weren't yourself after that. I begged Horatio to undo it but the only way was for someone to go in and pick up the pieces. Horatio wouldn't let Charles do it cause... he'd have to wipe his mind too... So we found a mutant who could transfer powers..." She started to shake a little. "I experienced it all... every detail, every moment, every emotion, every breathe, everything.." She looked up at him, trying to keep it together as the memories came flashing back through her mind.

A look of understanding crossed Eric's face, and then it was filled with sympathy as he came and hugged her tightly with one arm, the other still holding Lucas, "Ciara... I'm so sorry. I would never wish such memories upon you"

She held tightly to him, a few tears escaping her eyes. "I know... That's why I can't be mad at you for doing something like what you did... cause I know what they put you and Magda through... I, of all people, know why you act the way you do..."

He sighed deeply, closing his eyes for a moment, "And yet... you still think homo-sapiens deserve a chance to screw it all up again?"

"I have hope and faith... faith that they've learned from their mistakes... I can't damn a whole race based on the actions of a few. There will always be resistance to change... It's in our nature. But I have hope... and we've made so much progress Papa.."

"But I see the same mistakes being made again and again, every day" Eric looked at her, it was clear that he had lost hope for the human race long ago, "I can't decide if you are being niave or truthful. I learned a long time ago that the actions of a few can dictate the lives of thousands."

"I know. And everyday we go out and fix those mistakes...Papa. I've seen the future... and that road is not paved in force and fear... it's paved in hope, trust and forgiveness..." She cupped the side of his face, "Why do you think I've been trying so hard to get you to see things from a different light?"

He sighed heavily once more then kissed her forehead, "Alright my dear, I will try."

She smiled lightly, "I don't expect you to sudden be pro humans. All that matters is you try, Papa." Hugging him lightly.

"Squuuuueee. Goo goo!" Lucas exclaimed.

Eric smiled a little and tickled Lucas, "Now... I believe you interrupted my nap"

"Geeeeeeeeee. Hehee." Lucas giggled and clapped his hands.

"Best let you get back to it then, "Ciara went to take Lucas away and he started to whine. She stopped, "Oh, you wanna have naptime with Grandpa, is that it?"

"Hehee goo." Lucas looked up at Eric, his little baby eyes wide and adorable.

Eric chuckled and they snuggled up for a nap together

It was about a week later when Violet finally came around.
"Mmmm..."
"Charlie. Charlie! She's waking up." Luke shook Charles away who had fallen asleep in the chair.

Charles startled and blinked, "What? violet! Hey, how are you feeling?" he asked, hovering over her.

She groaned, trying to focus her eyes, "Why aren't you handsome..." She coughed. "How long have I been out? My butt's asleep."

"Awhile" Charles sighed in relief, "Magda had a hold of you for hours"

She reached up and kissed his lips, "Feels more like days..." She sat up, "Hey there Lukie."
Luke leaped onto the bed and wrapped his arms around her.
"H-Hey, Hey... I'm alright-"
"You didn't come home."
"Well-"
"Mr. Logan made me Hotdog mac and cheese and we watched Godzilla movies till Charlie came around and made me take a bath..." Luke stated. Violet played with his hair.
"Oh did he?" She laughed lightly.

"Logan is fairly reliable with children..." Charles commented, "as long as it's short term. He tends to neglect the more long term things."

"We were being manly!" Luke interjected. "You ok now?" He asked, flomping his head on her lap.
She smiled, "A little out of it but I think I'll recover.... When I ghost I give my body up to the other person but... I feel like I made out with someone... Did I?"

"It wasn't me" Charles replied regretfully, "Eric."

"Ooooo-k then." Violet felt really awkward. "That wasn't me, must have been Magda... Ahem. Um well. That's gonna make going to work awkward."
